Soooooo I loveee the bacon wrapped jalapeños!! I'd come here just for those! The fries look amazing, but I wish they weren't battered so they were gluten free. The wings are yummy. My only issue is that depending on the flavor you get the spice is hard to come by. I prefer the Buffalo at hot or atomic because you actually get the heat. I've had the Cajun honey BBQ at hot and the second time atomic. I had to send them back to add more spice and they still were not spicy. If you want spicy wings I think it's your best bet to get something that has natural spice. No matter what this place is bomb! You get to choose your heat, sauces, bone in or boneless, and the jalapeños are a show stopper! read more

I'd been wanting to try this place but unfortunately the food was not good. I was surprised to find out that they had been voted best wings in Utah, because my husbands wings tasted like barf. Unfortunately there is no better way to describe the taste of the wings. We went on a Saturday night and sat at the bar, but we were mostly ignored by the 2 bartenders since we were not drinking. An utter disgrace. We placed a Grubhub order for Trolley 3 days in advance of Superbowl Sunday to ensure we would have food. Grubhub sent us an email 3 hours before kick-off and cancelled our order because "they are busier than usual." Of course you are, its the Superbowl and you sell wings. This place was subpar at best. I had high hopes after hearing so many wonderful things, so I don't know if my experience is a one-off but I don't plan to be back. My husband said BWW would've been better (and that's saying quite a bit, coming from him). We got: Garlic parm trolley fries- pretty flavorless, no detectable garlic, no seasoning, just thick, dense, chewy fried potato that tasted old. Parmesan was the Kraft grated kind with no flavor. Desperately needed dipping sauce. Habanero ranch was good but very spicy. Bone in and Boneless Buffalo Parmesan wings: Parmesan was the same grated Kraft kind, no flavor. Could've gotten mild wings and it would've tasted the same. Boneless wings were cold and soggy and felt like they'd been left out. and my husband got the regular bone in, same flavor. I asked my husband if his wings were cold and he said they were barely warm and it felt like they had been sitting out. Neither seemed to be fresh. Service: Good overall. However, I notified the waitress that my wings were cold and soggy, but that I had eaten them anyway because I was starving (and she hadn't been by in quite some time to check in so I didn't want to keep waiting to send them back). She was shocked that they were cold, but just apologized and didn't offer any solutions. For the price of the food, I was expecting a lot more. The wings come with carrot & celery sticks with ranch dressing . The Smoky Carolina sauce was pretty spicy for a mild flavor but tasted really good with their ranch dressing . The also have a habanero ranch sauce for the fries which are called Trolley chips. This sauce is super spicy & really good. You can get Parmesan or Cajun dusted Trolley Chips . We tried both they are both really good. The Cajun chips are spicy but delicious dipped in the ranch dressing. The chips are big . The other people in our group had the bone in wings with Jamaican Honey Garlic and boneless wings with Jamaican Honey Garlic . They loved their wings also. Tasty wings, best in town. I have been everywhere. There are other wing places in town that come close but it still does not beat up this place. Customer service / speed of servies was lacking a little but that's because they were extremely busy. (took 15 minutes to get dessert and another 15 minutes to get a check) I'm glad I was not in a hurry but could have been annoyed if I were. I enjoyed my experience this time around just like all the other times previous. Adults only it's a bar unfortunately. First time we came here back in May/June it was incredible. But unfortunately that was the one and only good time. We keep going back expecting it to be different. We either get wings with barely any sauce on them. Or we get wings that are so extremely hot you can't even eat them. We order medium every time. This time we went with a friend, we got our normal medium while they got atomic. The heat level was exactly the same. It's ridiculously hot and you can't even eat it. The fries are mediocre, garlic Parmesan was pretty bland, very crunchy, and desperately needed salt. I hate dropping $40+ on wings to be disappointed every time. Your girl finally made it to TWC! Okay sooo I did raise my stars. Customer service was good and my food came out quick. The wings are delicious! You can also choose your level of hotness. The downfall was that although your order comes with 8 wings unfortunately You can't get 4 raspberry chipotle and 4 honey garlic. Which was such a bummer! I enjoy the best of both worlds. They were not able to make a blended margarita only on the rocks. I can't remember why. There also isn't any Mexican beer. Which is fine.... but I know a quite a few people including myself that like a nice cold corona. Aaand the mens restroom has a two way mirror that makes for an awkward situation as you can see the person who's taking a leak staring right at Cha. OMG! A wing place near me that has amazing wings?!?!? I'm for it! I have been ordering wings from other restaurants near me for almost three years, and none have been as accurate, fresh, and delicious than I got from TWC yesterday! I was hesitant, I'm easily disappointed when it comes to food. But way to show up! I ordered 40 wings, extra crispy and by god they were! Every time I order from the Buffalo place or the green stop, they never make my wings extra crispy, NEVER! They have great wings but that's not why I'm leaving this review. Our adult soccer league team had been frequenting trolley every Wednesday for almost a year with no issue. However, recently we showed up and apparently one of our friends had been "banned". They would not give him a reason why for almost a month and then when he showed up their manager, who clearly has a napoleon complex, said because he was "rude to staff" (which no one every complained about us or him previously, and no one was ever kicked out). I feel bad for the staff losing out on almost $420 every Wednesday but also we clearly don't want to give money to an establishment with horrible management. read more

