I love that this is a family friendly place and I love their high success rate of getting people off the streets and into real housing, not just their homeless shelter. Which is probably why they take ALL SORTS of donations. When you have residents get a fresh start in their own place, they could use the furniture and wall pictures and dishes and vases and stuff. Which makes it different than a normal homeless shelter. I donate stuff about once a month to either this location or to the downtown location. (I have put the word out to neighbors and friends that they can drop stuff at my house, even if I'm not home. You'd be amazed how many people just throw stuff away because when they are in the cleaning mood, they want it gone now.) When I go to drop off, there is great security. Also, the residents seem to do volunteer hours and come out to help me unload my van and then sort our the donations. When I go inside for my receipt, I overhear conversations where they are helping residents set up appointments and job interviews. I am very impressed with this organization.

After nearly two years of back-and-forth communication trying to resolve the situation, Galina eventually agreed to refund $3,000. However, despite that agreement, the refund was never actually provided. Over the course of this process I repeatedly followed up politely by email asking for updates or a timeline, but the situation was never resolved. Meanwhile, I had to seek care elsewhere and even pay out of pocket for emergency care through another provider. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid $6,000 and after months of trying to resolve things respectfully, I was left without the agreed refund and with very little care provided.

What stood out to me about this store was the incredible level of organization it had. It looked like the Home Edit ladies got their hands on it. I didn't have high hopes when entering because the door was disgustingly dirty but once I stepped inside I was impressed. All of the clothes were grouped by color, shoes were perfectly lined up, everything was by size, type, and in it's place. Most Goodwill's are organized but this was next level. It made me want to go home and tidy up my own closet. I do enjoy exploring a Goodwill but now that I have discovered the pay by pound outlets I tend to prefer the thrill of the hunt there. I came to visit Phillip at Gateway Media and Films here, to have him work on some video footage for me. I am sure he would I'll take great care of you and he knows what he is doing with 28+ years of experience as well. From what I can tell they have various office spaces available at this VentureX dedicated and shared which is great and very affordable if you don't need a dedicated secure office for your line of work. They have conference rooms and a very cozy shared lounge area that works great if you are visiting with clients and discussing possible business opportunities or internal business meetings. There is also a coffee station, vending machines and microwave station available in the kitchen if you would like some coffee for yourself and your customers. As a customer, Phillip and I have had some nice conversations over a free cup of coffee or a hot latte which is always great. Internet seems to be great in the facility as well, which is a hard requirement nowadays for day to day work activities.
