Headed from Scottsdale, AZ to Seattle, WA. Truck statted making a humming sound. Then dashboard began flashing. We were 20 miles out of Wickenberg, AZ. My son had his transmission replaced, but his motor began to run very roughly. Took it to ORiellies for computer diagnostic that revealed a dead cylinder 6, due to a coil pack. Randy's managed to schedule time while my son was at work to replace it, the spark plug and run a more though computer diagnostic, and have the car repaired, tuned up, and even checked air pressure and topped up transmission fluid. i was traveling from Oregon when I broke down in Wickenburg. Randy tried to hustle every penny out of me along with the tow truck company across the street from him. He even called my warranty company and told them I seized the engine of my car. After I had him replace the drain plug to my oil pan, I drove the car to Honda in Phoenix, where all necessary repairs were made. Necessary repairs consisted of replacing the drain plug again, and an oil change. Randy is a typical douche bag mechanic. I feel bad for any woman that would put any trust into him. read more

I had my car serviced at Randy's Automotive 8/29/12 the service came to $760.00 with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty.I started having problems with the car again the week of 6/3/13 so I returned to the shop to have the problem looked at while under warranty. I told Allen the counter person that my odometer read 151,458 miles and he said the repair had been made with 130,124 miles and it was no longer under warranty. After stepping into the shop to talk with Randy told me there is nothing they can do its out of warranty. According to their paper work the odometer read 130,124 miles on it, But told him I had my Title from the state from when I purchased the car in 6/12 with a odometer reading is 136,275 A The A means it was actual mileage checked by DMV So according to them 4 months after I bought the car it had 6,275 less miles on it He said to bring in service records that had mileage on it to compare The word of another mechanic verses the DMV They are shorting peoples warranties by putting the wrong mileage down or un-willing to listen to logic and notarized paperwork read more
