My boyfriend and I had an awesome experience at this dealership. We were helped by Baja (Cristian)…read moreand Jaryd, both of whom handled our purchase, questions, and concerns with the utmost kindness and professionalism. This place was a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships we visited previously, it was low pressure, and we left happy (and with a new car)! We can't thank them enough, and we are extremely appreciative to Maus for hiring the right people for the job.

It looks like dealership's reviews need some major updating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! (Both…read more sales AND service). While my wife and I were considering purchasing a Nissan, (and we were not in the market right at that moment), one salesman quickly became two, and the two then became THREE, all ganging up on me, all acting like they were my new best friends, saying "We really would like to see you in a new car.," flattering me and trying to charm me into giving them a yes, all while they were trying to pit me against my wife. A TOTAL TURNOFF. I don't need three people trying to convince me to make a purchase, especially threeA desperate sales people. (I say this from he point of view of having been in sales myself, so I knew their game.) But the service department was even worse. On two separate occasions, they attempted to bully her into getting additional, very expensive service that her car did not need. She was very suspicious because they were very pushy about it, so she took her care for a second opinion at Complete Automotive, a company that has a superior rating with Yelp and will not offer a service that a car does not need. They agreed that Maus was playing games with her. On another occasion, my wife wanted one thing done for service that only an authorized dealership would be able to do. I don't know exactly what was involved in it, but while doing their work, they came up with a list of numerous additional items that they said needed to be serviced, totalling around $6000. When she refused, the woman working with her became snide and pushy, and gave he an entire list of all that needed to be done, then insisted that my wife sign each item stating that she was refusing the service, WORSE, the woman told her that they would not return my wife's keys until she signed the papers. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! The commercials make the owner of this dealership look like the nice guy next door, but it all starts at the top. We noticed this type of behavior at BOTH of their stores, one in Brooksville the other in Pasco County. If he has true integrity (which I doubt), he would fire EVERYONE at his stores, from sales managers, to sales, to service managers and service workers and start from scratch. It would be great business decision and good for PR, but when has this dealership ever had integrity? STAY AWAY FROM MAUS!

Who, in good conscience, would sell a vehicle unfit for safe operation? Imperial Motor Company…read morewould. This establishment operates as little more than a transient dealership. They acquire used vehicles, perform cosmetic detailing, and place them on the lot for sale without undertaking substantive maintenance or mechanical inspection. I conducted business with Brian, the General Manager. He was accommodating and cordial throughout our interactions. My formal recommendation to any prospective buyer considering Imperial Motor Company is this: perform exhaustive due diligence and define precisely the specifications you require. Should any aspect of the transaction appear irregular, do not expect scrutiny to alter the outcome. Mr. Brian will invariably provide a prompt and superficially logical explanation designed to dismiss concern. I advise you to pause, reflect, and ask whether the condition presented is one you are prepared to accept long-term. By way of example, I purchased a Jeep Wrangler that lacked a spare tire and displayed active warning indicators on the instrument panel. These deficiencies were characterized as minor and easily remedied. However, the dealership declined to assume responsibility for repairs. In the excitement of purchase, such issues may appear inconsequential. In practice, they escalated rapidly. Upon departing the premises, the vehicle experienced complete loss of power on Interstate 75. I reside three hours from the dealership and narrowly arrived home. No consumer should endure severe anxiety operating a vehicle purchased for a substantial sum. A subsequent professional inspection revealed defects numerous enough to warrant immediate trade-in for a vehicle I deemed safe. Before executing any document bearing the designation "AS IS," be absolutely certain you can either accept the defects as presented or possess the financial means to repair them, in addition to the premium pricing charged for vehicles in this condition. When contacted, Mr. Brian stated his intent to "make it right." At this juncture, the only acceptable resolution would be reimbursement for the $4,000 financial loss I sustained when forced to trade for a safe, operable vehicle. The failure to withdraw from the transaction was my error. I mistakenly extended trust that I would not be permitted to leave the lot in a vehicle exhibiting critical mechanical failure, including repeated power loss en route. At 65 years of age, I continue to learn lessons through costly experience. The responsibility is mine. Spare yourself this hardship. Procure your vehicle from a reputable dealership that performs complete service and safety inspections prior to sale.

My wife proceeded to the car and I walked into the building, only one customer in the building, announced our arrival, waved my hand to come outside and help us that we will be out by the car so excited. I managed car dealerships for over 27 years. I have grace, compassion and understanding. After 10-15 minutes, not one soul came outside to help us. I walked back inside and one old middle eastern gentleman said "What do you want?" Shocked. This was the same man that saw me the first time walk in and I ask for help BUT DID NOT ACKNOWLEGDE ME. I said no way sir you didn't even say hello the first time. He got irritated and told me to leave and I cussed him with EXTREME DISBELIEF. Then 8-10 middle eastern men came out of the shadows rushing me while the old buy was screaming at me to leave holding the door open like I was asked to leave his country! HELL NO. The manager tried to calm us both but the old guy kept screaming and so did I. We left to never return. There is no way they sell cars there. What do they really do there? Who are they really? Who do they really help? Who do they work for? Are they citizens at all? I felt like I was in another country completely being targeted FIVE MILES FROM OUR HOME. In my career I would fired the entire staff. Does DOJ need to look into this place? There is no one thing that anyone can do to undo their actions today. Permanent damage. STAY AWAY.
