LOVE this place! Highly, highly recommend. The staff is so kind and friendly, and the food and drinks are some of the best I've had in the area. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, with plenty of spaced out tables (so I didn't crammed in with tons of other people like Starbucks does sometimes). Parking is ample and around back. This was my second time here (I came back remembering how good my coffee was the first time). I was hungry, but wasn't sure what I wanted to order, so the very kind man behind the counter made a couple of recommendations (and it was so, so helpful!) This ham, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich was SO good. The bagels are handmade (and enormous!) They were so soft and delicious! They added tomato per my request and didn't even charge me extra. The coffee was cold and refreshing on this hot summer day, and it was so well balanced and not overly sweet, which I appreciate! I was out running errands and wanted a coffee and a sandwich. I found Cafe Antigua on Yelp and decided to give them a try. The place is very clean, decorated well, and very welcoming! The gentleman behind the counter welcomed me in and I told him it was my first time there. He showed me the menu, told me their bagels were made fresh everyday, and walked me through their coffee items. I decided to try their horchata latte and the turkey and bacon everything bagel. I expressed to him that I like strong coffee with slight sweetness he said he would adjust the sweetness of the latte so it wasn't sweet. This man was not kidding. He made me the most perfect latte! It is heaven in a cup. Next time I'm trying their Chocolate Abuelita latte. I tried the bagel sandwich when I got home and O-M-G! The salty bacon and turkey with the fresh tomato and lettuce complemented by their chipotle mayo on a perfectly toasted everything bagel was *chef's kiss* I spoke with the gentleman about their business and he mentioned they're on Instagram and TikTok. I will be following them on both platforms. They're currently doing a toy drive and on the 20th (I believe this month), they're having a fund raiser for a Sacred Heart (I believe it's for a church). I will definitely be back! I can't wait to try more items on their menu and to bring friends with me. read more

Y'all, let me tell you. I was a little apprehensive about trying their speciality fall drinks, specifically their Pumpkin Chai Latte, but oh my gosh I'm SO glad I decided to get it. The pumpkin and chai flavors are so well balanced and they go so well together! I also love how sweet the drink is Even though their coffee is a little pricey (about $8 for a 16oz) I still think it was well worth it. I've been trying different coffee shops in the AV instead of going to Starbucks or Dutch Bros and this by far is my favorite now. My sister's co worker recently brought some bagels to a holiday brunch & the whole office loved them so I've been dying to try them myself! Parking kinda sucks, it was hard to find any spots that weren't reserved for residents. Quality 10/10 you can definitely tell everything is fresh & for a reasonable price! The frappe was alil strong, I thought it would've been lighter but that's my fault I should've ask for only 1 shot of espresso instead of the standard 2 shots. I've been coming here for some time and I really like their sandwiches and drinks! good pricing and ambience over all. Though, lately I've been getting on and off service and it's been bothering me and my partner enough to not consider coming anymore. Typically everyone is kind, but I've been receiving weird attitudes lately. I always order the exact same thing, yet, they complicate it every time and/or give me the wrong thing. I order a turkey BLT on a croissant (no changes) and milk-free drinks. I've ordered my usual and received a breakfast sandwhich on a croissant once and i didn't know until i got home (super sad about that one). I also ask if certain smoothies can be made without milk (i know they can because they used to be made that way) and they'll give me a hard time about it every time, but accept anyway. It's the same people that have taken every order as well but they make it seem they've never heard of the requests I make. Today I at least received a really sour attitude after they misunderstood what I was asking for (again) and made a small fit over fixing it. I work food service so it really bothers me when places do this. I already try to be mindful and am kind/understanding, and even tip when it's a to-go order! I know what it's like to work a place like this, and I would not go about it that way personally. Again, I'm just disappointed with service lately. (Response: I try to be clear with requests to avoid confusion. We asked for smoothies made with water instead of milk, not refreshers. We know what refreshers are. And the mistaken sandwich was something we could not fix since we had not known until we got home. That is partially on us. Thank you for the reply, but this is not the first time. Tried this cafe for the first time and it's NOT disappointing ordered turkey sandwiches croissants and the breakfast sandwich croissants and it was good , the macchiato caramelado Is good but I think needs more improvement just a little added of sweetness will make it better for me, we ordered on door dash. I can't believe it took me so long to go here! My favorite café in the AV and it's so close to home. I'm so delighted :) The staff is incredibly warm and friendly. The food is all very affordable with a reasonably short wait time considering the quality of food. The café itself is very nicely decorated. I recommend this café to everyone I know now I haven't explored the vegetarian options too much as I usually get something light à la bagel & cream cheese on jalapeno bread (SO YUMMY) so I'll have to update my review once I do BTW, best matcha in town. Came here for food and coffee, at first our order got mixed up (I think it was a miscommunication and lack of options via DoorDash) however! The staff made sure it was all cleared up and ready for us to enjoy! Got to say we highly appreciate the customer service. Then getting to enjoy the food and drinks just put the cherry on top!
