My husband and I were referred to Patty about a year ago. We have been very pleased with the care we receive, the attentiveness of the staff, callbacks or communication from Patty and her assistant as well as how easy it has been to be seen. We have been treated for high blood pressure, diabetes, heart condition, depression, anxiety, weight-loss and more. Patty is great about taking the time to listen, answer your questions, review your past history and make helpful suggestions for future care. We were declined by our insurance for a particular treatment and Patty went to bat for us and ultimately got the treatment approved. It was wonderful to know she really cared and was willing to take the extra time to help us. Cathy and her team are completely inept and incompetent. Cathy contradicts herself. She remembers nothing about her patients even after only two weeks between visits. As a retired Registered Nurse, I've had the privilege of being under Patty Augustniak's care for more than a year. Her extensive knowledge and genuine compassion have consistently impressed me. Patty's approachable demeanor makes our conversations effortless. I have complete confidence in her ability to manage my health, and I look forward to remaining her patient for the foreseeable future. I love Trident Health Center. Summer is always helpful at the front desk. Crystal, Patty's medical assistant, is always accessible and assists with any issues I need to convey to Patty. I have been going to this health center for couple years now. I did not like it at the beginning, but I said to myself, let me give a try. They broke one of the tubs with my blood, one of the tests was abnormal. I requested to speak with the doctor, or her assistance, but I was told that I need to pay again to schedule a new appointment to go over with my lab results. I requested again to please speak with someone over the phone. The front desk lady by the name Summer was very unprofessional, she started arguing with me, did not resolve my concerns, and she told me that she did not want to speak with me anymore. I never knew you have to schedule a new appointment to clarify what is wrong with the lab results or if everything looks okay. I don't recommend this facility at all. read more

I have gone back to this office a handful of times hoping that they will eventually get better and they never do :( The quality of care seems to be something they do not care about, as they actually gave me an expired shot one of the times I was there. I remember the exact lady who gave me the shot and the next time I went to get the actual shot I was supposed to get I was assigned to the same lady who messed up the first time and she was laughing as she apologized to me. They constantly say things about what I can and can not do like when I can get a physical even though countless times I have told them ( and my insurance has told them) that I am able to get checked whenever I see fit. They take a $50 deposit to set a appointment then send a email demanding 14 pages of documents signed and bright in at the time of the appointment. When I wrote them asking for the documents I was ignored. I called in and was told that's not their job. Insensitive ignorant incompetent and extremely rude behavior on the part of the staff. After 29 years of being treated by the same Doctor my grandparents and parents were treated by, sadly the time came for me to find another PCP. I was recommended by a friend to check out Ashley Hatch FNP-C or Dr. Mahadevan over at Trident Health Center. And after my second or third visit with Ashley Hatch FNP-C, It was an easy decision to make her my PCP. I've only been seeking treatment under Ashley for about 8 months now and she's already seen me through a lot. There were a few times that I went to see her with little to no notice at all and she still made time to see me. Whether it be during her lunch or at 5:20 pm when her team is locking up the office and going home for the day. I'm not suggesting that you do the same and see her or Dr. Mahadevan with no notice or without an appointment. I just want to point out, that over at Trident Health Center they do care. Their staff is polite and knowledgeable. They're good with getting back to you promptly and follow-ups! When I needed to see a spine specialist over at the spine institute of AZ it was Ashley Hatch's office that followed up with me and The Spine Institute of AZ to make sure I got the treatment I needed. It's the little things like that that means so much and make a world of a difference. You can expect every Doctor/ NP to be knowledgeable and have experience in their field of work. But don't expect every Doctor/ NP to show compassion and be understanding. Those are attributes that go beyond the title of Dr/NP. read more

When Ashley Hatch was there I'd give this practice 5 stars. However, I recently saw Tiana King and it was a terrible experience. She did not listen at all. Prescribed a medication without discussing it with me and did not list it on my post care notes. Her bedside manner was atrocious and I would never recommend her. Not very impressed with the facility. Located in a strip mall next to a head shop in a pot dispensary. Walked in and there was some kind of advertisement for a sculpture service that had marketing written all over it. Walked in eight minutes late and was turned away and asked to reschedule my appointment. I've heard great things about Dr. M but this facility is lacking basic accommodation. read more

Dr. MAHADEVAN has been my primary care physician for the past 6 months, and I am always pleased by the level of service provided at his clinic. Unlike many physicians I've had in the past, he takes his time to thoroughly understand his patient's concerns before taking action. Highly competent and actually puts thought into the best course of action for his patients, unlike the "cookie cutter% physicians I've seen in the past that try to make your visit as brief as possible. Front staff and medical assistants are always friendly, and wait times are minimal. Unlike other offices that make you wait an hour or more past your scheduled time, they will see you shortly after your scheduled time. Amazing. read more

