This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

This Publix store was a bit smaller and older but they still carried all the necessities one needs and then some. The workers that I interacted with in the produce, deli and grocery depts were all helpful and kind. The store wasn't very busy which was nice and checkout was fast. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because 2 products I picked up were expired. They had some good items at their markdown and clearance table and a few good specials on wine. My husband's favorite beer was BOGO so that was a big plus also!

First off, no cake cutting knife was handed to me, I had to go to Publix and they happily handed me one for free. I had asked them to put ribbon on the cake and instead I got a single ribbon design with some ugly dots around it.. looked like a breast cancer awareness month cake instead of a birthday cake.
