I am extremely happy with my refinished floors. We did the living room, dining room, stairs, hallway, and three bedrooms. We had just pulled up carpet in the bedrooms, and the padding left a black sticky residue on the floor, but the guys had no problem sanding it down and removing it. Looks like new. I had a few damaged boards that they replaced. They also showed me stain samples at the beginning so I could choose a color. We did dark walnut stain with satin finish. We had the floor of a small room done in April of 2017 by Premier wood renewal.The 1st time we ever had our other floors done was by a company that wasn't available in our timeline & they refinished our floors much more quickly & have held up beautifully . There were some hiccups but my real issue came along when we consulted this company a 2nd time. Eric made an appt & didn't show up until called. He assessed our floors & was adamant that it wasn't real wood & that the floors were in terrible shape & couldn't be restored. Well thank goodness for 2nd opinions. Our floors were fully restored by the 1st company & had we listened to Eric we'd have been out of thousands of dollars trying to replace wood unnecessarily. Eric and his crew did most of my first floor (living room, dining room, office and foyer) about ten years ago. The workmanship is clearly excellent as the floors look as good today as when they were first done. That's ten years of wear and tear and there is not a scratch or rub mark on them. So, now it is time to complete the first floor; the family room still had that old oil based and yellow polyurethane finish that the builder slapped on it. I called Eric, and his prices were still lower than the other two refinishers that I called. They arrived promptly at 8 am to start, as he said they would; and the guys (and Eric) finished the job in a day. The floor looks great. I'll follow this up in ten years and let you know how the refinish work in the family room held up... I'm quite sure it'll still look like new. read more

We had a friend of a friend sand our floors. They stained and it did not take all the way because they did not sand deep enough. We had a big mess and were leaving for vacation in a few days. We called several places and many did not want to do a small job or one that someone else messed up. Thank goodness for Eric, he called back right away, came the next morning and fitted us in before our vacation. Also, to my amazement there was no dust. Sadly, I can not give Eric a great review. We found him to be very nice and answered many questions prior to having our floors refinished. We felt he was very trustworthy. He refinished our floors when we were not home. Upon return we found areas that were missed; both sanded and not stained and areas that were not even sanded. I called his cell phone and left messages several times and emailed him several times with no return calls/emails. I thought something may have happened to him, but I can see from the dated reviews that he is still in business. We will have to have our floors refinished by another company as not only did he miss areas, but the floors faded fast! read more