This is a horrendous place. I WILL NOT BE BACK. Here are the reasons: 1) Staff CAN NOT do a referral correctly. I have managed care and they messed up my referral more than once. 2) They charge $10.00 for a blood draw - insurance does NOT pay this additional expense - Trident calls it a "convenience fee." You know when they tell you this? AFTER you get your blood drawn. Shame on you, "Dr." Arvind. You knew and DID NOT tell me or give me a choice. This place is a RIP OFF. Very Unhappy, Not Going Back Dr. Mahadevan has a lot of 5-star reviews because he asks constantly for a review. I was so impressed with him, but lately, I am not. I got constant notices to make my appointment for a physical. I got constant reminders of this appointment. I keep getting notices that I have a balance due and to go on the portal and pay it. But I have not gotten a bill. Now I looked on the portal, and I have a balance for my last three appointments, but I never got a bill or notice before. I am on Medicare with a supplemental plan, and I usually never have a balance due. My husband had a physical, but he never got a notice that his results were done, and now he can't get into the portal. Today Dr. Mahadevan would not have my virtual appointment until I paid him. Yet I was told they sent the bill to me on April 26th. He expected me to pay almost instantly, but he did not bill me quickly. I always pay my bills, and I have excellent credit, yet I was treated today like a delinquent problem. read more

After seeing Dr.Mahadevan for over a decade and had been happy with him and his services. Unfortuneatley, since I declined to take the COVID vaccine when it first came out, his office has been "unavailable" to return calls or provide a bloodwork script. I have used the Patient Portal for as long as he has offered it however they have removed me from access. The office staff have been extremely rude and do not return calls. I scheduled to have blood drawn in office and asked many times before scheduling if they take cash pay since I do not have insurance and haven't for 6 years, and when I went to the appointment, 15 mins early, the front desk gal said I need insurance and told me it was my fault for not asking. I would NOT recommend this physician to anyone! His office staff is extremely rude and he doesn't seem to mind. To note, he has a high turnover with medical assistants, front and back office services. read more

BEWARE!!! We were referred to this office and have had several good visits so no complaints. The NP we originally saw left this office which was disappointing because I really liked her but the new NP we saw was just fine. My daughter was starting nursing school and needed a physical and a titers test. She scheduled a well visit and while at the well visit we asked for the titers test and she had been breaking out in hives so the NP ordered a allergy test. Apparently the Office Manager at the office has her own way of deciding how visits get coded because of the tests needed she decided this was no longer was a "well visit" which is covered by my insurance. I was billed approx $100 for the visit, I called the insurance company and the accounting department so we could all be on the call together and the insurance company confirmed they just needed to resubmit the 'claim coding" of the visit. .... the accounting department said the office manager would call me, never got a call. I followed up the next week and accounting said it had been resubmitted to insurance. Nope just got a letter from a collection company. I just called and paid the balance but I will be looking for a new doctor's office. Even if the NP is good, we can't go to an office that does their own account coding and billing. You need the entire office to do their jobs correctly and I don't have time for this lack of professionalism. read more

My appointment was at 2pm today with Dr Mahadevan who was a great listener an did a great job of explaining how he would attempt to handle my issues and address my concerns. The receptionist and medical assistant were both very nice and appeared compassionate and attentive. I left the office feeling like I was on an decent path and had some slight confidence his course of treatment would be helpful at the least. The only issue I had was the provider said he was going to prescribe me a few medications to help me manage my symptoms, but after 4 hours my pharmacy stated they never received the prescriptions and that it doesn't take longer than 2 hours so I should contact my doctor. I called the office, which is now closed (6pm) and the option to speak with the on call physician goes directly to voicemail with no ringing. However I did receive a call from the Doctor within an hour of leaving the message to which he apologized and re-sent the prescriptions to the pharmacy. This provider asked my willingness to change to him to continue treatment during my visit and at the time I was slightly agreeable. Based on this experience its still a possibility. Aside from the little hiccup with the pharmacy I would recommend the doctor and staff. Thanks! read more

Never go to this health center. I went in for a basic women's exam. They called me and told me I had to come back in because they messed up my labs then they tried to charge me twice. I have called the office 4 times to get my bill fixed and was told "the office manager has been notified". It's been months of bothering them and then they send me to collections. Now I'm trying to get proof that I tried to get the bill changed and now they just redirect me to their "new billing". I can't believe I ever went there. read more

Taking time, in a busy practice, to find compatible insurance referrals, answer and explain details to me regarding my dads care, and fax off doctors orders, to list just a few requests.
