Just got tips on for my manicure. They are amazing! I came in kinda last minute with no appointment so I wasn't expecting to get anything done but they took their time and made it a great experience for me. I started off with a male who glued on the tips and shaped them and then Linda finished my nails with the paint. Called and made an appointment for a pedicure. Have been heere a few time so not sure iff it's new management but was not asked wwhat kind of pedicure I wanted. Done in less than 25 mins. I walked in and they were very friendly and started filing my nails right away, however, I sat with rubbing alcohol soaking my fingers for 35 minutes and finally asked if they could take it off. I then waited another 50 minutes for them to actually start painting my nails. DO NOT COME HERE!! They literally have two nail techs and cannot accommodate more guests. Would not recommend!! read more

Doesn't matter if you have an appointment at this salon or not, you better be prepared to wait up until at least an hour. They take walk-ins and don't seem to care if they have appointments, I had this happen several times and today she was doing a pedicure when I got there and then had to do a dip manicure so I walked out. Last time she took a woman who made her appointment at the wrong salon and I also had to wait. Also not the cleanest. Just lost 3 customers who come on a regular basis. read more

We recently relocated to Myrtle Beach and am looking for a good nail salon that I could count on for regular manicure and pedicures. I made an appointment for mani/pedi and although I arrived early I was seated at a hot tub of water immediately. I asked for a full pedicure and manicure especially focused on my rough cuticles. First there are very few colors to choose as you are encourages to select the much more costly dip, shellac or acrylic polish. I was told that people much prefer the dip and shellac. That is not my preference. I selected a color for my toes but without an option I liked I decided no color for my nails. Maybe I am wrong but I expect oil, lotion or something besides hot water to soak in for my pedicure. The young lady picked up an already used scrubber from another station and scrubbed my feet. Then cut my nails and cuticles with implements that apparently had already been used. The file was so worn from previous use that it was not very effective on my toes. She did a beautiful job polishing my toes then off to manicure. She used the same well worn file on my finger nails as my other hand was out to soak in a tiny bowl of warm water. Since my dry cuticles were in need of attention I asked what I was soaking in. It was just soap. The same used implements from my feet and who ever was before me were used to push and cut my cuticles. My nails were filed and buffed with a buffer that was so worn it was near thread bare. My hands and finger nails although filed and shiny are so dry and hurt from the dry cuticle cut. I know, I should have left but did not want to cause a scene and embarrass the young lady who I am sure needed the check out imposed tip of a minimum of 20%. On top of this I was charged 3% for using my credit card to pay. I will not be back. The two rating was because my toes look nice. read more

I was a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding, and we got our nails done here a day before the big day. At first, the employees paired me up with a professional young lady. However after asking if I was the bride and I declined, they switched and paired me with a man with a horrible tribal armband tattoo. The man was very friendly, but was horrible at his job. I asked for gel and for a smaller white tip on my French manicure, and he kept pushing back at my requests. He also did not file my nails before painting which caused an uneven paint job. I left unhappy, but willing to deal with the D+ nail job. I left, spent the rest of the day relaxing, and then went to the rehearsal dinner. The next morning, 2 of my nails were chipped(so this clearly wasn't gel) and 2 others had creases running through the white tip. I decided that I had to return back to the salon to get them redone. When I returned, the staff was somewhat accommodating, but I was unfortunately paired with the same man. The other employees seemed to hint that he really didn't know what he was doing, but still allowed him to redo my nails. When I asked him if he used gel, he lied and then told me that he did and then used a bonding agent to make the nails last longer (which I did not request). After my hands soaked in pure acetone and with him scraping my nails with a cuticle pusher for 45 minutes, this bonding agent finally came off. While he was redoing my French, I was crystal clear as to what I wanted, but it seemed he was too occupied by his own nails and making sure they looked pretty. Eventually, they turned out just OK (C+). My hands had white paint on them, which I informed him about, and he poured out acetone all over my hands. The paint still didn't come off, so he told me to take a shower. In conclusion, that rude man should quit his day job. The other staff seemed nice and professional, but I was shocked that they allowed him to redo my nails after the first horrible job. read more

