A few years have passed since I last visited South Park and I was lucky to have free morning to get some shopping in. Shopping is much better while dosed up on coffee so we figured we should try out this coffee shop. Upon entrance, I really enjoyed the moody atmosphere in the shop. Everything was clean and organized which is a huge plus. The staff was kind and patient in assisting us with ordering. I opted to get a Banana Bread Cold Brew which mixes one of my favorite fruits, with my favorite type of coffee. It was delicious is kept me going while I was shopping. The whole brewery looks incredible and fosters an environment which people seem to enjoy themselves. The coffee shop was all I needed but hopefully I get to go back and see the rest of the brewery at some point. read more

Someone finally capitalized on the brilliant idea of opening a brewery in SouthPark Mall, and the results are so impressive you'll wonder why this wasn't a thing 5 years ago. Set in a fun, airy space next to the mall's outdoor plaza, Suffolk Punch serves up delicious beers, terrific cocktails and tasty grub that makes it a great destination for just about any occasion. In between mall errands, grab a table or a barstool and dive into a Hot Chicken Sammy or Pepperoni Flatbread, paired with a flavorful Joyride IPA, Daydream Lager or another brew from their extensive selection. The menu also has shareable apps, salads and burgers, along with a wide variety of wines and cocktails. Service has been excellent on all our visits, and there's ample seating inside and out. The huge covered patio can get a little steamy in the summer, but is a joy in cooler weather. And the younger kids can burn off their energy on the adjacent playground while you and your spouse tip back a few drinks. We had an impromptu brunch at this location yesterday. Very impressed! Even though this restaurant is attached to the mall, it doesn't feel like it is in the mall. The patio is very spacious and has a bar. The inside has a huge bar as well. Service was fantastic! The food was very good as well. I only took a pic of the whipped ricotta. We also got the Parm fries and the Morning Classic croissant with sausage. Everything was excellent! They have $15 mimosa carafes on Saturday. Great deal! read more

This was my second attempt at this place. My first attempt, I was unable to find a host and I was unable to find anyone to help me be seated. My second attempt was today. I'm unsure if I was missing any signs about where the host stand was. I entered through the cafe this time. I was really lost, the baristas seemed to avoid eye contact. And I mistook someone cleaning a table for a potential host. I walked back outside and there was a second entrance, deeper in the restaurant the host stand was located across the bar. The host did not greet us and she looked annoyed. We ended up sitting in the back corner next to a dirty table that was left messy for 30+ minutes we placed our order for drinks and a pretzel. We were half way finished with our pretzel before we got our drinks. I saw our mimosa die at the bar, it was hot outside and the doors were open. By the time we got it, it was warm. The latte was very good I love hex coffee's brand. Our server was kind, but she was unavailable and sent other people to check on us and didn't bring us the bill herself either. Stopped by Suffolk near the food court side of SouthPark Mall and tried the chicken Caesar wrap and the chopped salad. The chopped salad was definitely the highlight for me -- I especially liked the crispy breadcrumbs on top that added a nice crunch and texture, as well as the chipotle ranch dressing. The dressing was generously mixed in, which I personally enjoyed since I like my salads on the heavier side with dressing, but if you prefer a lighter salad you may want to ask for the dressing on the side. Ordered several drinks from the bar as well as a few non alcoholic drinks. Asked five (not an exaggeration!!) different servers to check on the non alcoholic drinks. Not one checked. No silverware, napkins, plates, etc. with the food. Had to go get all that - and the milk - ourselves at the bar. Beer was lukewarm. Place was filthy - food and trash all over the floor, dirty tables. Food also wasn't great. Weird bruschetta with cheese and tomatoes on burnt bread with a sour taste. Cheese for the pretzel was congealed before it even reached the table. Been here several times and keep hoping they'll work out the food and service issues. Fantastic spot. I had some visitors in from Japan and they really wanted to go to the SouthPark Mall to get some shopping done. We popped in here for a mid-shopping break. They have a pretty good variety of beers. I wish they had more dark beer options. We didn't get any food. But the setting is great. Wide open community type seating. The breakfast sandwich was satisfying without being overly heavy. But the real star? The truffle fries Crispy, golden, and dusted with just the right amount of truffle and Parmesan in a light sauce. addictive--I'm still craving them. They could honestly be a meal on their own. Walking around South Park Mall and needed a pick me up. This spot is located in the Dining Pavilion (Food Court) area. It has a coffee bar area, bar area, and restaurant seating area. Such a fun spot!! They have coffee- many different options including seasonal ones! I've gotten a blueberry matcha, apple cold brew and caramel latte and they have all been amazing! The coffee is a tad pricy but I guess that's any coffee shop now-a-days! They also have a full bar and a full menu of salads and sandwiches. The drinks are tasty and so is the food. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating on an insulated patio with fans and heaters, as well as seating outside. They have tons of TV's always playing sports and a huge TV outside with kids things on. It is also right next to the playground. This makes it very kid friendly!! It's very spacious and huge. They have a ton of individual bathrooms in the back and the one all the way on the end has a changing table in it (which you don't always find!) It's located at the mall but you don't need to go inside the mall to access it. And there is plenty of mall parking. There is a QR code on each table to scan and you can order from this code. I like that because you can order whenever you want and don't have to wait for a server! We don't see a server much because of this, although we really didn't need one. The food and drinks come out fast too. Although they don't brew the beer at this location, they have all the options including a full bar. We will definitely go back many times! read more

