Very disappointed with my experience at Tropical Roses. I placed my order over a month in advance, yet I was told at pickup that 3 of the flowers I ordered were unavailable. If they already knew they would not have them in stock, that should have been communicated ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute and substituting flowers without notice. Substitutions do not always work when clients already have a specific vision and expectations. The rose quality was also unacceptable. Many looked old, fully bloomed, and not fresh enough to be considered sellable. As a wholesaler, quality control should be taken more seriously, especially during major holidays when florists and small businesses depend on reliable product quality for their own customers. I understand their policies state there are no refunds and that substitutions may be made depending on availability. This review is not about trying to get a refund or "solve" the issue after the fact. It is about accountability. Selling poor-quality flowers for the sake of making a quick sale is completely unacceptable, especially when other businesses and paying clients are depending on that product. I understand I may not place the biggest orders, but the experience made me feel like smaller customers are not prioritized the same way as larger buyers. I have been in this business for 3 years now to know what good products look like. Unfortunately, this negatively affected my business and my clients. I will not be shopping here again, and I would not recommend them during high-volume holidays if you rely on consistency and quality for your business. read more

Tropical Roses provided all the flowers for my Sister's 50th Wedding Anniversary on January 17th. They shipped hundreds of peach stock, peach , terracotta and toffee Roses to Alabama from Georgia. When the shipment arrived they were in pristine condition. Even though several bunches were missing which was extremely disappointing they IMMEDIATELY addressed the issue and resolved it. All my floral centerpieces turned out exquisitely. My sister , her husband ,family and all their guest were truly truly impressed with the centerpieces. I have used Tropical Roses twice now; June of 2025, and most recently on the 24th of this month. Both times multiple items came in already rotten or brown. Last time it was mainly the solidago (Goldenrod). This time, both packs of roses had quite a few rotten ones. One pack had some rotten to the point of oozing brown liquid. Thankfully I had not needed the entire pack, otherwise this would have been a disaster, about 5 of the flowers were completely unusable. Another 10 had to have much of their petals removed in order to get the rotten parts off. In addition, the wax flowers, delphinium, and stock also has a lot of rotten, brown flowers. The delphiniums had fully bloomed and were losing petals already. As a florist (who only used them because it was a small order and I did not have time to deal with local wholesalers) I was horrified. In all my years doing floral work, I have almost never seen flowers delivered in a worse condition. While I think they can still be useful for customers, I would suggest Bloomingmore instead. If Tropical Roses is your only option because they have the items you need, then order more than you think you need, just in case some are rotten or brown. read more

I made it to the shop just in the nick of time on a Friday afternoon and was so glad Tropical Roses was still open. The shop is right by the train tracks (on the side closest to Downtown Lawrenceville). There is plenty of parking on site in the back of the building. I've been to the building a few times, and even when the offices are filled with workers there are still some good parking spots left. Most car sizes will fit. Friday was the day before my anniversary, so I wanted to support local and get my wife some flowers. I went in with a picture of what I was looking for and the florist executed it perfectly. I love that everyone masked up upon my entrance. The whole team was super courteous and welcoming. I look forward to utilizing the services again in the future. read more

The worst! They just ruined my daughter's wedding. I ordered months in advance. Called to to confirm a week before and was assured everything was good. The day they were to arrive. Nothing! I called and was told they had a glitch they did not send them. They had no way to help or get them here on Friday. Don't trust these people with you special day! read more

If i could post a negative rating I could. After my florist cancelled my order 7 days prior to event, i ordered from Tropical Roses. I also sent a separate email to confirm that my flowers were available and could be delivered when requested. I did not receive a response. After not receiving the flowers today (for a wedding in 2 days), i called them. They responded that they had tried to call me and sent me emails. They did not - this is easily available to track, but they dont appear to know that. Blamed it on a truck that did not come in. How they thought it was reasonable to receive and ship out on the same day, i dont know. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM if you need someone reliable, I did everything in my power to try to prevent this from happening. If i had in fact gotten a call yesterday, i might have been able to do something. Now there is just no time. Extremely disappointed since my niece specifically requested these flowers. And by the way....I didnt even pick the cheapest site online, i picked one that i thought was reliable. Just dont - save yourself the aggravation! read more

This really could've been a better experience. They accomodated me with a late notice order but did not have the requested flowers or vase in stock. Instead they created their own version of a picture provided. Once I explained my disappointment in the arrangement in a very calm manner I was constantly interrupted in an argumentative tone. It was very unprofessional...very. I own a business and if a customer is not happy the next step is to simply correct it. After literally asking several times what other colors they had to better improve the arrangement I was constantly interrupted with " well that's not what you said" or "what's wrong with what I put in there I think it's look fine". The point is I did not like it. It was mainly white and green with a lot of stock that I had already expressed a clear distaste for when asked, yet somehow it ended up in the arrangement. After what felt like a temper tantrum we came to an agreement after adding different flowers to the arrangement. The delivery person was on time and kind. The flowers however did not last overnight. My advice if you order from here, ask for a picture before the delivery. My advice to the owner watch your tone and ego when dealing with customers. It's your job to bring the customer's vision to light not your own. If you can't do it, say so. read more
