SO. Last year (2022) I bought tickets for gifts during the Black Friday deal, so $20 instead of $55. Roll around to a year later. NONE OF US USED OUR TICKETS! SO, I say, "Come out to the coast. We'll get together. Have a few laughs" Use our tickets and have some drinks. So we did! Five of us spent Saturday morning on the Triton Charters Catamaran and it was FANTASTIC. Of course, we were lucky to have an AMAZINGLY gorgeous San Diego morning on the water. Full sun and perfect temperatures, but that's San Diego.... well, except when it isn't. The boat was gorgeous, comfy, clean and well cared for. The crew was super friendly. And the drinks were... DELICIOUS. Okay, I only actually tried the Triton's Anchor, but it was an outstanding cocktail. Bathrooms worked. We "sailed" out to the Coronado bridge where we turned around for the return to the Shelter Isalnd Marina where the Triton is docked. We had a wonderful time and we all want to do it again. Luckily I HAVE MORE TICKETS!!!! Seriously, this is a beautiful way to spend your day. read more

What is better than sailing on a beautiful catamaran through San Diego bay, enjoying some food, cocktails, friends, then setting anchor off Coronado to ride down a slide and lazily float in the water. Not much! We have now booked a charter on the Triton for the past two years for our firm Family Fun Day, and it has been an amazing experience. Staff are very friendly and professional, ride is smooth, views are stunning, and everyone from age 3 to 83 had a great time. They have cruises where you can book individual tickets, too. My boyfriend and I had such a fabulous time on The St. Patrick's Day charter! I love that they had raffles and the decor really added to the energy of the day. Went on a Friday afternoon 2:30-5pm harbor cruise and it was such a fun trip, amazing experience, and overall loved it so much! The crew was friendly and accommodating, the music was perfect and not too loud...you could still easily have a conversation while enjoying the great selection of music. The boat was in great shape and it was a smooth ride throughout...only one time did we encounter some larger waves that lasted for a minute or so. Everyone in our group had such a wonderful time...lasting memories of a great afternoon! It felt like we were all on vacation! The charter itself was really nice. Staff was nice and upbeat. B-Rad behind the bar was especially hospitable. It was my bday and he took care of my first cocktail. Right on man. My only complaint would not to pack the sail boat. It was really hard to move around and check out different views and parts of the sail boat because no one wanted to lose their spot. This was one of the best company team-building events we have ever organized. The team raved about it and it was the highlight of our week-long offsite. 100% thumbs up. 28/28 approve and want to do it again. Trevor was our captain and did a terrific job. He made sure we got to see all the highlights of San Diego harbor. Rick was our bartender and did an outstanding jobs with the drink requests. We did an afternoon sail for two hours at lunch. Aldo's Taco shop catered and everyone absolutely loved it. Definitely one of the best value caterers I've ever used and will use them again even off the boat. Tacos were a big hit! The boat holds 75 people, but we just had 28. It was really comfortable with plenty of places to sit and move around. I think if we were at 75, it would be too crowded. It would have been standing room only and not as fun. We were able to use bluetooth from our phones and play our own music easily. I most highly recommend Triton Charters! read more

My second time on Triton Charter's sunset catamaran cruise and I cannot recommend it enough. First off, show up early to get in line, because as you board you will make sure to get your desired seating as it is first come first serve. If you happen to get there with time to spare there is a nice brewery steps away from the boat (Eppig Brewing Co). The staff is friendly, and the boat and its restrooms are clean. Bartender on board is efficient and they have a nice selection of themed cocktails. Live music set on the backdrop of a beautiful sunset along the San Diego coastline makes for a perfect evening and photo worthy views. Also, be cognizant of the weather as it can get a little chilly on the water and dress accordingly! read more

Unfortunately it was cloudy that day, but we still got to see some dolphins and the beautiful nighttime view of SD. I would highly recommend dressing in many layers because it gets freezing once the sun is gone, would be nice if they offered blankets or heaters for guests. Overall I had a fun time! The drinks range from $9-$12. Crew was friendly and provided good service. I thought 2.5 hours was a little too long for me, might be better if you come with a bigger group. read more

We love this catamaran tour - we went this past weekend for it and this was Great day for family of town. We got some fresh seafood and the hit the charter. they had a great time seeing the whole downtown and being on the water for a few hours. They were surprised how long the tour was .... This is 100% worth getting tickets with a group of friends for a fun afternoon on the water without having to rent out a private boat. I started doing this with friends when they first allowed the ticket purchase instead of a private charter and it turned into a once a month thing for awhile. If you go after the sunsets it gets cold, sometimes so cold you end up buying the blankets for purchase haha just make sure to come prepared. Went for a 2 1/2 hour sail today with Triton charters. What a beautiful day and a awesome crew. The boat is kept in fantastic shape. I talked to the captain who allowed me to come up to the cockpit for a good 30 minutes. He told me that it's not a new boat, but you sure wouldn't know it. I had about 20 questions for him and he answered all of them and was so nice and polite about it. The coolest thing is being able to sit in super comfortable beanbag chairs. Also it was great having a bar and cool bartender. The music was a little bit loud for some people and probably not loud enough for others. The day was perfect! Thank you Captain and crew! read more

