    Whipped Ricotta

We had an impromptu brunch at this location yesterday. Very impressed! Even though this restaurant is attached to the mall, it doesn't feel like it is in the mall. The patio is very spacious and has a bar. The inside has a huge bar as well. Service was fantastic! The food was very good as well. I only took a pic of the whipped ricotta. We also got the Parm fries and the Morning Classic croissant with sausage. Everything was excellent! They have $15 mimosa carafes on Saturday. Great deal!

This was my second attempt at this place. My first attempt, I was unable to find a host and I was unable to find anyone to help me be seated. My second attempt was today. I'm unsure if I was missing any signs about where the host stand was. I entered through the cafe this time. I was really lost, the baristas seemed to avoid eye contact. And I mistook someone cleaning a table for a potential host. I walked back outside and there was a second entrance, deeper in the restaurant the host stand was located across the bar. The host did not greet us and she looked annoyed. We ended up sitting in the back corner next to a dirty table that was left messy for 30+ minutes we placed our order for drinks and a pretzel. We were half way finished with our pretzel before we got our drinks. I saw our mimosa die at the bar, it was hot outside and the doors were open. By the time we got it, it was warm. The latte was very good I love hex coffee's brand. Our server was kind, but she was unavailable and sent other people to check on us and didn't bring us the bill herself either. Everything felt so disjointed. I wish the experience was better.

Stopped by Suffolk near the food court side of SouthPark Mall and tried the chicken Caesar wrap and the chopped salad. The chopped salad was definitely the highlight for me -- I especially liked the crispy breadcrumbs on top that added a nice crunch and texture, as well as the chipotle ranch dressing. The dressing was generously mixed in, which I personally enjoyed since I like my salads on the heavier side with dressing, but if you prefer a lighter salad you may want to ask for the dressing on the side. The chicken Caesar wrap was okay overall -- not bad. The atmosphere was really chill and relaxed, making it a nice spot to grab lunch, have a drink, or even get some work done for a bit.

    Breakfast sandwich

Stopped by Suffolk Punch Brewing for brunch and left happy (and still thinking the fries days later). I had the breakfast sandwich and truffle fries, and both were on point. The breakfast sandwich was satisfying without being overly heavy. But the real star? The truffle fries Crispy, golden, and dusted with just the right amount of truffle and Parmesan in a light sauce. addictive--I'm still craving them. They could honestly be a meal on their own. The vibe at Suffolk Punch is laid-back, family friendly. Great beer and coffee options, too, if you're in the mood to pair your brunch with something caffeinated or a little boozy. Definitely adding this to my regular brunch rotation.

The pimento cheeseburger was phenomenal. Cheese covered the entire patty and was falling off, both patties were smashed, and it was just overall such a great burger, that I'll definitely have again. The fries were pretty crunchy and tasted as they look.

Brewery/Bar/Kitchen--great concept and their beers are great! I recommend their sour, along with the delicious food! Chicken Cesar Wrap and a bowl of chili . Service was slow but nice!

    Blackened Mahi Tacos

Stopped in for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Service was good. No complaints there. I decided to go with the Blackened Mahi tacos. Very good tacos indeed. Only drawback is they seemed to have some grease or oil on the tortilla under them. They did provide two tortillas for each taco so it was not a deal breaker. Just one tortilla I didn't eat. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other options.

Absolutely a great place to spend a sunny Saturday. Great drinks and food, dog friendly on the patio, and plenty of seating. You order yourself with a QR code at all the tables. Super easy and convenient.

Zero regrets. This is also a wonderful place to take friends or family visiting from out of town. Now they are part that too with a bunch of apps, wings, burgers, etc. I got my usual flight (theirs has 5 beers...wooohooo!) which consisted of a vanilla coffee blonde, a Mexican Lager, a Helles, an IPA and a hazy pale ale. All of them were really good with the hazy pale ale and the vanilla coffee blonde being my favorites. Cool art of the Wooden Robot could be found throughout the brewery. My only regret is that I didn't buy a t-shirt.

HUGE thank you to Legion…read more Our company, Opkalla, held its big team Midyear dinner at Legion last night (which I'm responsible for planning), and I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience planning with Gabby, through the event itself for about 50 people. Before I even get into the event itself though, none of it would've been possible without Gabby being such an absolute joy to work with throughout all of the planning leading up to it. During the planning phase she made my life about 100 times easier instead of harder, which is saying something because that's definitely not always the case with venues and I've experienced the other side of that coin elsewhere! From the second we arrived, we were treated with genuine attention and enthusiasm (not to mention, HUSTLE!) I was running around so much all day that I can't believe I'm blanking on a couple of the girls' names now...I remember Kayla's name specifically for some reason...but EVERY single server, bartender, etc working our event was absolutely AMAZING. (As an aside, I worked in hospitality for years, so I know firsthand how much goes into pulling off a private event like ours. Legion's team last night made the entire evening seem effortless.) Drinks were flowing and refilled so quickly, everyone was constantly checking in with me to see if we needed anything, the food was fantastic, and while I didn't catch his name in the middle of all the celebrating, the steak carver you assigned to our event was such a great guy too and SO wonderful with our team. I genuinely can't find the right -- or enough -- words to explain how impressed I was with the entire experience, from the planning process all the way through the end of the night. This was probably the first large team event I've been responsible for, whether at Opkalla or any previous company, where I actually got to relax at times during the event and almost felt like a guest instead of just the planner!! You have no idea how refreshing that was. (Not that I would've minded running around putting out fires if I had to; that occasionally just comes with the territory and was definitely the case earlier that day prior to Legion!) Legion handled everything so seamlessly that I barely had to do any "work" during the event beyond enjoying the evening and checking in with our team. It was obvious everyone had everything they needed, and even more obvious that everyone was having an absolute blast. Thank you again for making this such an incredible experience. It was truly one of the smoothest, most enjoyable events I've ever been a part of, and that's a huge credit to Legion's events team and serving/bartending staff. I can't wait to work with them again for future events, and to recommend them to others I know who are often in need of event venues! THANK YOU AGAIN, GABBY AND LEGION!

Lots of families with kids dining around us, seemed like a very kid friendly place. We started with the pretzel rolls, which came warm in a small cast iron skillet with sides of beer cheese, pimento cheese, and mustard. They were good but I thought seemed a little overpriced at $8 for only 4 small rolls. The Juicy Jay chicken salad was phenomenal. The server said it was his favorite thing on the menu and I can definitely see why! Can't speak to the drinks as we were having a sober evening but they had beer, wine, and cocktails on the menu.
