Our 3rd visit was this evening, we go, have a few beers, and play pool. Well tonight, it was busy as normal. There was a young girl there 'twerking' on everything that moved, very loud and obnoxious, ok I get it, it's a bar, right? So what! No big deal me and my wife ignore it and continue to enjoy our evening together. Well, our 3rd game of pool together, said obnoxious girl comes and lays a quarter down, and says she has next round (even though me and my wife have one more set laid on the pool table, as we were only planning to play 4.) My wife tells her this information, in a calm fashion. The girl as mentioned goes to starts babbling to her friends and anyone who will listen. Who cares, right? Well she stirs up such a shit show, that the head bartender and owner come and tell us after this game, we must get off the table. Now, keep in mind, there are two tables and the other had been pre-occupied by the SAME two young men, since before we arrived. She tells us it's 'bar rules' in a rude fashion, in front of the owner of Rumors Bar, who says NOTHING. We stop mid-game and let the owner know that we WILL NOT BE RETURNING. And rack our game that was in mid session, out. No, we didn't have to stop mid-game. But, were told we must get off the table after said game has ended. Which is bullshit. It's nowhere posted that there are time limits, it was this one trashy young lady who caused such a ruckus that me and my wife were told we can't proceed to one more game. Me and my wife left, and went to Sharkys Pool, on 94 (which is such a fantastic atmosphere by the way) and played all we wanted for the night. We will not return, and felt we were treated poorly, due to not being regulars, and being 'new' to Rumors. We were planning to make that our one stop place every evening we got to get out, but now Sharkys on 94 will get our business. The owner did nothing, although my wife to a degree understands the ruckus it would of caused her by letting us stay on, we both feel it was handled unprofessionally. I'm sorry, but if I owned a bar, I wouldn't let a young trashy girl as stated above stay around. She was completely hammered, and way out of bounds, louder than the music, and rubbing her ass across anything that moved. We ignored it for the most part, even as we seen another couple leave BECAUSE of this nasty girl. They kept making comments (as they were at a table within ear shot) But after being booted out over that? We WILL NOT return. And maybe 30$ a month doesn't matter to the bartender (not including 5$/drink tip because we are in service industry ourselves) or owner, and this is irrelevant and laughed at by said employees, or owners, but I am disgusted at how the place is run. You reap what you sow, and by allowing trash to enter and 'own' you will be bombarded by such presence for the remainder of your business days. That's their prerogative But this was our view.

I went with a group of friends on a Friday night and they were pretty busy. Most all of the tables were spoken for. The bar wasn't super busy, but it still took forever for them to serve us. It also wasn't super clear how to actually reserve a table. I have to say, I don't think me and my friends were the target demographic for this place, we got a lot of stares and definitely didn't fit it. It was still kinda fun tho, but if you have a pool table at home or anywhere else I'd just play there instead. I probably would not come back here unless my friends really wanted to go. If you are middle aged, like pool and dive bars you'll probably love this place though.
