Ehh it's a bit overpriced because the food is definitely not worth it but I guess for the experience to cross off your bucket list is okay. The staff is hospitable. The whole cruise is 2 hours long. Bottomless mimosas and all you can eat brunch buffet. There really isn't much to choose from at the buffet since it's so small. The food is also not that great. For that price, additional food items should be provided.

While visiting San Diego we took a one-hour harbor cruise with Flagship Cruises. The staff was friendly, the ship was great, the narrator was good, and it was a fun way to spend a bit of time on the water. You get to see the skyline of downtown San Diego, a bit of Coronado, and a lot of Navy Ships.

From start to finish, this whole experience was fun and leisurely. Harbor Tour Tickets are a great value for the money and the ship is fun to walk around with three levels to choose from. They have snacks and drinks with alcohol options if you want to imbibe. The ride itself is extremely smooth, which is a blessing for someone like me with motion sickness. Throughout the ride they narrate what you are seeing and discuss interesting historical facts. On our tour, we saw seals! Overall I highly recommend this tour as San Diego is so gorgeous!

We went on a dinner cruise while at a conference, and the experience was wonderful. The staff was great, and the night was beautiful for taking a cruise on the bay.

During the December holidays, our group of family and friends did the two-hour harbor tour. This is essentially two back-to-back one-hour loops: one North and one South. The North Harbor section was easily my favorite; it passes Point Loma and North Island, offering a stunning view of the downtown San Diego skyline. Since it was a Sunday, the naval base was quiet, but the views were still beautiful. After a quick stop to exchange passengers, we headed South under the Coronado Bridge and past the shipyards. While the sky at dusk was lovely, the shipyards weren't particularly exciting. As for the boat itself, it's a large, older vessel. Seating is limited outside. I spent half the trip standing, and the interior bathroom had a very strong, unpleasant odor. The snack bar is basic, mostly chips, candy, and drinks. If I were to do this again, I'd stick to the one-hour North Harbor tour.

My first time taking a harbor cruise on the Spirit of San Diego. We had some friends visiting from out of town and we decided to do something very touristy with them. It was actually a ton of fun. We booked the two hour cruise using a Groupon and got a great deal, $24 a person. Initially, though I wasn't so excited when the boat took off. The first hour was chaotic, and there was really nowhere to sit until I managed to squeeze into a couple bench seats on the top deck. Then the boat returns to the port and half the people get off and half more get on which I thought was super weird, but it ended up being great. There are three tables on the back of the boat on the middle deck that are fantastic. My friend's mom had made friends with some people sitting at one of the tables. When they disembarked, we were able to snag their table and the table next to it! The second half of the cruise was really great. We were in the back of the boat. It wasn't windy at all. We went underneath the Coronado bridge and then the sun was setting and it was absolutely spectacular. The boat itself has seen better days. It could definitely use a facelift. They've got a little bar where a gentleman can make you cocktails and serve you hotdog. There's also got bags of chips and cookies available. I got a virgin Mojito, and it was really tasty! All in all, it was really fun and absolutely worth it, even for a local. I recommend booking at the time we did if you go in the winter. 3 PM to 5 PM. The first hour is sunny and warm and the second hour is more like dusk. And then when people get up to leave, you can snag their better seats. Plus for some reason not many people booked for that 4-5 PM hour and it wasn't nearly as packed on the boat.

A local, family-owned and operated yacht charter, cruise and events company serving San Diego since 1915. They specialize in gourmet dinner cruises, harbor tours, patriot jet boat thrill rides, private charters, corporate events, weddings and many more special occasions. They also offer whale watching excursions December through April, and year-round ferry and water taxi service to Coronado Island and along San Diego Bay. We took the round-trip ferry from San Diego to Coronado Island. The journey was fun, and we enjoyed every moment of it! Highly recommended for family activities.

Enjoyed a relaxing cruise this past week from one of the Flagship Cruises. Super stoked to try out this experience because my boyfriend and I had never explored the dock in San Diego before! We were able to walk-in and redeem a voucher to get tickets for a cruise leaving in 20 minutes. Perfect! Especially since we were going to do the 2-hour cruise and our street parking spot was max 3 hours ($2.50 each hour). We had to wait for the boat to arrive, but overall once you walk in, there are plenty of seats to choose from. The weather was beautiful so we were at the top deck, which is where you can see Rusty do his entire trip narration with a mic. Inside in the other floors you can hear his voice well with the speakers too. There's a mini counter that sells drinks and other snacks. It was pretty tempting to buy something to munch on to be honest. Overall I'm very satisfied by our trip here and found everything to go very smoothly! PS The north-side hour trip takes you past some cute sea lions! The south-side hour trip brings you past a lot of military vessels.

BRYAN, waits for cruise to begin, while SISTER IN LAW, NIECE, and PARTNER, walked to Starbucks, and down to Seaport Village.