The TWC location in Taylorsville was a great stop to drink. Due the managers negative and condescending attitude she gives to customers. This place has gone down hill and I will not be visiting this establishment again. I've been aware of many outgoing personal that had once worked there. Update: Same problems continue, if not worse. For a place that specializes in wings, they sure have quality issues. Let me start by saying this is probably one of my favorite places to eat. It's my goto local comfort food and when it's done correctly there isn't a better wing on the planet. That said, it's extremely inconsistent. I wish management would do a better job making sure that servers taking orders, or even people taking takeout orders, put things in correctly. I can't tell you how many times I've asked for things like extra crispy, or extra sides of ranch or sauce, that are more often forgotten than they are remembered. Definitely a problem in their process somewhere, especially for takeout The quality of the cook on wings can range from barely done to perfect depending on the day you order and the cook you get. For how small it is, they could be more accommodating. If you're sitting facing North, there are no TV's to look at. Only the reflection in the windows. They have the power sources and the space for at least 3-4 TVs for the North sitting seats. Come on guys... TVs are inexpensive. Your customers will enjoy it! The food... meh. Not worth the wait in my opinion and since it's such a small place, you'll most likely have to wait to be seated. I had the Mac n Cheese bites. They were pretty good with the habanero dipping sauce. I also tried the honey boneless wings and I couldn't eat more than two. They weren't good. I tried the vegan and also the vegetarian wings and I'm neither vegan or vegetarian, so I'm sure there's an acquired taste, but I wasn't a fan of those either. The service was good, our waitress was very friendly and did a great job. As for the patrons, it was mellow. With the Olympic opening ceremony, a Jazz game and golf playing, it wasn't too loud or rowdy. But I could see this place getting a little wild. What's also pretty weird is the window or double sided mirror into the men's bathroom. While you're standing at a stall, you can look out into the restaurant and while sitting in the restaurant you can see a faint outline of those standing at the urinals. Yum! Had the Jamaican honey garlic bone-in wings! You get 8 wings, celery, carrots, and ranch or blue cheese. You can only get one sauce, or you can get your wings without any sauce on them with multiple sauces on the side. (My recommendation: don't do that) the sauce was SO GOOD!! Some of the best sauce I've ever had on wings! You can also choose the level of spiciness you want your wings. I got medium and it wasn't really spicy at all. The only thing about the wings is that I wish they were crispier. They were still very good, but if that's a deal breaker for you, just be aware that they aren't the crispiest. Also shared an order of the waffle crisps (fries). These were VERY good! Very crispy and well-seasoned! The service was reasonably good. Had to ask for water twice, and the server forgot that we asked for only carrots. Not the biggest deal, but not ideal. Definitely will be back, for the Jamaican honey garlic sauce!! read more

Logan was sweet. Beer is good. Wings are even better! I ordered the Cajun lemon (bone in of course) & it was so darn good. My boyfriend thinks it was too lemon-y but I thought it was just right. The wings were smothered in enough sauce & cooked to perfection! He ordered the garlic parmesan and found it was a bit burnt on some of the wings. Mine was also a tad bit burnt but the flavors worked well. This place is alllll about wings. They have very few items that aren't wings. What happens if you want wings and your gf doesn't? Dump her! Is the first thing that comes to mind but the reality is you need things that can allow Wing night to happen more than once a week or 2 weeks lol. They're sauces are in now short supply in variety but it's kind of confusing in how you pick it. I tried the wing challenge at the Sugarhouse location. Please... do not try unless you can at least take Buffalo Wild Wings hottest sauce and be fine. It's not ridiculously hot like I've had before. But it's messed up when they picked the biggest wings possible and the ones I get when I order regular wings are skimpy. This is one of those places that has low stars on Yelp, but as a local who's been coming here for years, it's a high rating for me bc I keep coming back! Lol I love this place for some tasty wings, apps, and beer! The bone in Jamaican honey garlic flavor in medium spice level is stupidly delicious, also the fried pickles with habanero ranch is addicting as well lol my partner and I love this place, our friends love it, even my cousins from out of state said it was delicious! Full staff 2 bartenders 3 waitress, manager, host and busier and unrealistic wait for food!! They must have hunted the damn chickens and mind you the restaurant is not even a 1/3 full. 40+mins is unacceptable. After all of the waiting I was severed naked wings with sauce on the side. Nasty! And not what I ordered. Ate one and said, nope! Not what I wanted. Didn't eat them, and placed them at the edge of the table immediately. Lola apologized for it not being what I ordered, but that was it. Never offered to take it away and take it off of our bill. After giving my c.c. She returned it without the itemized recipient which I found shady and very guilty on her part. Side note: the gentleman that was in the booth next to us about 20 mins after sitting; asked if we thought the staff was discombobulated. My husband and I kind of shrugged and thought so far it was... whatever... but by the end of the experience we fully understood what he was referring to. Super excited to see Trolley Wing Co. open just down the street from me. I've heard nothing but great things about their downtown location but never had the opportunity to try them myself. Decided to stop in and get some wings for takeout for Thursday night football. Super nice set up in here with plenty of tv's and a nice layout I'll have to stop in Sunday and spend the day in here. Wings! Great assortment of flavors that you can mix and match and really make your own! I was really disappointed to find out you can only use one flavor combo for each order of 8 wings. ($10.50) so I made 2 orders and tried the Jamaican honey garlic(tasty)and their Smokey Ancho(probably pass next time). Listen, I'm crazy about wings. I love a good crispy and saucy wing. The restaurant is nice, very much a sports bar feel. It wasn't too busy for a weekend and we were seated quickly. The menu is pretty simple with a choice of boneless or bone in wings, one sauce and celery/carrots. I was dissapointed that you can only get one sauce with your wings unless you pay an additional cost. We ordered mac and cheese balls which were tasty but definitely skip-able. The sauce that came with the appetizers was the best part, it was spicy and tangy. I ordered the parmesan buffalo wings and was overall dissapointed. The wing was crispy, but the chicken was dry and the sauce was lacking in flavor and in quantity. I've spent less at other wing places for better tasting wings. The service was good, but I don't see myself coming back here for wings, and with little else on the menu I probably won't come back at all. read more

