After the lady served 4 walk ins I finally got up and said "hey, I ordered on the app like 20 minutes ago and haven't seen my order come up." And she had it behind the counter the entire time! Come on...I mean shame on me for not asking first but just get rid of the "to go / mobile order" station then if that's not the protocol. I waited a total of 30 minutes and this place should be a quick in and out. Worst tropical smoothie location ever!! I am a frequent customer of Tropical Smoothie. I go in at least twice a week, and for this location to be so messed up is a surprise to me! The employee didn't understand basic English and didn't/couldn't help my grandmother who didn't understand the menu. Also the smoothie was NASTY. I always order the usual Detox Island Green and this was not even full to the brim and it was so runny that I asked her to make a new one, then when she made a new one it tasted like green ice, not even a smoothie. The wrap came with a side (choice of banana, Apple, or chips), and it was under $10! We tried this place for the first time. The egg, cheese and sausage tortilla was delicious. By ordering a food item, the smoothie price is reduced significantly. Nice deal and the one I had with pomegranate and cranberry was yummy. My hubby got a bowl and was very pleased as well. It is very open inside and staff worked hard. They were kind. Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast. I went with a coworker and we gave a pretty big order. Two All American wraps, and four smoothies. I had the island green smoothie, which was delicious. For a Monday morning, the girl at the counter was very pleasant and efficient. Tropical Smoothie Cafe was an easy choice when I was in the mood for a smoothie. I visited TSC earlier this week with the intention of only grabbing my smoothie and heading somewhere else in search of some lunch foods when I realized they have a very great selection of light + tasty salads, wraps, sandwiches, etc. I decided to grab a very easy banana + strawberry smoothie aka Jetty Punch as well as an ultimate club sandwich. I spent about $25 between my lunch + my boyfriends. I opted to take my order to go as I realized the restaurant wasn't as presentable as I would've preferred being that some tables were left sticky with napkins or straw papers and I can see that the trash cans were overflowing. My order took about 15 minutes or so and I went about my way. When I finally got to sit down an enjoy my food (meals come w a choice of chips or whole fruit) I realized my selected orange was nowhere near ripe and my turkey club wasn't all that tasty but my smoothie definitely made up for it! This location is a horrible environment. Me and my sister walked in and we were given a rude impression almost instantly by a women with pink highlights. My sister said "Can I have a beach bum with white chocolate." We noticed a couple of seconds late that on the receipt It said dark chocolate. I saw they added a new smoothie for a limited time, so decided to try the Chia Banana Boost with Peanut Butter. It had Coconut, almonds, dates, cinnamon, whole grain oats, chia seeds & roasted banana with peanut butter. The flavor was delicious but there was something hard in the smoothie that every time I drank it I got this hard plastic like thing in my mouth that I had to spit out almost every sip I took. It definitely made me question what they actually put in my smoothie. I should have went back and asked them what exactly would be hard in my smoothie to where you cant even bite into it. But I was in a rush and it was on my lunch break and I didn't have time for that. I gave them three stars because I've had plenty of food and smoothies from this place and its never been bad until I got the chia banana smoothie.
