I've been to this location twice and I have used the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app to pay with my phone, order ahead, skip the line, and earn rewards. There are so many options for a refreshing, made-to-order smoothie (Super veggies, balanced fusions, fruit blends, tropical treats). I had the Bahama Mama which has strawberries, pineapple, coconut and white chocolate. There are options to customize your smoothie (remove any of the components), add an edible straw, customize your sweetness, add-ins, and add supplements. I left everything as is and the smoothie was delicious. The smoothie was thick and creamy. We had an appointment and happened to stop here out of hunger and we were really pleasantly surprised. I had an acai bowl here and my husband had a turkey sandwich. both were really good. they do offer a lot of options and flavors especially someone. looking for a vegetarian option. As a vegetarian I look forward to trying them again at a location closer to my home. read more

This location has some of the worst service I have ever seen. Every single time I go, they get my order wrong. Every. Single. Time. I asked for a Nutella Acai bowl, and when I open it, imagine my surprise when I see no Nutella what so ever. I cannot remember a single time this location has gotten my, literally not even complicated, order correct. On top of that, half of the workers are so rude. I had never noticed this little café until we were out looking for diesel fuel for the tractors and we just happened upon it. It's located in a very busy commercial section of Coventry. There are lots of stores around it. They have great parking and I really nice façade. I was very thirsty and in the mood for some thing cold and fruity. So this was the place. I went in to get a smoothie and Mike waited in the truck for me to come out and then go pick up a sandwich for lunch. When I went in I saw that they also had wraps and sandwiches and so I asked him to come in. I ordered a fruit smoothie that was a special. It was so good and tasted so fresh. I asked what they use as a base, whether it was milk or a milk product and they said that they just use ice and a little water with the fruit. It tasted just like fruit and it was so good. I got a Thai chicken wrap that was full of vegetables and had just a slight hint of the peanut sauce. Sometimes you can be overwhelmed by peanut and not taste the other ingredients but this was perfect. Mike got a jerk chicken wrap and it wasn't overly spicy which was nice. First time at this location. Have always been a fan of their smoothies. They are all delicious favorites are Mango sunshine and beach sunrise. I tried the Thai chicken salad today and was pretty disappointed by the small portion for $8. Mostly only spinach leaves with a few slices of grilled chicken and crumbs of wontons crisps. The dressing was less than desirable, almost borderline looking like slime. However, the worst was after taking a few bites, I realized the spinach leaves were sandy. I've been to this establishment twice so far and both times I was basically ignored for the first 5 minutes of me being there. Not sure what training needs to be implemented but a simple greeting goes a long way and is just the standard in any place of business. A quick "I'll be with you in a moment" would suffice but nope didn't even get that. Anyways on to the kitchen. First off, I have eaten here a dozen or so times. It has never been great but has been tolerable. The smoothies are usually pretty good, the food not so much. Today was especially bad all around. I ordered online, as I usually do. I ordered ahead to pickup in the drive thru, upon arrival the drive thru was closed - signs and lights off and staff ignored me at the window after seeing me clearly waiting there. I go inside, was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. After roughly 5 minutes of starting at my food ready behind the counter I asked if I should just grab it myself. There were two rude people working, one of which had their child running around. It was around 7pm and they were not busy at all, there was one other patron who was equally as frustrated as me. Service was the worst I've ever had and I've had a couple not so great experiences here. The smoothies were ok, not great and were much looser and seemed watered down. I ordered a FLAT bread and when I took it out of the bag I thought it was a wrap it was sooooo thick and was literally rolled in the paper like a wrap. It was the sloppiest flatbread I have ever seen and was by far the worst I've ever tasted. This disaster of a visit will be my last and a complete waste of $30, this is almost identical to the situation that occurred on my last visit in October. This made me want to write a review, it only received a second start because the smoothie itself wasn't horrible, other than that this was a one star visit. read more

Came at 7 pm and the restaurant closes at 8 pm. Girl working the counter basically refused to serve us as they were "cleaning up."
