We hired Allan to do our wedding at Vellano Golf course In Chino. He had everything you would want from a photographer, insurance, waivers for our venue done, amazing equipment, etc. After shopping around, Allan was highly Recommended and one of the most affordable (important when planning a wedding). All that said, Allan is beyond words. I am not getting any incentive for this review and I have to tell you, the photos are breath-taking. We didn't have a hundred-thousand dollar wedding, but if you look at the high quality photos and the visual/artistic talent Allan has, it just elevated everything. O M G...that's how I got to start my review. Even before I hired Allan, he was attentive to all my questions, follow ups, etc. He already started off on a good note. He even gave advice to us before being hired. Advice on what to look for in a photographer, whether or not we used him. Allan and Paul (I believe that was what our 2nd photographer's name was) were amazing, he made us feel like family, total Ohana! Ton-Ton was a great assistant as well. I absolutely love how professional and interpersonal my "Mommy and Me" photoshoot came out! I have dreamt about having family portraits for a long time even before my daughter was born. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS. STOP RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! Triversity Wedding Photography is THE ONLY PHOTOGRAPHER YOU NEED! I have been following Allen on Facebook and admiring his blogs for over a year before I even knew I was getting married! I knew Triversity was going to be my photographer before I even got a wedding ring!! I found him from a coworkers wedding in May 2013.  The pictures are breathtaking.  I even compared him and two other professional photographers that are well known to my friends that are into photography, and they all said to choose Allen, because of his variety of lenses, angles, and filters.  AND THEY WERE ALL RIGHT!!! From our 1st visit, Allen makes it known he is a family man, and this is just not his job, it's his passion.  His prices were cheaper than any other (which is what worried me, because comparing him to every other professional photographer; he was almost half the price.) I kept hearing "You get what you pay for." I even asked Allen why he was so cheap, he said because he knows his work speaks for itself, and he will always have work through good references.  The engagement session, and a 16X20 inch canvas frame of any picture you want to hang at your wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had our engagement pictures done October 7th, 2014.  The only word used to describe Allen, Matt and Chris, I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E! We emailed back and forth for a few days about what location would work best, based on how much I researched on his website, and what Allen recommended since I have a toddler.  We met at 4:30pm; Allen had a belt full of lenses and was ready to go.  With Matt as a backup photographer, and Chris helping with lighting, our pictures were beautiful right from the camera (Allen would show us a few here and there.)  Their personalities made it so fun and easy! After we got tons of great pictures with my daughter, Allen and the team moved with us to another location.  ALLEN DOES THE MOST ROMANTIC POSES YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. I got married in 2009 and so HAPPY with the results Allan and the TWP team were able to provide for my special day! My husband and I are soooooooo not "picture people" but knew we needed to hire a professional photographer for our 300+ guests in San Francisco. I live in Southern California and was referred by a mutual friend. As soon as I met Allan we hit it off right away. Man, the guy can talk and is extremely KNOWLEDGEABLE about the wedding industry. At first my husband and I were just planning on skipping out on taking engagement photo's (b/c remember we're not picture people) but Allan convinced us otherwise. And I'm so glad he did b/c who knows when we'll have an excuse to take professional photo's. We took our engagement photo's in Santa Monica and had a BLAST! My husband and I are not used to taking those lovey dovey type photo's but Allan was able to direct us and make us feel at ease. He encouraged us to have FUN on the shoot. So aside from watching the sunset as we walked along the beach type photo's....we were able to be silly. For example, my husband loves to go fishing so we have a photo of him holding the rod w/ my engagement ring at the end of the line and me catching the ring in my mouth. Another one of my favorite engagement photo's are of us wearing our rival team jersey's GIANTS vs Dodgers. Allan made us feel so comfortable we didn't want our session to end. On our wedding day, we were blessed to have 3 photographers make the trip up north. If there were any stress happening behind the scenes, I had no clue b/c Allan and his team were was able to handle the chaos in a calm professional manor. They impressed us all with their ability to just step in and take charge that even my