Nice little restaurant at the South Park mall ... next to a little playground for kids. Suffolk has indoor and outdoor covered dining spaces. Limited but interesting menu items, and a great list of beer items. All ages welcome, and suitable for strollers. If there was a downside it was that everything was sticky ... the floor, the tables, etc. And the bathrooms ... tiny little places ... we're filthy with water on the floors. This brewery is in a large mall. So parking is easy! It has indoor and outdoor seating and is very dog friendly. You order off a QR code and the delivery of the beer and food is very fast! I've been here a couple of times - once for brunch and another for a work team outing. If you're looking for a traditional brunch menu, this place might not be for you. I did not enjoy the order I had when I came for brunch, which is why Suffolk Punch SouthPark loses a star for me. Other than that, this location is good for families/kid-friendly. There are also rooms you can book if you are coming with a large party or event like when I was there for the work outing. During the work dinner, I had the chicken caprese sandwich. This is pretty hard to mess up but I did enjoy that the chicken breast wasn't too dry or overdone. I would ask for more mozzarella next time though. All in all would recommend stopping in if you're looking for a standard bar bites and shareable menu. read more

It's also a great place to eat when the sun is out and the crowd is a mix of employees from the offices nearby and families. We ate there last night. We had to ask for our appetizer and it came out 2 minutes later and then our food came out 3 minutes after that. No one came by to check on us, and we had to pay and tip for food before we received it. The coleslaw was so hot as in spicy, we did not eat. We had to get our own water utensils and Togo box. Great first visit to SPB! We had the American burger, the kids chicken tenders/fries and kids grilled cheese with fries. The burger was "fine". The side salad was great quality but was mostly apples and little kale....maybe it's mixed up in a big batch and when they scooped out a serving, it just so happened to get all the apples? the hand battered tenders and the grilled cheese on the sourdough roll were fantastic BUT THE FRIES!!! We popped in here after a day of shopping at the mall. It is really loud outside which is expected due to the play areas. I love that's it's family centered especially at the mall. The inside was a bit more intimate. We didn't have the food this time, just a hazy IPA which was delicious. The bar staff was friendly and fast as well. Had a dinner with friends here on a Wednesday night. They were doing good business with large groups out for the holidays. We sat in their "outdoors" area, fully enclosed for the winter. It was very comfortable and spread out. Lots of kids running around without bumping in to folks. You use the QR code on your table to order and pay. It was pretty self explanatory and drinks came very quickly once they were ordered. Our group of four all ordered via app at the same time. Everyone else's food came at the same time. Mine came significantly later, most of my party was done with their food when my sandwich came out. I had the grilled chicken caprese sandwich. And it...wasn't good. It wasn't bad either. My main complaint is that there was so much condiment that the bottom bun disintegrated on the first lift-up. I ate the rest with a folk and knife. For everything that's on there, it actually lacked some flavor. For $18, I wanted more. I'd go back to this location for beers but might not get food next time. read more
