Really helpful-- I had a flat tire on a Sunday, and no other places were open. They helped me right away so I could get back on the road.

Dropped my truck off at 8 AM and told I was gonna be priority, spent $3000 on tires. Called two hours later and they told me 30 more minutes, showed up at the shop was told again 30 more minutes. Waited another hour walked outside to look at my truck and saw that they only had one tire put on out of four. They were shortstaffed, which I totally understand, but then communicate properly with me, don't tell me 30 minutes when you know it's clearly gonna take longer. After waiting until 1230 had to literally tell them to just put the tires in the back of my truck and I was going to take them somewhere else because they were struggling so hard. If your machine can't handle the job, you shouldn't have taken our business in the first place. I'm not sure what the point of having an appointment is if you're gonna keep taking walk-in clients in front of us, pushing us back further and further when we spent so much money with you. That shows me they care more about volume and getting as many people in as possible than doing quality work. Went to discount tire in Cottonwood, the one tire that was put on they said properly was not, and the valve was leaking. Discount tire got the job done in an hour, and charged way less. Again, this review could've been way different. If everyone would've just communicated properly and said listen we are short staffed and we're struggling with our machines so it's gonna take us a few hours. Had a job to do in Phoenix and lost it because of how long they took.

The inspections they perform are also unmatched. Providing their findings and recommendations using pictures and organized categories based on priority is very helpful when it comes to making decisions. I Yelped for quotes on alternator repair; CBA was one of the providers Yelp suggested. I don't…read morerecommend them. Period. Summary: Cost -- 30% - 50% higher higher than other providers. Communication -- slow to respond, several instances of completely ignoring my contacts / questions. They didn't offer critical info / details when it should have been provided. Time Issues -- took my car in midmorning Thursday and didn't get it back until midday the following Monday. A five hour wait just to hear confirmation the problem was the alternator, which could have been provided in less than half hour. Details: COST: $1616 total for alternator replacement. $447 for remanufactured alternator. $94 for 2 gallons of antifreeze. A new alternator can be had for less (half the) money. They didn't offer / discuss any options on this choice of parts. Not typical in my experience. There's a spectrum of quality and cost on any auto part, so usually parts choice usually involves a discussion. Nope, the topic of choices didn't come up. They'll likely say the couldn't offer their "3 year warranty" on a cheaper part. Blah blah blah. Ask me if there's choices on what it costs me, don't assume. And $94 for 2 gallons of coolant?!? It's currently $10 / gal. from Walmart. So, a 400% markup? This gets to me because it's so obvious a gouging. It makes me wonder -- Where else I'm being gouged that's not something I can readily see??? Anyway, let's review CBA website where it's gushing about having my "best interests in mind", shall we? A 400% mark-up is needlessly not in my best interests. Anyway, from other shops I got repair estimates (parts + labor) ranging from mid-$700's to $1100. Brakes Plus quoted me (in person -- after the fact) "out the door" of $868. So, yeah, I got gouged going with CBA. COMMUNICATION: Besides the Yelp project no responses, my texting with them (at their promoting me to text any questions) was unsatisfactory. Unprompt responses, no responses to at least half my my texts. Ignoring a question altogether? Sheesh. TIME ISSUES: They were all over me checking in my car ASAP, which ended up being 10:30. 'They'd do the diagnostic and get back with me.' Well, my timeline experience with repair like this: Tech plugs in the code reader, gets the codes, looks up them. 10 minutes for that. Lookup parts + labor costs. 10 more minutes? Gives me a call. If it's reasonable, I approve it and they start the work. Tech calls me if there's something else to discuss / suggest. We talk it over, but meanwhile the repair doesn't get put off. But with CBS an hour after the check-in (they were in a helpful hurry to do), I texted them. "Are you sending the diagnosis?" 30 minutes later: "Yes'. Well, FIVE hours after check-in, they finally text " your report is ready." 'Yes, it's the alternator, plus here's the diagnostic list (inferred: of everything else we want to sell you).' Service manager calls me, we review the report that LISTED NO COSTS AT ALL (yes , I'm yelling -- this is not "transparency" [a word they toss about a lot], this is manipulation). My wife and I understood him to say the cost would be $1018 or something close to that. I say something like, "Okay, do the repair. Send me a breakdown of all the other stuff. It's so close to closing time you won't get the alternator done tonight, so I have time to look over the list and see what else I might approve, right?" He agrees, "Yes, take your time." Subsequently I looked at the separate report with actual estimates. Shocking. The "$1018" was actually $1564. I made the mistake of hesitating to approve the repair, result of which bumped me behind another car. Final result -- they had my car from 10:30 on Thursday until midday on Monday -- for a 4-6 hour job. There's more I could gripe about, but I'll shut up now. Bottom line, I understand making a profit, but this profit was out of line. I will say that everyone was very pleasant to interact with. But someone can be nice to your face and still be less than competent in helping you. Someone can act friendly even while over charging you. Fun Fact: they sent me Tell Us How We Did link before they had even done the repair. I went to use the link a day or two after I had my car back. But the link had expired. I'd rather have given them a chance to address things in private but I got timed out -- in error, I'd say.

