The service here is extremely terrible and unprofessional, the Vietnamese woman at the front desk is rude and unprofessional. We made the appointment a month ago for the RSV, and she confirm our appointment with us 3 days ago. Upon our arrival, she told us there's no more RSV available, and acted like it's not a big deal. What is the point of making and confirming appointments if you can't even be ready, she couldn't care less about the patients. read more

Dr. Nguyen is uh... quite a character. You'll have to meet him to understand what I mean. Very talkative. I like how he's very attentive and detailed and makes sure we, as parents, understand what's going on with our children's health and why he recommends certain treatments. The office has gone through several employees; his first set of staff was the best and then for some reason got replaced with some really rude smart ass people and then changed again to much better staffing upfront. Some of the girls up front are really polite and friendly and some are just whatever. I won't be taking my kids here to TQ anymore due to super limited office hours. What kind of doctor only sees his patients from 8:30-12pm Mon-Fri only?? And he doesn't even have a nurse practitioner or anything, it's just himself as the only care provider for the business. I do not like to pull my kids out of school for routine doctor appointments, especially now that the kids are logged on all morning for virtual learning. The front girl told me "well you can always make appointments for during the holidays and on vacation breaks..." so I started naming the next few upcoming holidays and all she can do was laugh sheepishly and say "oh sorry yea.. umm we close for those holidays..." UHHH OK. So I'm sorry, but we'll be going elsewhere with better and NORMAL business hours. read more

Dr. Thanh has been our doctor for all 3 of our children and still is even though we moved almost 40 minutes away. Very kind and helpful.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. I had an appointment for my 6 months old son today and it was the first appointment for them which is 8:30. I came at 8:31 and the doctor was late again. He didn't see my son until 9:20. Came in and said sorry about he needs to run some errand. This doctor is never on time. If you book an appointment after 9, good luck, your wait time is about 1-3 hours long. read more

The worst service ever by the front desk staff. My 10 months old son is sick and I came to the office at 2:30pm... The staff said the doctor appointments is full so I can't see the doctor and I should take my son to E.R.. what is the points of having a pediatric doctor and the kid has to go to ER even its not likfe threatening? I only wanted the doctor to see the kid for 1 minutes to see why both of his eyes lid became swollen. The bitch even said my son need to make appointment. Holy f, the patient is a 10 months old kid. Dr. Nguyen has been a great pediatrician for my son, it really makes me sad that I'm moving to NorCal and loosing him as my kids doc. He always does what is best for your child not what the insurance will cover. I feel like he always made himself available for my son. So glad to have found this practice. The girls at the front desk, nurses and the Dr. Go above and beyond to make you feel like family. We arrived 20 minutes early and they took us in immediately. Dr. Nguyen is the most kind and attentive doctor. While giving my toddler her shots he distracted her by singing to her which is something we never experienced with our previous pediatrician, he patiently addresses any questions you have without rushing you. I normally don't write Yelp reviews but I have to write one for this dr office. WORSE & TERRIBLE STAFFS EVER!!! I had an appointment scheduled for Jan 5th, 2021 a month ago. If you're a mom, you will know how difficult it is to get out of the house with your newborn. We came in at our scheduled time and the staffs said "your appointment is tomorrow, not today and the dr is about to go home (which was at 12pm)". I am very accurate with my appointments because I always write things down in my notebook. The staffs messed up my schedule and not even said sorry. They didn't even bother to ask the dr to see if he can take the last patient while he was still there. Most of the times, the doctors are very nice to their patients but the staffs. They think they're the mothers or someone who are very important. If you want to see the dr, you have to go through them and get approval by them. So unprofessional and EVIL!!! Staffs, you shouldn't be working at a baby dr office!!! read more

Worst pediatrician ever! Zero bedside manner he did not introduce himself, ask while we were there, or about my son's health history. He was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. My son is only 11 years old and he was already discussing his future wife and telling him he wasn't going to find anyone because he was too short and he can send them to a specialist to make him taller. I didn't even request this or act concerned about his height and now my son has a complex. He talked about his genitals and kept asking if he could look at them or if he could just tell him that he had two testicles and everything was fine and then he told him not to meet anyone at Starbucks for a private meeting whatever that means. Then the front desk girls didn't even know what vaccine he had and had to confirm after I told them. Never going back, just wow read more

