In your case, we had anticipated four days to complete the job but due to an unexpected staff availability were able to complete it in two days. To address your claim of a required payment in full: We at Trim Team are extremely transparent when it comes to payment for our services and require a detailed contract- disclosing all costs and services- to be signed prior to any job. To minimize risk for both parties, every contract has dates and amounts required to pay to continue the job. After you refused to pay the remainder of the balance due for that installment, we had ceased work and awaited payment. We completed everything that was stated in the contract and had received a work completion signature from your construction manager. No such calls were placed to "come back to complete it". We consulted with many companies before hiring them. These gentlemen came in. They took pictures of the windows, openings, ceilings, hallways and fireplaces with a digital camera.They explained our options and brought many different samples of mouldings. They had several albums of their past work so that we could get a better idea of what they had in mind. They even copied some openings for us that we saw in a magazine. Nevertheless, they gave us many options on CAD drawings. After this presentation, I thought for sure that they would be out of our price range, but they came in with a very fair price. The work is outstanding. All of their jobs, including the work they did for us is on their website. And yes, unlike many others, the work displayed is their own! They are HONEST, clean, meticulous and one of the nicest crews I ever dealt with. I wish I gould give them more than 5 stars. I'm glad I hired these guys before I saw the two negative Yelp reviews. I've got to say, the crew was responsive, careful and swift. I've had them perform two separate jobs at my house. The first was to trim the entire house and install all the doors after a full house renovation. The second was to finish the underside of a roof over my patio. Both jobs were completed to my satisfaction (and beautifully). They were open to discussing any issues along the way and were quick to correct anything that I asked them to. As an added benefit, they were extremely friendly and a joy to have around. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Finding trustworthy tradespeople can be very difficult. My wife and I were thrilled to have at least one part of the job we didn't have to worry about. AMAZING work and AMAZING team! Marek and his team gave me a foyer and a living room that looks like a picture from a magazine. We contacted Marek to install trim/molding for our living room and foyer. We had reached out to multiple professionals with ideas that I had found on Pinterest. Marek was the only one who took the time to look at my pictures and assure me that he would be able to deliver. Others not so much. We felt very comfortable asking him the silliest questions. He was always extremely responsive no matter time of the day. He provided professional expertise when we weren't sure about designs. Trim Team did a excellent job for us. He built us a custom book shelves and cabinets for our home office. The top section was divided into a set of two evenly spaced bookshelves with a middle section for a TV mount. The bottom section consisted of 3 custom built cabinets. He also connected the interior of the cabinets to the the electric socket behind the wall so we could place printers, computer equipment, etc. inside the cabinet and still be able to plug these into the electric socket. He was very detailed and precise and very clean. All work was done in the garage or outside. There was no mess for us to clean up. The custom cabinet fit our home office perfectly. This job was done last year and it still looks new and works perfectly. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Trim Team NJ to convert a formal living room into a study/library, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The project was complex with shelves surrounding the room, a built in desk and bench seat. Their team was extremely communicative and adhered to the schedule, always showing up on time. We hired Marek and his team to install coffered ceilings, wainescotting, a decorative archway, and crown molding in different rooms in our house. They did a fantastic job from the initial consultation, to the design, to the final product. Because they were working on 20 ft. ceilings, the use of scaffolding was necessary. They coordinated their work with the painters and electricians we hired so the project was performed and completed efficiently. From our initial communications discussing the work I wanted done , to the completion of the projects, everything was done professionally and perfectly. Phenomenal experience with Trim Team NJ who did both 2 story wall molding and crown molding in our kitchen, hallway, family room, and foyer. Sebastian was extraordinarily detail oriented, spent a great amount of personal time helping us make the right selections and was hands on during the installation.
