Everyone from the techs, nurses, nurse practitioner, registration staff, and the doctor were all kind, quick, and thorough with my stepmother's care. The staff assessed, treated, and discharged my stepmother in a timely manner and made sure they gave us clear discharge instructions and directions for follow-up care. They have a policy for patients about being late or unable to attend an appointment, but the doctors are constantly running late without apologies or explanations. The second I was wheeled into the ER doors the woman behind the desk showed me kindness and immediately got me back to be assessed. The nurses who did my intake were really kind and reassuring. I was in a lot of pain and very anxious as well. Dr. Matt Chandler saw me right away and made sure I got X-rays and medication for the pain. It did take quite a wait for the xray tech but once she came to get me I think I was in an out of imaging in less than 10mins. The x-ray tech was really nice as well. Once I was back in waiting the doc came to see me and I have to say he is excellent. He has very good bedside manner and I could tell he genuinely cared for my well being. After going over X-rays and follow up instructions I was fitted for my boot and the girl who did it was awesome. I am still in a lot of pain despite the meds but she was able to get it on really gently with minimal discomfort to my already swollen foot. I'm really pleased with the level of care I received and the guidance on orthopedics and follow ups. I hope to not ever have to return the to emergency department for an injury or illness but if I did I would be relieved for it to be at Jennie Stuart and especially in the hands of Dr. Chandler!

From walking in, checking in to seeing the nurse and doc and walking out after seeing the doctor, the whole experience was top notch! I felt like they cared for my son (& addressed all of my concerns). Fast forward to yesterday and today, I did not hesitate to take him back here for an injury to his finger and fever. In a pinch, you can make an appointment and check in online. Then, when ready, you get a text to go inside and avoid waiting in the waiting area. I did walk in and sit to wait to get him, but it was not long at all. Maybe 5 minutes, then into the triage room, and another 5-10 minutes in the exam room to see the doctor. Great bedside manner and excellent with young kiddos! I must give a shout out to Ms. Dixon, PA, PA-C for her candid responses to my intrusive questioning. Haha. Also, thanks to Dr. Spencer for also being gentle with my little guy. He confirmed an ear infection ... how often does an ear infection have to occur for it to be "recurring" and "chronic"?! I forgot to ask the doctor because I was just so happy to get my little one diagnosed and start meds to heal the infection. Too bad they don't have primary Pediatricians at this location. It is a definite go-to clinic for our family.

The entire team acted quickly, kept me informed, and treated me with genuine kindness the entire time. The paramedic who cared for me was especially wonderful. He explained every medication before giving it to me, made sure I understood what to expect, and even got me a blanket to help keep me comfortable. One nurse also went out of her way to bring me the fluids I requested since I hadn't eaten that morning, and even brought me food. That level of compassion and attentiveness truly stood out. This experience was night and day compared to my previous experiences before Vanderbilt took over, and I genuinely believe they are on track to providing this community with the level of care patients deserve.
