The administration tries to cover this up. The weekly paper, The Insider, has several errors and should have a proofreader before it is distributed to the residents. What about Chautauqua Hall? It is a wonderful building on our grounds but cannot be used in the winter. not heated or in the summer, no a/c. This would be a better way to spend our money so that the current residents could use it year round.

Starla spent an enormous amount of time patiently answering our questions and asked many, many questions about our sister and her specific needs. Then she went to the hospital the very next day to meet with our sister and talk with her directly. It was so very clear that Starla was interested in making this work for us and our sister - more than any other community that we met with!! From Starla - to Olivia Perry, LPN, Resident Care Manager - to Shiryl Stanley in accounting... everyone who works there puts the patient and their family first. The administrative staff is on top of any issues and the social workers are diligent in helping find solutions. I can't say enough about the quality of the food provided to my father who is a picky eater. It was delicious and gave him a wide range of choices. Under very stressful circumstances during the pandemic the all worked with us so we could have tele visits with Dad as well as window visits and gave us the peace of mind to be able to see him even through a window. The entire community was kind and exceptionally considerate through a hard year.

My Mom moved into Juniper last September. She passed away on June 4th of this year. This is one of…read morethe saddest times of my life with losing her. But I wanted to send a wonderful review of the staff and facility. My Mom was no longer able to live by herself in her home because of declining mobility. It was a difficult decision to persuade her to move to assisted living, but she knew she had no choice. We picked Juniper because it's so close to our home and the staff seemed very caring and helpful. Her first week was difficult. She spent a lot of time in her room. We encouraged her to get involved in activities along with the staff and she did. Now when we called her she wasn't in her room. She was bowling, playing bingo or doing another activity. The staff really got her involved. She made a lot of friends. The nursing staff was very caring. They took care of her medications and all of her other needs. I can't thank them enough for the love and caring they showed my Mom. These ladies loved my Mom and would do anything for her. I can say that I would recommend this facility to anybody looking for a safe place to place their loved one. I miss everybody there. They made my wife and I along with our children and grandchildren feel welcome.

My grandmother has lived here for years and seems to like it, considering the circumstances. Most staff I've encountered here are pretty friendly. The rooms feel very small to me, especially the 4 person room my grandmother lives in, but other rooming options are available if you have the $$$. They do offer various activities and programs to get the residents out of their rooms at least.

(Not really her business) and when he made a smart comment, she proceeded to call other family members accusing him of doing something illegal?? THEN the business office says they are reporting him for elder abuse?? He is there daily to feed and visit his mother and is her POA. This is completely unacceptable and adds more stress to a family already dealing seeing their mom declining. This is not what long term care should be like. I would recommend Bethany Village. I've have good experiences at that facility.
