Came here as the second stop of an afternoon brewery crawl. I really enjoyed the Scout Helles lager that I had. Service was friendly and the sun-filled seating area was the perfect spot to relax with friends on a chilly day. They also have an AMAZING Rush-themed pinball game. You can change the songs that it plays so it took me back to sitting in my basement in the early 80's listening to "Limelight", "Tom Sawyer" and "Spirit of Radio". This is right by the New Bern station off the light rail so you can easily get here without driving.

Came here for a book fair. The space was really nice with lots of outdoor seating. Indoor area was also really nice with lots of activities. The food was amazing. The flavor of the pulled pork was phenomenal and the chicken sandwich was solid. Definitely be back.

Couldn't be happier that I decided to stop on in here as this brewery was a super fun time! Of the brews I went with a Tap Tap and let me say it was a perfect West Coast IPA as it had that perfect hop profile that I dig and love as I'm very familiar with this style IPA as I'm from California so it just took me back home for a bit making for a super yummy brew from start to finish! This brewery was chill as right as we walked in we were greeted and asked what we liked me never have been here before I just grabbed my go to an IPA so that right there just made me smile! Overall we only stopped in for a drink but I really enjoyed the whole vibe here if I lived in the area I'd totally come back to visit again and again but who knows when I'll make it back to Charlotte but let's just say that if I do it will definitely involve a Triple C visit!

    Chicken shawarma over fries (bites)

Came to triple c because Izzy menu said crinkle cut fries with shawarma chicken. Fries weren't crinkled but overall dish was good. Annoyed cause i was in a picky mood for crinkle. Would recommend going to the truck to order if you're feeling picky

Enjoyed a quick beer while visiting Charlotte. Outdoor space is super cute, but is best for those with kids. The inside has a more adult vibe, and is dog friendly. Great selection of beer. Was pleased to have two sours to choose from. Had the seasonal, Cranberry Orange Crumble Sherbet. Light, fruity and extremely crushable. They also have a food truck full-time onsite, which I always appreciate with a brewery. Def recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the area.

I feel bad that I've let nearly ten years pass (and 17,000 reviews!) before returning to Triple C. Ten years is quite a while and it's time to update. Arriving at around 4:30, I studied the beer menu and landed on the Bier, a German-style Pilsner. Poured into the proper glassware, this beer was excellent. Crisp, light and clean. Perfect Pilsner. I sat for a bit, wifi'ed for a bit, got some food from the food truck and generally had a pleasant evening. Izzy's is dedicated for Triple C and has a menu including pizza, chicken sandwiches, a beef burger, grilled veggie pita, chicken wings, nachos and fries. I got the fries with the beer cheese sauce. I left as the trivia was getting started. I know people love trivia. I do not and so that was my cue to depart. This is a great brewery and I promise, it won't be ten years until I'm back! Unique! Beer and HARD SODA! Outside patio was nice . Check it out. They have flights of beer to try all the flavors.

Good brews - the Carolina Blue Sky Sherbet is my fave. It's a sour but not *too* sour. They also sell it canned in the refrigerator if being around so many dogs and people with children is too much for you to handle. And it can be, I get it. It's the perfect spot for a laid back hang sesh with friends. I might've been one of 3-4 people of color, but that's no big deal when you're used to that at South End breweries lol. Izzy's food truck is on site. Everyone was raving about the wings but I'm not completely sold. Def get the chicken thigh nachos though.

You can find Triple C Brewing at 2900 Griffith St Charlotte, NC 28203 - this is in the Southside where you'll find a handful of newish breweries - reminds me of the Beltline breweries in Atlanta with many within easy walking distance. We ended up parking on the street but there were several pay lots. I'm not quite sure how long this brewery has been here but it appear to have an established following - the interior is chic industrial with a mix of modern fixtures and reclaimed wood in the taphouse. A glass wall allows viewing of the brewhouse with bright stainless steel tanks. It's mostly tall tables with the bar more for ordering than seating. There are also several tables outside on the lawn and patio with umbrellas so it felt very open and welcoming. Tried a handful of beers - this was our first stop after a beer festival - we probably should have looked for food but this looked promising so here we are - I'm glad we dropped in. For beer I had the following: Just a Lil' Thicc Stout 6.1% - 3.7/5 Fairly easy drinking stout with notes of citrus and smoky chocolate, finishing well balanced hoppy and a touch floral. Toasted Imperial BA Stout 9.4% - 4.2/5 Was hoping for more barrel on this, you get a hint of oak otherwise this is a sweet smores stout with chocolate, coconut and vanilla, finishing creamy and a bit sticky marshmallow. Neon Limes Lager 5.7% - 3.5/5 - Crisp lager with fairly neutral malt body with a bit of tartness and lime on the nose. Very refreshing. Rainbow Sherbet Berliner Weisse 4.2% - 4/5 Quite a tasty fruited sour on the verge of being thick bodied, otherwise bright with notes of tart raspberry and lime, slightly creamy body finishing with sweet pineapple and vanilla - almost registers like pineapple upside down cake. In all the experience was quite good with knowledgeable taproom staff willing to answer questions and little wait. The beer menu only had a few items to entice me as I generally gravitate towards sours, stouts and Belgian brews, but I liked everything I tried.

