Timmy (@timmyshenanigans), the musician onboard, was fantastic. Not only did he sound great, but he really made the experience special. Found this company after searching on Instagram and saw there was a July 4th cruise! We were on the water From 7:30-10pm and it was awesome! The crew was friendly and drinks were delicious! The food looked amazing too but I chose not to eat for fear of getting sick (which I was totally fine) I definitely recommend them and I'm already planning on coming back next year for another July 4th cruise! The sunset cruise is lovely, highly recommend. We got a great deal from black Friday ($20!!), and used it this holiday season to enjoy a lovely cruise around San Diego Bay. But it would be great even without the discount. There's no description of what you're seeing, it's really about enjoying the company you are with. They make drinks fairly strong which is great. Get there early to get a good spot on the catamaran. There are some tables along the sides at the back or the bean bags up front. The tables allow you to bring a nice food spread should you want that -- I saw a group set up a whole charcuterie board and yeah, that's the way to do it! No need to worry about sea sickness because it's a catamaran and it's very very smooth. read more

Carly assisted me while booking my tickets for 7 and was very helpful throughout the whole process. And though they had to change the time from our original order, it still worked out at the end - thanks to the Triton team's constant communication with me. The Athena catamaran has a good layout, had plenty of room to move about, and bathrooms were kept clean the whole time. The crew was friendly and fun to be with, from the captain to the bar tender. Absolutely love this charter. We have been on 2 and plan on many more. The crew was exceptional and the live artists they have had are amazing. They have a bar with cocktails and beer and you are allowed to bring in food. It sets sail right next to Ketch grill and offers plenty of parking across the way. This was a fantastic cruise around the San Diego Bay. The crew offered to snap photos of us when we were trying to do some selfies. The boat was as smooth as can be. The evening cruise we took had beautiful sunset views and views of downtown and the Coronado Bridge. There was also a bar on-board with some pretty tasty drink options. The only reason I'm giving Triton a 1 Star is due to the LOUD music. "Be Aware Of Your Audience" is one of the best guiding principles a company can put into place. A group of us was on the charter, some family and friends wearing hearing aids. The volume was unnecessarily loud. Think about it - the louder the music, the louder people have to talk or scream in order to hear what others are saying. After I asked if the music could be lowered, the deck hand grumbled, and suggested I stay in the back. As the cruise proceeded, a few people mentioned the volume of the music. Please know we're not being difficult. If you had to live in our heads for a day, you'd understand. Loud music isn't necessary to have a great time. Especially when it's a crowd that isn't in the teens, 20s or perhaps 30s. read more

This was a late night cruise booked for a private event. You had to make sure you signed a waiver form before you got on board. The employees were very nice and professional and the boat is simply amazing. You have many areas to sit at and we choose to sit in the front for the best view on top of the beanbags. They played great music and our 2 hour tour was awesome. The San Diego skyline is something to see! The bartender Brad was one of the highlights. Despite having a huge line and multiple people ordering at the same time, he was very quick and professional! Don't forget to tip him! Maybe it was the weather or the views, but it wasn't as exciting as expected it to be. This was a two hour tour of SD Bay to Coronado bridge and back. It cruised and sailed by restaurants, piers, and the navy "midway" among other vessels. The crew wasn't very friendly they spent most of the time talking with each other, other passengers who were drunk and maintaining the heads. I guess when you do this day in and day out, you get bored and unengaged. Anyway, it wasn't that it was bad it just wasn't exciting and long. Yeah, it was the weather. Also, the rig had a lot more people than "we" expected, at least 50 people. read more

We had the best time on a ticketed Triton 2.5 hour sightseeing cruise. Recommend coming early to get in line to get a good spot on the boat. We sat on the bean bags in the back but there's also a lot of seats with tables. You can bring your own food and we saw a group with a very fancy cheese platter. The boat is super clean with 2 bathrooms. Never had to wait too long to go to the bathroom but the bar line did get long at times. They have a variety of options for the bar and was very surprised at the quality of the cocktails for the price. ALL the staff onboard were super nice and they had live music as well. The names were fun and drinks came with a pretty garnish. I had sips of all of them, but they were really strong for me. Overall, I had a fun time! I'll have to go again when the weather is warmer! A group of 20 of us went on the 2:30 afternoon cruise on Sunday 7/13. Free parking was easy to find per the instructions on the ticket confirmation. It was my sister in law's 50th birthday and she wanted to bring a lot of snacks on board so we had a lot of bags. The crew welcomed us without question. We were so happy to find a shaded area of 4 tables to set up our snacks. I apologize for not knowing any of the crew's names, but they were all great. The friendly bartender made delicious drinks very quickly. He came over to take our group picture without us asking which was very nice. The other crew members were always walking around to ask if we needed anything. They made sure that my sister's birthday was acknowledged also. The singer, Timmy, was great! He played a great variety of music and made the cruise very enjoyable. The captain did a wonderful job piloting the boat and we felt safe the whole time. Overall the boat ride was great, we didn't feel crowded even with many people on board. It was easy to get on and off, and to get out of the busy San Diego port area quickly. Booked a 11a charter April 2023 and it was a great afternoon! Parking: Free parking is available across the street from the address (parking lot of the Brigintine). There are metered spots near the street, but as you drive further in there are plenty of spots available. May vary on time/day of charter. The walk is 2 minutes from boarding area. Attire: It was about 70 degrees on the charter day. It started out overcast then it opened up. When you do move into open water, the wind does increase. I wore shorts and jacket. I was comfortable, but some may be cold with the wind. I would suggest (referring to out forecast day) wearing flip flops, jeans, a light jacket, and hat/" or sunglasses. Apply sole spray sunscreen; even with the overcast the sun got us pretty well. Cocktails & Food: They had a great bar/bartender on board and cocktails for purchase. Cocktails were good and reasonably priced. Attached is the menu we had in board for our charter. They do not serve food, but allow you to bring food. We did not, but we saw two groups bring some shareable food which we will do next time. Bathrooms: There were 2 bathrooms on board. Seating: We arrive me as indicated 30 minutes before charter so we were the 3rd group in line to board. That allowed us to choose our seating area first. We sat in the front on the bean bags on the netting. We intended to get up move around, but people seemed to remain in their places. We were glad we got there early to sit in the front. The back looked nice. The front was bags and the back was cushioned seats and tables; which looked good for the groups on board to chat, eat, and sail. Crew: The crew was nice and welcoming. It was all smooth sailing. Suggestions: Arrive early. Bring a light jacket and hat or sunglasses. Bring some shareable snacks. Be prepared to have a relaxing charter! read more
