The saying "If it's not broken, don't fix it." applies in this recent experience at Trio. My wife and I come here once a week since they have opened and always get a matcha in our order because they are delicious. Not anymore. Without warning, the matcha is no longer sweetened and a heads up would have been great. Regular unsweetened matcha is fine and all but I would order it that way if I wanted it like that. To change up a drink that has been the same for a year and make it worse without notice seems concerning. Now, I'm assuming you have to pay extra to get flavoring or sweetener added? As if $7-$8 isn't already absurd. Please fix this. Side note: I overheard someone say the matcha was terrible when they recently ordered it and they normally love it. The coffee and ambiance is perfect but customer service is what matters above else. I prefer the Palmdale location over this location just because of customer service. In Palmdale they are nice, friendly, attentive, always greet every guest when that come in. They will also end non work related conversations to help guests unlike this location. This location the customer service from the times I've been is never the best. So I'll be going to Palmdale day even though I live closer to this location. read more

People seem to be mad that the coffee shop that used to be here is gone and they took out the plants and painted it red and white. I personally rated the old place at 1 star because it was terrible with terrible customer service Trio however is a wonderful replacement! I've had them in Palmdale and liked it. But now they are in quartz hill and somehow they are Even better than when they first opened. I've had the iced tea with watermelon. I've had the Mazapan Latte. And I've had the Spanish latte with extra caramel. I hope they stick around. I'm glad they're here now! read more

Do not come here, this place used to be good but my past two visits the drinks were terrible. Watered down and no cold foam when you ask for it. The staff is unfriendly on top of it all, they seem bothered to have to do their job. I tried calling the last time they messed up my drink to get a new one but both locations phone numbers don't work. I sent a family member to get drink for us today to give it one more shot, they forgot the cold foam and the drink was disgusting. I tried calling again and same issue their number isn't even working. I even left a comment on their instagram since they have no customer support email either. It's a cute place and they have a great selection of coffees, teas, and refreshers, even if it might be slightly on the pricier side!! They switch up the special menu for each season or holiday, but they have their signature menu ofc. I absolutely love their mazapan latte, but then again I'm a lover of mazapan in general!! The workers are always very nice :) one thing though- there never seems to be enough seating. There are a few tables with two chairs inside, and a larger table outside, but that's about it, and there's always a line so it's pretty packed. I was super excited when I seen Trio Coffee House, would be down the street from me. I could order ahead before work! That excitement quickly went away. I've ordered ahead 5 times this past two months and maybe had my order be ready once. All the other times I've had to wait for them to make my order. This morning I went in thinking hopefully they have it ready, only to find out the system was down again 30mins after opening. The place was packed with people some were frustrated due to system being down. So it seems it's a continuing problem. I decided to have them cancel my order which I couldn't even do because of their system being down. I was told I would receive a phone call once my order was canceled which I never received. I tried calling and there was no answer. I'll have to try again tomorrow. I'm giving them two stars for their costumer service they are always very apologetic. I would give them a couple more times and update my review accordingly...wish me luck! read more

The drinks are very inconsistent and overpriced. The service is good but the baristas need to step up their game. I understand it's not the easiest job but i shouldn't have to come home and remake my $8 drink for it to taste better.My horchata latte tastes like water down coffee w a splash of milk no sweetness. I usually go to Trio all the time. I LOVED their matcha up until today. I'm not sure what used to be in the drink but it's not there anymore. They have changed the recipe from it being sweet to it being bitter. I always say I'm going to get a coffee but end up with mouth watering matcha instead. Today it was not mouth watering. If the recipe doesn't get changed back to what it was originally and got all the customers hooked I will not be returning as a customer. I will have to go find a new place that has delicious matcha instead. I know something changed because the worker told me it's not sweet and asked if I wanted to add sweetener. I have never been asked that ever. I'm sad that the matcha today wasn't what it was last time I went. I hope you can hear enough of us out about this. Last time I went I ordered a mazapán latte and a matcha latte. I've had the mazapán latte there before and it was really good. It had pieces of mazapán in it. This time it just tasted like all they did was add cinnamon syrup. It was so sweet and cinnamon tasting. It didn't taste like mazapán at all. The iced matcha latte was so sweet and fishy tasting. When using a bad quality matcha it could taste fishy so I assume they're just using a cheap matcha. The line is usually out the door and there's usually only 2 or 3 people working at a time. You'll have to wait for them to finish making previous orders until they make your order. You can order online but they'll charge you and extra fee for ordering online. They also charge extra for different milks and different flavors. It's really expensive for what it is read more