    Up all night porter.

Nice little place. Friendly staff. Good beer. Would definitely go back! Many many bars walking distance on the same street.

We liked Triple C! We stopped by for the first time recently and decided to try a couple of flights. I love ordering flights when visiting a brewery for the first time because you are able to sample several beers without committing to an entire pint. The bartender was nice and helpful with finding some beer that we might like. I enjoyed the Sweet Cream and Neon Limes the best. Neon Limes is a really refreshing summer time beer, nice and light. There is a large case of refrigerated canned beer. Great spot to grab and go. The parking situation is terrible. The interior is typical brewery atmosphere and they are very dog friendly here! I like the location and we'll be back to try some more flavors soon.

Attended a food and wine festival hosted in their barrel room across the street and in their parking lot. Beautiful brewery with plenty of seats and shade. Parking can be a challenge though because their lot is small and parking on surrounding streets can be nonexistent depending on time of day. But nothing an Uber ride can't fix. While I was there was able to meet recording artist Anthony Hamilton...day was beautiful and the event turned out wonderful.

    Taylor B.

Very easy to find, parking in the lot and on the street, dog friendly inside and outside. Nice spacious area to sit. Inside is a bit small, but still space to sit down. Service is friendly, menu is diverse, and the Baby Maker IPA is amazing! Very chill, laid back atmosphere.

    Red Headed Step Manager....SO good.

That was just half a day in, so naturally, I started feeling like Charlotte had passed me a note, "I like you, stay longer." The one thing I failed to respect was the Carolina summer sun. I desperately needed a hat. Sure, I could have gone to Target or the bike shop I passed earlier, but any civilized man knows the best place to buy a cap is a brewery. Untappd pointed me toward one of the most popular breweries in a city full of popular breweries: Burial Beer Co. Since I was driving, I kept things responsible and sampled taster-sized pours, spacing them out with non-alcoholic mocktails and 0.0 beer like a grown man who still wanted to remember where he parked. Burial also offers cocktails, ICEEs, low-ABV session beers, THC beverages, wine, and self-serve water. The menu helps you navigate the offerings with color-coded sections: cocktails in blue, light-bodied beers in neon green, dark ales in orange, and high-ABV options in pink. Food isn't available onsite, but delivery gets the green light. I grabbed a corner seat at the bar, not because I wanted to brood, but because the post-brunch crowd had arrived in full force with babies, buddies, and dogs. Every bartender and guest I spoke with treated me like I had wandered into a neighborhood clubhouse instead of a brewery. They gave recommendations, bought me a drink, and one even helped me pick out a hat. Southern hospitality is alive and well at Burial Beer Co., a place that turned a shopping trip into a welcome party, proving that Charlotte knows how to beat the heat with good pours, good people, and better merch.

HUGE thank you to Legion…read more Our company, Opkalla, held its big team Midyear dinner at Legion last night (which I'm responsible for planning), and I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience planning with Gabby, through the event itself for about 50 people. Before I even get into the event itself though, none of it would've been possible without Gabby being such an absolute joy to work with throughout all of the planning leading up to it. During the planning phase she made my life about 100 times easier instead of harder, which is saying something because that's definitely not always the case with venues and I've experienced the other side of that coin elsewhere! From the second we arrived, we were treated with genuine attention and enthusiasm (not to mention, HUSTLE!) I was running around so much all day that I can't believe I'm blanking on a couple of the girls' names now...I remember Kayla's name specifically for some reason...but EVERY single server, bartender, etc working our event was absolutely AMAZING. (As an aside, I worked in hospitality for years, so I know firsthand how much goes into pulling off a private event like ours. Legion's team last night made the entire evening seem effortless.) Drinks were flowing and refilled so quickly, everyone was constantly checking in with me to see if we needed anything, the food was fantastic, and while I didn't catch his name in the middle of all the celebrating, the steak carver you assigned to our event was such a great guy too and SO wonderful with our team. I genuinely can't find the right -- or enough -- words to explain how impressed I was with the entire experience, from the planning process all the way through the end of the night. This was probably the first large team event I've been responsible for, whether at Opkalla or any previous company, where I actually got to relax at times during the event and almost felt like a guest instead of just the planner!! You have no idea how refreshing that was. (Not that I would've minded running around putting out fires if I had to; that occasionally just comes with the territory and was definitely the case earlier that day prior to Legion!) Legion handled everything so seamlessly that I barely had to do any "work" during the event beyond enjoying the evening and checking in with our team. It was obvious everyone had everything they needed, and even more obvious that everyone was having an absolute blast. Thank you again for making this such an incredible experience. It was truly one of the smoothest, most enjoyable events I've ever been a part of, and that's a huge credit to Legion's events team and serving/bartending staff. I can't wait to work with them again for future events, and to recommend them to others I know who are often in need of event venues! THANK YOU AGAIN, GABBY AND LEGION!
