I've been here a few times. The first thing I notice is it's usually extremely clean. I normally do a takeout pickup order so I can't vouch for how crowded it gets. But their smoothies are pretty good. I like using the app so I get rewards. read more

I've been wanting to try this place but I'm never in the area. I had my first echocardiogram nearby so I was excited to drop in for a zero-cholesterol treat. If you love strawberries, I highly recommend the Sunrise Sunset smoothie It was absolutely delicious and hit the spot! I just wish there were smaller size options. I also want to highlight the customer service. Andrew, was incredibly kind and made an effort to connect with me. I mentioned that my name might be complicated to spell, so I told him to just use the letter "E." Instead of brushing it off, he took the time to ask how I spell my name--which I thought was really sweet. When I got my order, he spelled it with an "I" instead of "E," which gave me a good laugh. This is why I always tell people to just go with the letter "E" but I'll still get "Eve" or "Dee". Overall, I had a great experience with both the service and the smoothie. read more

Of all the places I've been to, Tropical smoothie cafe has the best açaí bowls in my opinion. The sweetness, topping options, and portion size is just the perfect balance. I've never got any of their smoothies, but the traditional açaí bowl is never a miss and a safe bet. For those who never had one, it's essentially frozen açaí berries blended with a choice of topping like strawberries, blueberries, granola, and drizzles like Nutella to put on top; each bite is a blast of all kinds of flavor and it's quite addicting and an awesome snack for me all year round. They also just came out with their dragon fruit bowl which is essentially the same method but instead of frozen açaí blended, it's frozen passion fruit blended with your assortment of custom toppings. Summer is coming up and if you're looking for a sweet, savory, cool snack, I highly recommend the traditional açaí bowl and don't hold back on the toppings & drizzle, the Nutella is really good on top, but honey is also a good substitute. The freehold location served the same quality of snacks as any other location, in fact their young staff were very friendly and efficient in making the orders. I've been to locations where people were slow and orders came out inefficiently. There is a lot of parking spaces and few tables inside to enjoy your snack indoors with a usual quiet ambiance. I wish I could give halfs, because I would go with a 3.5. I ordered here twice - once with door dash and once actually going in store which was today. I do not remember what I ordered when I got the door dash but it wasn't great, however, the smoothie was fantastic. Today, my husband and I ordered the 'Sunrise Sunset' smoothie which, again, was great! It had strawberries, mango, pineapple and orange juice in it. My husband got the 'Chicken Bacon Ranch' flatbread which he loved. He thought it was perfect size, fresh and wants to come back to try the breakfast. I got the 'Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was good, much better than I had the first time but overall... I found it to be just average. The service each time was quick and friendly. Lots of parking if you eat there and the store is spacious and clean. I will DEFINITELY come back for the smoothies because they are great. Ive lived in Freehold my whole life, and its been tough finding a decent, consistent smoothie spot thats close by. I couldn't wait to check out this new Smoothie Cafe. I was first overwhelmed by the amount of smoothie options as theres so many and they all sound super delicious, but I decided to try the detox island green smoothie, and I also ordered the chipotle chicken flatbread which came with a side so i decided to try the apple kale salad. The smoothie was right on point , and mostly certainly hit the spot, as for the flatbread most certainly delicious, its not super filling which is what I like about it, its right the right amount. As for pricing as say its somewhat fair might be a bit pricey but what isn't now a days? SO i do think its worth the price for what you get ! The staff is very friendly and really nice , as well as super helpful with ordering. The store is clean, plenty of parking and indoor seating. read more

been coming here since they first opened. i loved going to tropical smoothie cafe when visiting family in florida, so i was thrilled to see that they were opening a location nearby. they do not disappoint. the food and smoothies are always delicious and prepared with care, the cafe is always clean and tidy. most importantly, the staff are absolutely wonderful. i have never encountered a single rude employee there. they are always friendly and welcoming. i am quite the regular and i usually stop in to pick up a mobile order 1-2 times/week and some of the staff has remembered me, going as far to notice when i dyed my hair a different color. they really treat every customer with care and attentiveness. read more

I hate to say this but this reminds me of airport terminal food. The jerk chicken wrap was below average. It didn't have flavor and the chicken tasted out of a bag. The other wrap wasn't much better. The jalapeno corn may have been worse. The best thing I had was the prepackaged chocolate chip cookie. Doesn't seem like this place has an identity. have been going to Frutta Bowls for a few years and feel it has been getting bad. Was referred here by my son and it was great. We both had Summer Mocktail Smoothies that were delicious and refreshing. The sizes were generous and the place was clean with great service. Delicious smoothies and food! I did a pick up order and it was ready before the estimated time.
