He's still an awesome doctor). I have been a patient of Dr. Malouf a little over two years now, after my work insurance changed & then after being laid off while on leave after being injured. Luckily I was able to carry him over and am blessed to still be able to see him. I still thank my aunt who used to be an RN and had worked the same hospital he had been at years ago for referring me to him. I am not a fan of going to the doctors, AT ALL! Especially, after finding out online, after a year, seeing my previous one, that my most recent nd long term doctor was on probation and how he pretty much decided after taking cash for services, that he was no longer going to handle my care, in the middle of it. With zero warning. Even though I was still technically under his care. This is where a good doctor definitely outshines a crappy doctor! Dr. Malouf on the other hand, has been nothing but patient, accessible, kind and friendly, which for me, means the world. Some of us have a very hard time talking about our health and vulnerabilities. While he will take the time to listen, he will also give pretty sound advice and recommendations if needed. He will treat you with respect. His office staff is great. There are times they are overbooked or busy and you might be rushed through or asked to follow up with another appointment for any secondary diagnosis due to work load, but that doesn't mean he will not follow up, nor respond to your calls or messages. He is the first doctor I have ever had that didn't make me wait a week or more for an answer to a question or concern or for important paperwork to be handled. If I needed a form filled out or anything else, he or another doctor in the group he is with at my home location were quick to help out if he were not available to do it himself. I was seen by my doctor 30 minutes after the actual appointment time and had to wait for the nurse to come back in the room for my paperwork for 5-10 minutes. This is the longest wait time I've had for an appointment.