Kind of like eating at home today--sitting on the couch with no one bothering me with anything... including whether the food was good, needed a refill, or wanted the check. One member of my party's food came out cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. My food and the other party's food was warm-ish. Of course, we'd been dining for about 20 minutes before the waitress asked how it was. I'd have asked another staff person, but it seemed that most team members were more concerned with having a meeting in the dining room than waiting on the restaurant full of customers. TWC is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to eat and has been since the first time I went there in Sugar house. I was so happy they opened in Midvale and I probably go here once a month. They are such a kind bunch of people and always fix any mistake is made, and sometimes give you a gift card for no reason. They show you, your business is appreciated, and you can taste it in the food they make. My favorite flavor is Jamaican Honey Garlic, I love that they allow you to order ALL flats with their bone in wings (I don't like drumsticks). I also love their veggie wings! If I'm not feeling the bones I will order veggies over boneless wings anyday, because they are so delicious. My favorite appetizers are their mac-n-cheese bites and their trolley chips. I also love that I can buy their sauces to go and their mixture to make their habenero ranch dressing, YUMMMM! The worst part about TWC is they are not open on Pioneer Day (which happens to be my birthday) and I invited over 20 people to go there (my bad). read more

TWC is pretty much the best wing joint in Utah in my opinion. I'll openly admit that the service is very hit and miss, and that's why I give it 4 stars and not 5. The food is ALWAYS spot on when it comes to quality. I've only had one experience where my wings weren't super fresh, and that's ok because I feel like I'm always having to let my food cool before I eat it because it's freshly prepared 99% or the time. Our go-to's are the Mac and cheese bites, Cajun trolley chips, and spicy Traeger wings. Most the sauces are good, but for some reason I always go back and compare to those delicious smoky Traeger wings. The Mac and cheese bites are crispy, creamy, ooey gooey goodness. The Cajun chips are spicy, thick cut waffle fries and they're SO GOOD dipped in the habanero ranch. Again, the food is on point most the time. It's the service that seems to be lacking. Even on days when it's slower, we often have issues getting a drink refilled or getting our orders taken in a timely manner. Service really is hit or miss, but I feel like 60% of the time it's good. All in all, I highly recommend TWC. Especially for the Traeger wings! Try them, I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

It's a real shame that -5 stars isn't an option. We walked in the door & stood at the empty host stand while one guy ran around frantic working as the greeter/doorman/ server/ cashier & bar-back. He came over after noticing us standing there for a few minutes and ID'd us. Let me get this straight... wings are literally in the name of your business and I can only order one flavor for all 12 hot wings?! And if I want them naked to try multiple flavors and toss them myself, it's a $1 extra per flavor?! I would completely understand 2 or 3 flavors for an order of 12, but ONE?! Ok... Cool bro... we'll take 12 wings and a veggie bowl on the side. The drinks came without straws, which we had to ask two people for, three different times. The veggie bowl was good, but served with a tiny little cup of ranch. Again when we asked for more, it took so long to get that we were almost done eating with our mouths on fire before it showed up. I don't blame our server, he was doing the best he could under the circumstances with his 4 hats on. But overall the service was TERRIBLE from them being extremely understaffed and the joint not being very busy at all. The wings tasted good and I liked the veggie boat, but did wish they had better pretzels. Like some Snyder's or Dot's. in closing.... as a huge wing connoisseur, I'm extremely disappointed and wish TWC would get their shit together so I could enjoy this place and go back.
