Rude and nasty !!!! I walked in with my 5 pound 2 month old puppy to get a few cookies for my daughter after school. The owner came out allllll nasty saying I needed to get him out of here right now if he's not a service dog. I totally understand if there is a no dog rule. However it's not what he said they way he aggressively walked out and told me I had to leave. He then walked to the back and started to get upset and throw his hands in the air. I will never step foot in this place ever again. My entire family always comea here because we say how much it reminds us of our grandmothers kitchen. However after the way that rude man approached me never again . People will talk more about a bad experience then a good one . read more

I always crave a good hoagie , and usually buy cold cuts and make it myself but this time I decided to venture out and try and new place. Now the crazy part is ive lived across the street from this place for years and never tried and boy im a bit bummed I haven't gone in sooner. Im not sure where to begin but there semolina bread is delicious. I got a turkey and roast beef sandwich with lettuce tomato well basically the works . My goodness was it not a disappointment. Id say the priced were fair for the portion and the quality was good. The service was good , the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, they also had dinning tables to sit. This place is hidden in a strip mall and it is a shame that it is! Underrated spot that packs a punch. The italian sandwich was well made. The bread was the star of the show though. Soft and chewy. I love coming to Rosario's. The staff is super friendly. Quick to offer a cookie! Everything is here delicious; it's hard to leave with "just the one item you came in for". Their artichoke pie is to die for.....a must try. I get delicious Boars Head cold cuts here. Pastosa ravioli. Their chicken soup is homemade, and out of this world. My first experience at Rosario's was great. I have been looking for a place to get good subs in Freehold and I finally found one! The Italian sub I got was perfect - it actually had a decent amount of meat on it, the onions were so thinly sliced, and the bread very fresh. It's that kind of harder semolina bread that's kind of hard to break off, but delicious nonetheless. I also picked up a homemade cheesecake while I was there for dessert for a family dinner on Sunday. It was so light and fresh tasting - I'd definitely get that again. The staff is very friendly and their prices are reasonable, too. I'm looking forward to trying more things here! read more

There was enough good for everyone to have seconds (and in some cases, thirds) and just enough left for me to have a midnight snack after everyone left. I received numerous compliments on my buffet, and a few of the partygoers asked for the name and number. Chicken parm- A+ Penne vodka- A+ Sausage and peppers-A Antipasto- A+ You get the idea. Plus Tommy included a nice selection of sliced breads, a must-have for any Italian dinner. The finishing touch was a box of mini cannoli. I waited a while to have those with my coffee. There is no place in the area like Rosario's. Its a deli and they do have a few tables. Good food, prices are fair and their sandwiches are terrific. A true family run business. The owner works as hard if not harder than his employees. And the guy has zero tolerance for something not done right. What a pleasure!! The sandwiches are so neat and well made that is almost a shame to eat. But what can one do. They are so professional that is hard to distinguish who is family and who is the employee. Every time I go in there everybody is always very nice and polite. I've had their subs, grilled chicken sandwiches, meatballs and so many other things that I can't recall.