My Son & I took a 2:30 pm charter with Triton Charters and were trilled with our experience. All the employees were so nice and we loved sitting in the bean bag lounger chairs at the front of the boat with an alcoholic beverage in our hand! Boat was spacious with not too many people on Board. They had two bathrooms that were surprisingly nice (think airplane but slightly bigger & nicer... Loved seeing the sails go up and then going from the dock all the way to under the Coronado Bridge. The Captain then took us fairly close to shore heading North and we got an up close look at so many of the fancy yachts and the USS Midway. Really a treat! I would highly recommend Triton Charters and felt the tour was the highlight of our trip to San Diego. Next visit we will do the 6 pm Charter so we can see the city lights. One suggestion I would have is to have QR Codes located in various parts of the boat where guests can scan to provide tips for the crew. We were able to tip the sweet Bartender because we paid by credit card for our drinks but had no cash for tipping other employees. My bad.... Will remember next time because they totally deserved it! This is a must if you live in San Diego or you are visiting. The 2.5 hour cruise around the bay that I was on included live music which created an amazing atmosphere while enjoying the incredible views. The musician on our tour was GBUED music. Amazing voice and music/song selection. You are able to bring food as it is not served on the boat. I definitely recommend! They sell drinks onboard for you to purchase. We reserved 2,5 hours day group charter with my husband. It was quick check-in and friendly staff. At first, it was some line to the bar to get drinks but after 10 minutes it cleared up. We got a beer and pineapple juice. The only minus we founded up - it was a plastic cup, mine blow up after a couple of sips. They have around 10-12 bean bags and a couple of wooden benches in front of the boat, and tables with comfy seats at the back. It was nice music playing during the trip. I love their route. Triton Charters is new to San Diego so my friends and I decided to check it out. After the sailing, we all agreed this is by far the best harbor excursion offered in San Diego today. We booked our tickets online and signed the waivers prior to arriving at the dock. The process was simple and painless. Upon arriving at the dock, we were greeted and checked in using the name on the bookings. Again, it was a piece of cake. We walked down the pier a short distance and were greeted and welcomed aboard the boat. The catamaran was spotless, looked brand new, and had absolutely amazing seating! There are tons of very comfortable bench seating areas with bright and vibrant cushions. The tables had electric candles which really made the boat feel extremely comfortable and more like a home environment. I have never been on a boat in the San Diego harbor that was this warm and inviting. After grabbing an adult beverage from the 13 sear bar and after the safety briefing, we pulled out of the slip and headed into the harbor. The crew turned on some awesome tunes, put a football game on the large flat-panel TV, and off we went. The weather was perfect, the boat was perfect, and the crew was outstanding. My friends and I made our way to the front of the boat and laid-claim to a few of the super comfortable bean bags and mesh netting. Throughout the sailing, the crew came around and checked on everyone and offered to refresh our drinks. Again, outstanding service! The bar will open a tab for you using a credit card and will close you out at the end, The beverage selection was actually pretty decent, considering we were floating around in the harbor. The drinks were $7 and I believe beer may have been a bit cheaper. Overall, we had a truly amazing trip with Triton Charters. They blow the other harbor cruise companies in San Diego completely away. This catamaran sailing and crew offer a far higher quality experience than anything in town right now. I *highly* recommend them and cannot wait to return. DON'T Go! We were so disappointed after we bought thirteen tickets for Fathers Day to go on the Triton Catamarán to have the bartender Brad treat us so poorly. One of the girls was actually crying. I am not sure if he is new on the boat; however, I would caution anyone who wants to go on this boat to make sure Brad is not working. We were all so sad and disappointed having to be stuck with him for two and a half hours. I hope management will reach out and take him out of the hospitality business. He is in the wrong career especially if they are trying to build repeat customers. Fathers Day was unfortunately ruined for us by the actions of one single individual. We just had my Husband's 50th birthday on Triton's private charter and it was the most awesome experience! Carly, the charter's Coordinator, was amazing! She took care of everything! All I had to do was pick a food vendor and decide if we wanted an open, host, or cash bar. We chose the host bar and the bartender was outstanding! From the minute we boarded, the captain introduced himself and the crew, made sure everyone on my guest list was there, and we set sail. It was the most fun and enjoyable 3 hours ANY of us have ever spent at a party! And the food (vendor Aldo's Tacos), was delicious!! The whole trip was perfection! So unique and personable. It was the perfect size boat for our 70 guests. We were all very comfortable and very well taken care of by the crew. I HIGHLY recommend! We can't wait to do this again! read more