I wanted to leave a FIVE STAR REVIEW, I DID'NT AT FIRST, BUT THEN I DID. INDEED, I initially was not going to be able to, and that was until PATTY STEPPED IN. We, my Partner and I, went on the 2 Hour TOUR, w/ my Uncle and his Husband. We were a bit UNDERWHELMED!!! As a form of compensation, we were given 2 new 2 HOUR TOUR TICKETS. We decided, after agreeing to that, that it would be better to use them for the PATRIOT TOUR, scheduled for the very next day. THANKFULLY, the TICKET OFFICE MANAGER Patty came through for us, and exchanged our tickets. We needed to find the tour with the most bookings, though, to avoid cancellation. SHE WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL TO THINK ABOUT THAT!!! We look forward to a better experience on the PATRIOT TOUR, but as a note. We have had prior Great Experiences on the Harbor Cruises!!!

We booked the Sunday Brunch Cruise for our daughter's birthday and had a ball! From making the reservation by phone to arriving at the port, everyone I dealt with at Flagship was so helpful and friendly. They asked lots of questions to help make sure our group had the best experience. We were able to secure a table near the window and bring in some small flower arrangements for the table ahead of boarding. The food was delicious and plentiful , and the bottomless mimosas kept flowing! Our server Arturo was so kind and attentive and really made our experience feel personalized and special. We even saw the SS Murtha returning to port after the Artemis space flight- what a treat! My only complaint was they advertise a DJ but they did not seem to promote dancing and there really wasn't a dance floor, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Dancing would have made it perfect. I have lived in San Diego for 30 yrs and never been on a Flagship cruise but will definitely come back! A great thing to do if you're visiting San Diego and want to see the harbor and local sights. Highly recommend!

Bought the ticket online and I was very pleased and excited throughout the process. Showed up at the port and showed my ticket and was told to followed the crowd. Got on the ship and I was able to select a seat at the bottom and upper deck for view purpose. The cruise was a two hours as stated on their website. The cruise was very interesting and informative! They offer no-alcoholic & alcoholic drinks on the upper deck and small snacks. Overall, great experience and next time I'm in San Diego, I'll do it again!

Are the dinner cruise tables private per party, or shared among parties? (e.g. a party of 2 may share a table with another party of 2)?

Hi Paige, All tables are private.

Is there a dress code/preference for the Dinner cruise? Also, are there mobility restrictions (like going out on deck once the meal is complete?)

No dress code. It was kind of stuffy during the dining area. I dressed warm with long sleeves, closed toed shoes & a scarf and I had hot especially after wine lol…

Is the brunch cruise all inclusive? (Food, drinks, cruise)

Yes, the food, cruise and drinks (juices/endless champagne) are included. There are some additional food items that can be upgraded for an additional cost along with a cash/debit bar for all other alcohol based drinks.

We have planned a 2 hour harbour tour next weekend. What if our 2 1/2 year old won't leave his mask on?

There is plenty of space on the outside of the ship (on top, in the back and front). You could spend most of the time on the outside and without a mask should be fine (unless they've put in tighter restrictions).

What is the dress code for the prime rib dinner cruise?

Not a particular one. But defiantly black slacks for men & a dress for women. I'd say the crowd was split 50/50 on people dressing tip top shape and those who worse slacks and a summer dress.

One of the most fascinating exhibits is the Soviet B-39 submarine from the Cold War. The inside is unbelievably cramped and gives you a real sense of what life was like beneath the ocean during one of the most dangerous periods in modern history. The USS Dolphin may have been my favorite. This experimental deep-diving U.S. Navy submarine helped test advanced underwater technology and launched the deepest-fired torpedo in naval history. The museum also includes the San Salvador, recreating the ship that explored California's coastline in 1542 -- long before America existed as a country. What makes this place incredible is the timeline it creates: 1500s exploration... 1800s global sailing... steam-powered industry... world wars... Cold War submarines... All sitting together in one harbor. This place doesn't just teach maritime history -- it shows how ships shaped exploration, immigration, trade, warfare, and entire empires.

Great information during the cruise. Would have been fabulous even if we hadn't seen whales, which we did. Would definitely do it again next time we are in San Diego.

One of the deck hands immediately brought over a bottle of water for our dogs (we brought our own collapsible bowl). The ship and the tour were outstanding! I have been on several whale watching tours and never really saw whales nor was I expecting to see any on this trip. However, we did see a couple whales and pods of dolphins. Not only was our trip personally narrated by the young lady (sorry I did not get her name) giving a bit of a history, lesson, pointing out landmarks, and pointing out that we can see Mexico. She also took videos of the whales and the dolphins as she knew where and what to look for. She also had better access to parts of the ship that we did not. At the end of the tour, she airdropped them to our phones (for free) what a great service! Although chips and snacks were passed out during the trip, several people brought their own lunches. The ship itself was gorgeous, clean and very roomy. It never felt crowded.