I used to love this doctor's office and have been here for 6years. Since all the old girls in front were replaced last year, they are no longer friendly and feel like family. I am so sick and tired of the girl in front named Natalie. She should get replaced immediately. It took me almost 3weeks to greet an office visit, and when my sister took my son to the apptmnts late 15 minutes, thet told her that he was late and can't see the doctor. My son has been coughing for almost 2weeks. And I wanted him to get his tb test. Which both were refused. It was absurd! I was fed up and took my son yo e.r. up the street and he had bronchitis! They gave my son antibiotics. I could've went earlier had I known. These jerks dont care and may have forgotten that their patients are children. Very bad customer service. I tried to reach doctor many time two weeks, he never call back. Seem like people in office didn't give him my messages. I called again today I asked for doctor appointment the office said two more weeks. Wow two more weeks my kid is no more sick. Very rude too. She said my kid not important and that's why doctor don't call back. I asked her for doctor so I need ask him for my kid health. How does she know his symptoms is not bad or not important??? Finally found new pediatrician. Love this place.. I had appointment at 4pm, came at 3:40 hoping to get in early and sure enough I did get in early. Yay! Dr Thanh was very helpful and make my son comfortable and at ease. His nursing staff was very friendly and nice. I used to go to bolsa medical group and hated there. I would put off visiting the doctor because of those rude nurse at bolsa, but now that I found this place I will definitely won't hesitate visiting dr Thanh. This is my first time I enjoy taking my son to the doctor. I would recommend to friends n family. read more

Hand down to the best pediatric doctor in O.C.. Dr. Thanh is so kind and very friendly with my son, Aiden! He sings to my son while giving him shots and He is so quick and skilled that my son doesn't even realize what happens. Dr Nguyen is a character. He is the only doctor that my kids enjoy going to visit. He is like a little comedian 4 1/2 stars for him, but since my interaction with him is usually about 10 minutes and the other 50 minutes is interacting with the front office staff and sitting in the waiting room I'm going to have to give 0 stars for that experience. Dr. Nguyen is amazing but his new staff is terrible!! They don't communicate with each other or the Doctor. And when it comes to fixing the problems that they've caused from the lack of communication the staff could care less! Hortencia is especially awful, when she decided that she didn't want to help fix the situation she just ignores you as you stand at the front desk. His office is absolute garbage. And I mean from the staff to the office floors. The chairs are dusty and disgusting, which is especially bad considering we're going through a pandemic. His staff are completely incompetent and unable to perform simple tasks. One of his staff had TikTok open as I was talking to her. They were rude and have zero useful traits or skills necessary to that office. A toddler could perform better than them and watch TikTok at the same time. The team he hired clearly has communication issues as I not only had to wait 2+ weeks for my results (I still don't have them), they told me to come in to get my results then said that it wasn't ready. Not to mention they also lied to me when I called in a few weeks ago and they said my lab results haven't been faxed over yet. I asked my lab and they stated they sent the results in 3 days prior. I would've appreciated the truth but a lie to buy time is unacceptable. And here we are 2 weeks later, still with no results. Utterly useless team. Do not ever go to this doctors office as you'll only get a headache. read more

My wife and I love and trust Dr Thanh Nguyen. We have been having our son see him for the last 2 years and cannot imagine another doctor helping us. He was able to connect with our 7 year old son and i feel he is the best possible option for us. Dr Nguyen has discussed a plan for the continued health and development of our son. He is not just treating the issues as they come up but planning to help long term. The staff at the front desk are always amazing. I had two issues where our son did not need to see the doctor but we needed help and the front desk went above and beyond to help. I recommended all parents do not being your kids here...really bad services...I would love to give zero star if I could...my son is only 9 months and he has fever I call the office and ask the dr. if I could give him some Tylenol...the nurse told me that I have to wait for the doctor to call me back after working hour...he is busy now...Im really pissed off and told the nurse that are you responsible if my son have any problem...I need to know now...second experience is anytime I came the appointment on time but I still have to wait for dr so long just for shot...but when I came late around 20 mins the nurse told me that I have to reschedule different day...that's bullshit...fuck that place I'm going to change different doctor for all my kids...they don't know how to treat and keep customers....they are think that they are only doctor in America... read more

Dr Nguyen is a great doctor who is easy to talk to and always takes the time to explain all of our concerns. The office is clean and well ventilated and organized. If you need a caring pediatrician for your kids I highly recommend him. read more

As a first time mom, every lil sneeze, cough, or cry will set me in a panic. Luckily I found a very patient, friendly, and knowledgable doctor in Dr Nguyen. Not only does he take the time to explain things to me in layman's term, but he's also on-call after hours for any questions that I might have. (And believe me, I've called quite a bit for anything from fevers to rashes.) When my 2 1/2 daughter fractured her arm a few months ago, his office manager, Van, took charge and sent in a referral request asap. My daughter was able to be seen by a specialist that same day. I'm amazed at how prompt and efficient she is. And all that time, she was in constant contact with me asking how my daughter was and updating me on the referral. I'm very impressed. I definitely recommend Dr Nguyen and his staff to anyone! read more

Dr. Nguyen is awesome!! We have 2 kids (9mos & 32mos) and they're both under his care since birth. He's accessible 24/7 via email, phone, texting! Yes, texting!! Very kid friendly doctor. Plenty of parking. Dr is busy on Saturday so be sure to get there on time for quicker service. We have 2 kids (2 & 4) and they both go there. The nurse and the office staff is very friendly as well. There are toys, fish tank, and a flat screen TV for kids to entertainment themselves during their visit. Highly recommended. read more
