And our experience did not disappoint! I was so nervous. They were simple designs, but I didn't know what to expect. My husband already has tattoos, but this was new to me! We were walk ins, and we were lucky enough to have Gerassimos available to translate and complete it right then. He took his time to tweak the design and have it just the way we wanted. You can see the care he put into making sure we were happy. Because of the simplicity, they didn't take a lot of time, but the time we did spend with Geras was so amazing! He was great to talk to and to call him a very interesting person is an understatement. It was a tiny bit uncomfortable, but nothing like the pain I thought it would be. LOL! I think too that the whole laid back atmosphere of the place and the kindness of the people made it easy to relax and just enjoy the experience. In addition, we were lucky enough to meet the owner, Art. We spoke with him for a while while Geras was preparing the tattoos. Art is the definition of an "old soul". He drew them up and my requests were this - the ONLY thing I wanted cleaned up was an ink blot on her nose and some of the messy fur. I didnt want anything changed or made or symmetrical, I want THESE prints! He made sure I was happy with the drawing and placement (offset so I can see the entire tat without turning my arm, my tat, my placement choice ). He introduced a guy with long blond hair who instantly didn't look welcoming it was not a good vibe I felt. I began to tell him what I wanted and showed him what I had drawn up for reference. He said he can't do my tattoo in small text. He kept saying it would have to be this big with showing "this big" with his hands and the text size ( yes text size with his fingers) I couldn't compute or visualize the size on my arm, so I started saying this size and would show him, he seemed annoyed bc we kept talking about size and he actually gave me a tone of THIS SIZE, how many times do I have to show you! So I said you can touch me to show me bc I can't visualize the size you are showing on my arm. (#1 bc it was huge in comparison to what I wanted) he said he don't touch people without permission so he didn't just want to assume, he also didn't ask.. so this added to me getting the vibe he didnt want to do my tattoo. So he actually was meaning to upsize the small tattoo I wanted to a huge half inner arm tattoo for $240!!! The text was Let it Go Let it Out on top of each other. I didn't like his demeanor of not being interested and him changing the tattoo to such a large piece bc it would eventually bleed. Then he wanted to tell me, you'll find someone to do it but I don't bc it eventually bleeds after about two years and doesn't look right. Which another artist at a different shop said the same thing but he ended up doing it larger than I wanted but much smaller than this guy tried to say it had to be(without him thinking it would bleed later). See my other review of that tattoo. Since I felt from the beginning he didn't want to help me, didn't want to touch me or just show real interest in helping me understand the size needed, him also turning my small dainty typewriter font with 6 words on top of each into a mini sleeve tattoo for $240!! I chose to leave. I don't know if he was up charging me to make more money and using the future bleeding as an excuse, but I just didn't think a small tattoo couldn't be done smaller than what he said with also maintaining the integrity of his work and style. I felt he just wasn't interested in helping me. Let It Go Let it Out or Let it Go Girl Let it Out. = $240 increased size to 2/3 of my inner arm! No thank you.

He continued to try and rub the skin and push it through the skin even though it obviously wasn't working since the channel isn't right there?? Very painful and now i have a big red bump from him doing that. he very obviously must not know what he's doing. This made me very angry considering it was a careless dumb thing for him to do and could have easily been avoided if he would've known what he was doing and not been so careless...

This shop refuses service to individuals due to their disabilities. I have never experienced such…read moreblatant refusal of service due to my disability. I have a task specific service animal that is trained to interrupt ptsd episodes, help me to a safe exit during an episode, and to alert a nearby person who may be able to help me if I become severely disoriented or mute. My disability is not visible, but my service animal is. I traveled from out of state and the only reason that he has a patch that says that he is in training is because this was his first trip flying on an airplane which lets others be a bit more understanding if he does make a mistake that I need to correct. The service's that he preforms to assist with are fully training and carried out when necessary. I came into this shop looking to have a tattoo done. The shop was operating on a walk in only basis. When I walked in the woman expressed concern about my service animal posing a health risk. He is well groomed, hypo allergenic, and does not shed. When I informed the woman at the front desk that he is a service animal and not just an emotional support animal, she requested her manager come talk to me. Thinking that the man would understand that per federal ADA requirements and the tattoo shop being a public place of service that he is required to allow my service animal to accompany me, he said no. He informed me to call the health department which I agreed to do, and once I agreed, he told me that regardless on if the health department says that they have to allow my service dog, he still had the right to refuse service to me.