I live across the street and I come here out of convenience. Every time, I'm told 5 minutes. 40 minutes later I'm seen. I made an appointment once for noon and came back at noon and did t get pedicure/manicure till 1pm. Very poor communication and terrible services. Only good thing is convenience. Today, a guy was smoking an E-Cigarette while sitting next to me. Ugh. I've come for a pedicure and a manicure. Why are they NOT giving me my manicure? AWFUL. Got my nails done for my bridal portrait, and got a man who couldn't care less about anyone or anything. He watched 2 episodes of an Asian Sitcom while he was doing my nails, and I tried to give him the benefit (because I need music when I work), but 2 of my nails were crooked and they are all different lengths. I asked him repeatedly about this, which he dismissed with a grunt each time. On a side note, I woke up the next morning, and my nails are aching so badly I have a headache. He screwed them up! Then, when i payed, they added a $2 up charge (a number which she magically came up with in her head, because I guess because they don't have to input credit card numbers in their machine every day). When it clicked "no receipt" instead of "send to email" and I asked them to resend it, the man who did my nails walked over and hit "all done" and looked at me and said "All done. Ok, bye!" And went back to his sitcom. His female partner then had to email it to me. No apologies made. I'm not a bride that expects to be treated like a princess, but I do expect to be talked to and respected as a paying customer. NEVER AGAIN. read more

A lot of nail places I feel like I can't ask for designs because it'll be a burden or they don't have the time but here I am comfortable asking and they offer new cool looks. Don't do it, don't go in, don't sit down, you will be disappointed. Second visit, First was similar. They don't pay attention to you, your nails, what you're asking, nothing. I showed them my NO polish tips and said I needed a fill. Twice I was asked to pick out a polish( color). I asked how Lind I'd have to wait, "I'm available now", wrong. I am only leaving 1 star because it won't let me leave zero. I went here with my daughter and best friend for mani pedis. The lady leaves me with my feet in the water (no towel to dry them off or anything) for about 30 minutes. Does my friend's and daughter's nails, I'm still sitting here. Doesn't say a word to me, then proceeds to take other people that came in after me in front of me for pedis. She didn't ask me if it was okay or anything. Other people are coming in the door and they don't even bother to speak to them either. Horrible service is an understatement. The really bad part about this is that we live here and would have been coming in every 2 weeks for both services. Not a great way to gain loyal guests. read more

The staff is very friendly and always accommodating. I was dying for ombre glitter nails and Alexis did exactly what I wanted, I loved it. I have had very many people compliment me on my nails. I'm going to start this off saying that it takes a lot to get me to go out of my way to go online to write a bad review... So here it goes. This was the most unpleasant trip to the nail salon I've ever had in my life. I made an appointment for a pedicure and a manicure. My cousin was tagging along (I made us both appointments). They overcharged her for her pedicure because they used "organic" products and didn't mention it until it came time to pay. She was wise and stopped there. My pedicure sucked. None of my toenails are the same length and they aren't shaped properly. This is also the first pedicure I've had chip 12 hours after it ending. It came time for my fingernails- which was my main purpose of being there. The guy didn't have a care in the world to get the color off my nails (just normal polish.. that I did myself at home.. 1 coat) and thought he was going to paint french tips over half still pink painted nails. I shut it down and told him to give me some cotton balls so I could take it off myself since he was too lazy to do so himself (isn't that what I'm paying them to do? hmm...) Then he proceeds to tell me he has to go help a customer who had an appointment (which I had) and gets up and leaves to start another pedicure. He told me to let me know when I finished getting it all off. I was appalled. I got up- paid for my overpriced pedicure- and swore I'd never be back. I was on edge the whole time I was there and was treated like I was seeing crazy things. Save your time and money. Try Ocean Nails instead- better staff, better service, better prices, and it'll last longer. read more

It's very surprising to see negative reviews here. It is the only nails salon that I have ever been happy with... ever. The atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is very good about getting you in and gives you an accurate wait time if there is a wait. They are very friendly, they take their time!!! (this is important to me) they do not rush. The filing and My French manicures always come out even. I have never had to ask them to fix anything regarding their nail services, which is a different experience from every other salon I've been to, in Myrtle Beach, outside of Myrtle Beach... this is a wonderful salon read more

While at the beach, my mother and I wanted to do some bonding. We picked this salon because it was close to our hotel. We called hours ahead an made appointments for two manecures. One we arrived at our scheduled time, it took 20 minutes, with only two other clients in the building for me, without my mother, to get taken back. After a short and not-so-thorough trimming, my nail technician proceeded to remove my previous polish. He left remnants of the cotton swab on my nails, clearly visible, yet began to put on the base coat. All this was done with a non-friendly attitude. It wasn't until I was done that my mother was taken to begin her nails. Both of us agreed that they were halfway decent nail jobs not nearly worth spending almost an hour on. Do not visit this location! My feet look like a 5yr. Old polished my toe nails. For this to be an upscale salon the service was very poor and especially for the prices.
