In any event, they still said that I owe the $280, so we faxed up all the documentation that should have proven that we had fulfilled our financial obligation to NM Ortho. Two weeks ago we received a phone call asking me about the $280 once again. The medical staff was absolutely terrific however dealing with the billing department is a highly frustrating and an unnecessary headache.
