Horrible experience. I came to this clinic 7 times as it's close to me. Other reviews will say (other sources) that wait time is slow - it can be. But I usually come in when they open up at 9 or around 2-3pm which seems to have the least amount of people.
Dr. Ages, Deena Elka (CPSO#: 624428) is the WORST, file a complaint on her if you also had a bad experience.
Search: CPSO: complaints. If you receive unprofessional treatment. I have seen her 3 times for a blocked ear and my hearing became muffled.
She gave me antibiotics, 2nd visit OTC nasal spray, 3rd visit she made some noises with her hands to see if I could hear (lol?) and said there is nothing she can do but give it time and maybe allergy pills will work - it's been a year already.
I asked her for an ENT referral and she said come back in a few months to see if it has cleared up. (I went to a different clinic and received an ENT referral my first visit with a 6 week wait period)
Dr. Ages, Deena Elka also complained on my 3rd visit that I do not have a family doctor and my visits are becoming a nuisance to her practise and time. I have filed a complain on her practise
Today I went to the clinic, and have strep that I needed antibiotics and a sick note (I'm subcontracted). I need a note for 3 days and the filipino nurse whom calls patients in, told me Dr. Ages is NOT taking me as a patient due her "policy" of only writing 1 sick note per day. I insisted it's ridiculous for me to come back for the next 2 days and wait an hour. I'm not on salary nor wage pay, I lose money being sick. I asked to speak to the Dr, but the nurse said no. In the end Dr. Ages, Deena Elka needs to reevaluate her mannerism and explain the policy.
I waited for another doctor that took 30 mins, (I was there for 1hr 30m) as the nurse said he will give you a note for 3 days. Doctor came in, 5 min talk of my symptoms, to the point and quickly received my meds.
Dr. Weltman - saw him twice prior which were both bacterial infections of the throat (strep), was given antibiotics and a note which cost $15. He accessed my physical symptoms quick, something I already had prior and know how to treat. Checked my breathing and gave some holistic advice among the antibiotics. Weltman was quick, to the point, he looks at file or note pad a lot while you talk but he grabs the points of your symptoms and analyzes.
If you go to the clinic see Weltman and I'm not sure if Dr. Gross is still there but I saw him around and he seemed nice while talking to patients. (Walls are super thin you can hear everything).
Front desk: barely answers the phone, nurses do not much, look lost half of the time, or can't comprehend on what you are saying for a basic Illness along their English is not the best. Front desk can be rude, stand your ground with them and they usually back off, they usually stop taking patients 45 mins prior to close (although it says 30 mins best to call and see) read more
