I would drive to the rental house to meet and he would not show up and not answer the phone and then a few days later we would talk again and he would apologize and make another appointment. After about 3 weeks and 5 appointments he stopped answering or calling me back. It was depressing and my tenant is really not happy because they had to live in the house all this time without the problem being fixed. Needless to say, after he quit talking to me I quickly called a different plumber and the job was completed relatively fast. If he would have just said sorry I am too busy, sorry I cant help you, you should look elsewhere I would have understood, but this is what happened and it was depressing.

We decided to give it a go and are very happy we did. His pricing was upfront and he was transparent through the process. They say there are 3 variables to consider when getting work done, and you can choose two of them. Good, Fast, or Cheap. Mountain View Builders were good and fast, and you get what you pay for. But thanks to Chris' experience, the solutions he came up with didn't break the bank and got us the end result we wanted. With that said we will be looking to Chris for future projects in the mountains.

They also opened up two doorways between our living room and dining room which gave a much more open floorplan vibe to the house, and allowed us to take better advantage of our great views. They updated a window in our primary bedroom and put a half lite door in a guest bedroom -- both of which let in much more light and access to the views. Dan is savvy about building and trustworthy. Junior and Tony do solid work, they're personable and respectful. Overall we're very pleased with the results and the cost was reasonable. We recommend Dan and team, and we'll be doing more projects with them in the future.

After rebuilding due to the 2003 fire, we were not allowed to have a septic tank as we are located too close to a nearby stream. We have had Sean and his brother Aaron out numerous times to pump the tank. It is fairly large, but they are able to get it done in about 20 to 30 minutes. They are always prompt with getting back to us when scheduling a service call and arrive well within their window promised. I feel their price is a bargain too as although gas prices and dumping fees have increased over the past years, the $350 charge has not gone up much over the years.
