The service technicians have always been amazing. It's the company that has their heads up their ass. Was on a quarterly service. They post your service date on the website so you know exactly the day they are to show up. I had my gates open for the service day and no show from Triguard. Following day looked at the website and they changed my service date to the next month, an entire 30 days later. I called Triguard and they said they reserve the right to change the service date. But 30 days later, give me a break. They were nasty to me on the phone so I said " you know what just cancel my service". Well I had to write a personal message to them, she could not do it over the phone. This service was to be my final quarter for my 1 year obligation and I planned to continue but as I said they were rude on the phone. A few days later I received a $95 cancelation charge because you have to cancel within 30 days of the next service. Well heck, they were 30 days late to do my service so what gives? Anyhow these people suck, not the technicians but the dipshits in the office. read more

Do not waste your time with these scammers. We purchased the quarterly service. Unfortunately, we were "forgotten about" which one of their customer service representatives actually told us when we called to ask why we haven't heard from them or seen them in four months. They sent somebody out a few weeks later, then pushed the next service an extra month out. I called to cancel the service, and was told that i would still be charged $110 dollars for not giving them a 30 day notice. I was told that in the contract, they have a grace period of 90 days to service the residence. The company is shady. They don't follow their end of their contract, but expect you to. They tell you one thing which I've notated on each phone call and then tell you something different when they screw up. Their customer service will accuse you of being a liar. Supervisors don't care and will not help. I do not recommend at all. 0 stars. Don't fall into their year trap. Also, they are more expensive than most competitors. They also will charge your neighbors more and if you fight the price they will give you a better price. So while it is helpful to you, they screw over others. Never again. Also charge a 75% cancellation fee so you're basically stuck. And their quarterly year contract isn't 4 services it's 5. I explained I wasn't home on the last service I asked to be rescheduled for late mid to lat November. I did this so I could give the crap 30 day notice of cancellation. I was lied to about my 12 month contract being informed it was a 50 dollar fee for the treatments not 135. I stayed for the 12 month contract. I was never call to verify that I wanted to stay with this money gouging company once my 12 month was up or how my experience has been so far. When I went to cancel I was informed that no matter what I was getting charged the 135 dollar with it without the treatment. I also informed them I couldn't afford the outrageous cost. I was informed that I could set up a plan to pay it off. I don't know what part of can't afford the payment they didn't understand but I still can't afford it. I don't want it and I don't appreciate being lied to or bullied because this company wants to make a buck off some who can't afford it. Now I have an invoice for 135 dollars they still expect me to pay for a service never done. After many emails back and forth they still are forcing me to pay for something I don't want, I can't afford and I not actually going to have done to my property. They also lie a lot, they say it's 135 dollars for the treatment then in an email I'm told the fee is for administrative and processing costs. In the very next email I'm told that the fee is for getting me on the schedule and because they pre buy the chemicals for my house. This company is unprofessional and unethical. read more

A door-to-door salesman sold me on their service for one time. I paid for the service and he handed me a printout and said "this just says that we performed the services that we agreed to" so I trusted him and signed it, not knowing that I was agreeing to pay for three more treatments over the next year. I reluctantly went along with it to fulfill my end of the agreement even though the way in which he got me to sign was a lie. Then when my contract was up and I called to cancel they told me that I would have to pay for a full service anyway because I did not give them 30 days notice. As far as the service itself, the technician did his work, but it did not rid me of the pest problem that I had; mainly mice, which I took care of myself using standard traps. I would never recommend this company as they were deceptive from the outset, lied to me and tricked me twice. read more

