I agreed to this and when the technician arrived, I had placed calls to the HW company and they told me that if the water heater was defective, regardless of age, they would approve a replacement. The technician, as soon as I said I wanted to file a claim began telling me lies related to the claim process. He said that the HW company would "Take 6-8 hours to approve the claim and therefore I would not be serviced until Monday, but they could replace mine tonight if I purchased from the direct". This was a LIE! I had already received confirmation that once this company submitted the information they would approve the claim within 15-30 min.

Pretty straight forward our water heater is located in the kitchen next to the fridge and is very easily accessible to work on. Wtf is wrong with people?!? SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL! I would be fine with bringing up to code and actually anticipated that. The issue with your service was the lack of professionalism and no response after we were told he would get back to us.