I've had the same mechanic for about 30 years (a family owned & operated shop in WA), and the thought of going somewhere else petrified me. I really needed an oil change and tire rotation and chose Grease Monkey on Bell based on Google & Yelp reviews. I was greeted right away, explained what my needs were, and Thad did his best to reassure me that I would be well taken care of, they would show me all parts before replacing, and would not try to upsell me. He also said they have bays in back with mechanics to do other work when I need it. I did need a few other things (rear brake light, wiper blades, cabin filter) and each time someone came in to get my approval. I had no idea my wiper blades would shred in the heat! If it's raining, I'm more likely to be standing outside letting it hit me in the face than going for a drive. They were very patient in getting me every discount they could. Coupon codes from the website AND a senior discount! In and out in less than an hour, including wait time to get my car in the bay. The website did mention a carwash, which they don't have at this location, but that was not a deal breaker at all. I highly recommend this location and will definitely go back when I need anything else done.

We brought it back and took more PTO. They said luckily it was under warranty. Well, it better be because that's the same part you tried to fix two days ago. And this day it's still leaks but I'm not trusting them to touch it a third time. 8/7/26 My husband's Chevy Trax had the coolant system "fixed" and we got it Friday at 5pm. It's Sunday 8/9/26 at 8:30am and our car overheats in a drive thru and we had to keep turning it off. Luckily we were a few miles from home and let it cool so we could drive instead of walking 2 miles in 100+ temps. Christian Brothers put us in a really dangerous position. When we had to get the Ford fixed for the second time that was a red flag that we should've listened to. But because we needed our overheated Trax towed, it was easiest to go with Christian Brothers. Let me tell you... Do you not take the easy way out because of the "free tow" because after $1300 our car is still not fixed and now we have to take PTO and rearrange our schedules all over again. I don't think it's a free tow anyhow; I'm sure it's added to the cost of the car services.

I…read morenormally get my oil changed at the dealership but couldn't get an appointment when I wanted so here I am. So be warned, I am very disconnected of oil change prices. To be honest, I was expecting the oil change to be $50 as I see flyers for around that price - but I rolled out of there with a $111 bill and a bit of shock. And that was with a coupon. Just for comparison last time I was at dealership I paid $154 for oil, filter, wipers, cabin filter, engine filter. When I got there 1 bay was available so I was guided in. The guy guiding me in was not the best and was obviously frustrated with me. I'll be that guy - I blame him. Throughout my life I've pulled campers and trailers and drove big vehicles in and out of the military. I am very good at maneuvering vehicles - but if you spotter doesn't know wtf they are doing and are giving bad/wrong hand-signals then you're going to be driving afoul. The bad part is that if they guide you wrong enough you'll drive into the pit. So either learn how to properly guide or offer to drive the car into the stall for the customer. Once you're in the stall they ask you what you want. At least for me, and maybe I'm going deaf, I could not properly hear what they were asking/selling. I had to have them repeat nearly everything. It may be beneficial for them to get the screen up close and talk to you more personally than to stand 5-10ft away and ask what services you want. As for the service itself, it was pretty good. It was a flurry of young folk flying around the car doing various tasks. Lots of calling when tasks are done and kind of felt like I was in a F1 pit stop. You sit in the car and wait, so no waiting room for you to chill in. The total time in the stall was maybe 15mins? Overall, service was good but... I'm going to be looking for someplace that maybe isn't as expensive. And who knows, I may be shocked that everywhere is this price.

Luckily, when I pulled up, nobody was in line, and I was able to pull right into the first bay. From the minute I pulled in these guys took care of me. I swear, four young guys swarmed the bronco and started doing their thing and within 20 or so minutes they had me ready to go. One note. I wanted them to do a tire rotation, and they couldn't because they said their lifts weren't suitable for a full-size bronco. That seems to be a miss on Valvoline's part, but other than that, I definitely would rate this location high on Customer Service and speed.