A representative of TriGuard knocked on my door despite having a prominently posted "no soliciting " sign in accordance to Nampa's Green River Ordinance outlined in Title 5, chapter 5 of Nampa City Code. They use products to attract bugs to your house and then they do not kill them off and instead keep coming back to service and charge you. They are not an honorable company and will fraud you. I have been using a competitive pest control company for the last three years. I decided to give TriGuard a chance based on information I received from Matt a sales rep for TriGuard. I signed up for their initial service for my home in Eagle and my son's home in Nampa. I am more than pleased with the service I received. Tristin serviced both of our homes and went over and above anything I experienced in the past. He was pleasant and very informative. I guess time will tell if the bug problem will stay under control but based on the length of time he spent here and the detail, including moving my outside chairs to get in corners is something I've never seen anyone do before. I ended service a while ago as they refuse to honor a return visit if you still have bugs. I simply asked for a follow up treatment and was told to wait 6 weeks until my next quarterly appointment. They did this twice before I decided to terminate the relationship. Once I informed the lady about my grievance she immediately informed me I would be charged a cancelation fee in a rather intimidating tone. I couple weeks went by and a man called and asked if he could repair the relationship. I said no thank you, he wanted to pursue even more about the WHY asking for specifics. I then informed him that his people were not welcomed to my property and that any authorized access was revoked! I had to repeat myself at least 2 more times. Two months later just after the time I was given that they would come out for a quarterly a sales guy approached me while I was in my garage. He introduced himself as my neighbor and when I looked him over I seen that he was from tri guard. I explained to him that he needed to go, but he asked why and wanted an explanation. We have a small no soliciting sign next to the door bell and did not mind he over looked it. I told him that I had canceled my contract with tri guard and that I did not want to return to them as a customer. Again saying no. He pressed on wanting to know details and showing me my old account file. At this point I took things personally and told him i would call the police if he did not leave in a timely manner. Again he refused by continuing to speak and conduct some twisted form of customer service "wanting to make things right". I had to actually dial 911 before he barely stepped off my property and onto the sidewalk. He stuck around right in front of my house as if to show I had no authority there. Luckily the Sheriffs office called back as I hung up after he left. I explained to them I was ok and was just getting rid of an aggressive sales person. The man suddenly moved gingerly across the street and continued to press my neighbors for services. I dont like bothering the police or especially the sheriffs and I am glad I did not waste too much of their time. This person refused to listen and obey a simple request and if he was truly my neighbor has jeopardized any good relations pending an apology. That would be truly welcomed in a non official or off working visit. I have no intentions in letting the company off so easy. I recommend that anyone who knows of a friend or relative being harassed like this would opt to not do business with Tri Guard Pest control. read more

This is one of the most dishonest businesses I have ever encountered. They should be ashamed of themselves. A young man approached my front door and it was obvious I was busy with two small grandchildren. He was very pushy and kept bugging me. I kept saying no, and he kept asking more questions about prior services, who did them, why wouldn't I try their MUCH better service?..... I finally said ok, just to get rid of him. I told him I didn't have payment until I got my Soc, Security check. He promised several times that the company would not pull the payment until the 15th as I asked. Of course they pulled the payment 4 days prior to what they promised. I'm on a fixed income and a very tight budget so of course they overdrew my bank account so I had a $34 overdraft fee to boot. I called that day to complain and they offered no help, no nothing. I told them to cancel my service as I had received no receipts, no business cards, and NO Contract either. They had little to say, not even sorry. So, stupid me, I assumed it was a done deal and it was cancelled. Now to my joy, I got home from being out of town to find they had been to my home and apparently had sprayed around the front of my home, but couldn't do the back because my gate was locked. No appointment had been made with me, no authorization to spray, no nothing, plus they had already charged my bank account $71 . Customer service is worthless. I have explained what happened last time, they have records they admitted that state I requested to cancel their service, but never acted on them as they say it's in my contract-which I never got a copy of!!! So now I'm on the "we will call you back tomorrow with a decision after we investigate this" which of course means- your screwed old lady! What a scam. read more

We signed up for the initial service for both our home and our son's. The initial visit went well; however, since then the service at our son's home has been less than satisfactory. He is not home when they come to service, and my husband had asked that they treat the backyard specifically each time. Unfortunately, that wasn't done and he has a ton of spiders. Friends recommended another provider at a cheaper rate, so we're moving on. Upon cancelling the service, we learned they will charge our son $75.00 to pick up the bait boxes. We tried speaking to several of the staff to see if this fee could be waived, but they denied. So please read the fine print... even when you think you're done... you will still have one payment for no service. read more

This company needs to be turned into the Better Business Bureau for unethical sales tactics & for having customers sign contracts under false pretenses. DO NO SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY & do not believe what the salesman tells you. He told me I would receive yard treatment, that was a one time thing. I told him I didn't want a winter service, they called for the winter service. He told me I was not bound by a contract & they would contact me in the spring to see if I wanted to continue the services, but "sign here" so we can start your service today, which was a contract. During my conversation with the billing department in Seattle, they told me there were no specific notes from the salesman & I was bound to the contract I signed, the contract I was told I would not have. Even though they said they would look into the situation, they can't because the salesman, who was a regional manager no longer works there. The "discounted" amount for cancelling my contract I told them I will not pay as the services I'm being billed for I did not agree to, even though I was tricked into signing the contract by the salesman. read more

Connor arrived as expected, we discussed areas of concern, he then provided services as discussed with Kendal without issue. Very satisfied with the service.. would recommend! read more