videographer's from a different company just followed their lead. LOL! GO TEAM TWP!!!! AJ took our engagement photos in the midst of Vegas heat last summer (Aug 2011) and they were great. He edited out a lot of our shiny-ness and sweat for our later shots, and got some great shots of us all over Lake Las Vegas, on the Strip and by the Welcome Sign. Due to schedule conflicts we weren't able to have AJ / TWP shoot our wedding day, but look forward to our second session with him soon. Looking back, even the raw photos are great! We were referred to Allan by a mutual friend and we could not be happier with the decision. Allan and his team are a great group of guys...they are professional, yet mess around enough to keep the mood light and ease the tension that comes along with posing for photos. We shot our engagement photos at the Japanese Gardens at Long Beach State and the place was a bit crowded. While Allan and his group were shooting, my fiance (now wife) and I were wondering how the photos would look with all these people in the background. So, since my last review, I have gotten MARRIED! Allan Jay Garcia and the TWP team were so fantastic! I cannot sing their praises enough! First of all, they were on time. Actually, they were even a few minutes early. When you're a bride short on prep time, this is a huge blessing. As with our engagement photos, they made my husband and I, AND our entire wedding party and family, feel comfortable from the get go. Being photographed can be very awkward and uncomfortable, but not with these guys! They have you laughing and having fun even while you're posing for hours to get the shots that YOU want. We had our wedding on 09/10/15 and it was 2 mos before the wedding when we met Allan Jay. We already have a wedding photographer booked for our date but when we saw Allan jay and his team's portfolio on their website we were blown away. My wife had sleepless nights and felt bothered by the outcome of the photos from our previous photographer, she's not at peace. I'm a firm believer that a picture is worth more than a thousand words and these guys make a thousand words of pure poetry. This took me so long to get to because I've been working on making it as perfect as I possibly could to tell you that they are a great investment to not only preserving the memories of your wedding day but MAKING them as well. We were married in December of 2012 and while I loved working with the wedding venue (and they were great taking care of all the details that I would have a panic attack trying to take care of) nothing was as great an experience as having Allen Jay and the crew there with us. Our big day, had we relied on the videographer and photographer they had, would have been ruined. We let them do the video, because let's face it, unless you have a top noche wedding videographer, it's gonna suck. Since, most of your guest, well, they suck. Someone is going to say SOMETHING, a kid will spill, a parent will react, your bridesmaid will drop the eff bomb, all kinds of stuff happens ON VIDEO. Whereas, pictures, capture the moment and all you'll see is smiles, tears of joy, and awesome interactions, that you can read HOWEVER you choose. Allen Jay and crew not only captured some AMAZING shots but they totally made me and everyone else there feel at ease about the whole process. Parts of my family that have tension, NO ONE would know looking at those pictures. They partied with us and got down with the kids on the dance floor leading to some spectacular pictures. They split off into groups. I had Matt with me while I was getting ready at the salon. My husband had Christian with him while Allen Jay was getting some set up shots. In the hours before the wedding they were there cracking jokes and totally helping us to relax while being completely reassuring. My husband family is VERY reserved (borderline jerks really) but these guys totally brought them out of their shells and got them to have fun and, get this, ACTUALLY SMILE. It was crazy to see that, and while it was brief in reality, my pictures looks like they were beaming the ENTIRE TIME. I wish I could give more than five stars to these guys. I would say don't forget to ask for engagement packages with the wedding shots, or something like that, but I don't have to. From the time you get in touch with Allen Jay he takes care of everything and makes sure that you get more than what you even imagined you wanted. I only had a couple of shots in mind that I knew I wanted, the light play one was pretty much it. While I've seen my friends go through and have to type out LISTS of shots they want and even then DON'T get them with their photographers who charge WAY more... we didn't have to do ANY of that. Allen Jay made sure we had everything we could expect and MORE. The only advice I can offer is common sense to me. Weddings and receptions are expensive, duh, but how about feeding these guys instead of treating them like "the help". While yes, they are there to help you, think of how long they'll be there and how hungry you are when you get to that reception! Seriously.
