They didn't have the one trimmer in stock but he made it easy to get it from their Bellevue store (who also had everything ready for me as soon as I walked in). This store is always helpful and willing to talk through any projects I have and give me ideas or tips on what and how to do things. There is always someone around to help. You would think being a small store compared to the big box stores their prices would not be as good but for every hit I have compared they are more that competitive and sometimes even cheaper. Me and husband support our local mom-n-pop type businesses…read more When it comes to hardware stores, in all seriousness, to h**l with Lowes who been gouging its customers and we had enough especially of their ludicrous lumber that we been having to spend a couple hours searching through the piles to even find a small bundle thats decent for our job. So when it comes to hardware, we're paying a lot more for the same type of products at Lowes, and often times theyre lower quality whereby made in commie china. Our household supports our United States as well as other allies, and we try to buy the least amount from communists. We had even stopped in at M&M recently to pick up brass water valves. Theyre made in Italy and cost a little less than Lowes china valves. If you want to get a first hand view of the valves coming from china, just simply go to Amazon, Ebay, etc and read through the reviews/reports which certainly dont paint a pretty picture for them.

Once, I broke a door lock in our Victorian era home. I went to Eureka figuring I could find something that had the same footprint to match up so the difference in wood colour wouldn't be so noticeable. Bob, then the owner, took me to the third floor and dusted off an old display. He produced an exact duplicate, New old stock, of the lock. He then sold it to me for the price on the 1890's era price sticker.
