Always love coming here when visiting my family. The drive is long, but I always look forward to sharing a coffee and frappe with my wife. I turned away from Starbucks a while ago because I prefer to shop small any time I can. The prices are pretty average for what seems to be a small locally owned business, but the amount you get for what you pay for is stellar. The barista is always very kind and patient with the new drinks I want to try, and makes suggestions that have ended in a s'mores frappe more than once to get me through the drive home as the drinks stay good in the fridge! I'd 100% recommend it over any other place around. I'll be visiting again soon! read more

NOT WORTH IT! I'm sorry but $8.50 for a medium basic coffee is crazy! A medium coffee at Starbucks costs me about $6.00 with tax! Same size same flavor. as Someone who used to work at coffee shops this place has no taste. I feel like this place is only for people who have extra money and have no real taste in good coffee beans. first time and last. I rather drive 20minuted to lobo coffee shop in Lancaster than buy a coffee from this place again And the hours are so dumb smh. To the white lady in white glasses nothing against you but please have a better attitude next time and maybe buy better coffee beans. The service was lovely. It clearly looks like a drive thru but as a first time guest i walked up to the front door to walk in to read their menu, door is locked so drive thru only! Woman working guided me to the window & generously walked me through the menu & offered drink recommendations after i asked her favorites. The coffee itself is tasty but a little sweet for me! It seems their large has 2 shots of espresso in this drink i paid $9.50 total. However i am excited to come back to try the barista's recommendation because she said she likes more espresso in her drink so thats the drink i need to hop on to! read more

I will pay extra and drive further to support a local business, but unfortunately the coffee here is mediocre and the prices here are outrageous. I decided to grab a quick coffee here before heading to Lancaster to run an errand. When the woman behind the drive up window wasn't present at first and then appeared with an indifferent attitude we should have just kept driving, but were pressed for time and decided to give it a shot since there isn't coffee for miles and there wasn't a line. I should have paid closer attention to the menu that was hard to read from the passenger's seat, because my medium drink - a vanilla oatmilk latte - was a whopping $8 (not including tip)! Yes, you read that right. And here's the icing on the cake - if your order isn't at least $8 they tack on a $1 charge just to pay with a card. As if being gouged $1.75 for oatmilk isn't bad enough. Sheeesh. Sadly, the coffee wasn't worth half of what I paid for and I ended up tossing it midway through. With coffee, prices, and service like I experienced I don't see them lasting long once the Starbucks is finished being built down the street. Good luck Sister Sister. I won't be back. read more

I bought a latte and muffin from here, and I was not impressed. The muffin's taste and texture reminded me of some low quality muffin you would find at a gas station. And the latte was virtually tasteless. Well, I take that back. It tasted like some warm milk, period. And to add insult to injury, the prices were pretty high. My partner and I were in town for a few days and needed some caffeine & we wanted to try the local coffee spot.. he found this place and it's so much better than Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Dunkin and even Dutch bros !!!! Super rich flavor in the cacao beans, which in turn makes for flavorful medium/dark roast, highly recommend you try the Americano or the White Chocolate/Mocha! The coffee is strong and tasty and worth every penny! It is fairly priced compared to other coffee chains, especially for the strength this places offers a variety of sugar free syrups and even custom cold foam!! The service is delightful, I did not catch the young woman's name but she has a cheerful, sweet demeanor about her. I felt a little guilt because there's a tip jar that says "Money is the root of all evil, give it all to us" but we don't normally carry cash.. to make up for it though we came back the next day and bought two drinks each Lastly I can't say much about the ambiance because we went through the drive through both visits, however the second time I did happen to notice the inside portion of the coffee shop... it's a small shop but it seems homey & comforting. read more

I went back to discuss the $2.25 over-charge with your workers and they were flat out rude. They told me raising labor costs and inflation were the reason for the higher prices. I've had a mocha in Socialist Seattle (Dilettante Mocha Café - Kent Station, to be exact) and it was still cheaper than a mocha at Sister Sister in Rosamond. Thanks for offering me a refund on Yelp but refusing to honor in real-life. Your employee walked away from me while I was explaining (the girl with the curly hair) and the man took over and made excuses and tried to make it seem like I had vision and hearing challenges when I ordered my my mocha. Stopped at Sister Sister on our road trip to Death Valley National Park, finding good espresso (coffee) with dairy alternatives on a road trip can often be tough leaving the dreaded Starbucks as your only choice. Service was friendly at Sister Sister although they have a drive thru line and we walked in, so we waited for them to take several orders at the window before being helped. My sister and I both had almond lattes. I tried their Toasted Marshmallow sugar free flavoring (and I never do this flavored stuff) but couldn't pass this one up and my sister had the Coconut flavor - both were tasty! We also purchased a slice of pumpkin bread and coffee cake, both were refrigerated, but good - later in the day the pumpkin warmed up but was a tad dry. I've ordered from here 3 times. The first time I was very impressed and even recommended it to a few of my friends. The second time, I felt my iced coffee was very watered down and unfortunately I threw it away after one drink. I decided to try it a third time this morning. My cappuccino was very good however when I paid I was told my total was $5.75 and I just checked my bank statement and they charged me $7.25. I know it's just $1.50 but I'm confused on why I was charged more. I'm not sure if it happened on my first two trips either. However the staff are very nice and I honestly would buy from them again. Being from Orange County, there's a lot of different coffee houses to sample but less than a dozen can compare to this place. The billboard on the side of the freeway was what lead me to do a quick yelp and google check to determine if it was worth the pitstop on our road trip and let me just say...F**K YEAH IT WAS! We got 2 flavored lattes with oat milk: Toasted Marshmallow and White Mocha. The coffee was perfect! The flavors were not overly sweet at all and did not drown out the flavor of coffee. The over all mixture of the flavoring, coffee and creamer was a smooth blend. We travel through to the Tehachapi mountains about once a month and we have found a new place to always stop before we get there.
