Second visit here. Usually order from my home base at the Plano 15th street location but today I'm at work so I had to go to this one. Server Tyler was rude AF. Didn't acknowledge me really and asked for a babe for the order, yet didn't call it when it was ready so had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get it as it was sitting on their counter and no one was aware he made it. The real reason for the two stars is that this is now the second time my smoothie has been basically half full. At almost $8 a smoothie I expect a full drink. I'm giving them two stars simply because the Blimey Limey is delicious, but won't be bank to this location. There are other smoothie places around here that give you a full drink. read more

I was craving an açaí bowl so I came to this location because I noticed they were still open. I came in around 7:56pm, an hour before closing. The açaí bowl I got was not worth the 13 dollars, the base was not blended at all. It was still hard rock frozen, like I literally couldn't dig my spoon into it. I realize that I came in close to closing but if they could not make the bowl they should've just said so. The açaí bowl I got was grocery store frozen section quality which is unacceptable with the prices they charge. The smoothies on my visit today were fantastic as always, however, I didn't feel the staff was very welcoming. I got here and was the only one in the store at the time with my friends, i walked up to the counter and the lady taking my order had airpods in and couldn't hear what i was saying and i had to repeat my self four times. for the 2nd thing i ordered she had no idea what i was talking about and didn't know the menu at all, it took my food 15 min to come out and i was the only person in the store, when they came to the table they j dropped the food on the table and walked off without saying a word. then, when my friend went up to the counter to order his food, she repeated the order back to him that he had said, but he never got the food and it wasn't on the receipt. I ordered the usual Chia Banana Boost and Açaí Berry Boost. Both were watered down. The flavors could be more pungent. I let them know my concern for one smoothie because I didn't want to overwhelm them with the concern for both. The chia was made again and it tasted way better than the first time, but still not the same as to how I normally get it. I let them know to make it thicker and to bring out more of the oats and it was thin consistency like soda than a smoothie and just tasted like roasted banana. Smoothies! My go-to for a morning boost. Other folks are heading out for coffee - you don't know what you are missing. Awesome flavors in a 24 oz cup that currently is only $3 before 9am. Love it so much that I really hated that they opened later on Black Friday as my early start needed a smoothie kick. (No worries - they opened later as it probably didn't make since to open early that day anyway.) Fav is Bahama Mama. Protein can be added to make it more of a meal. I am good with the caloric count as it is about 300. Place is neat and clean - I don't always hang around but like the long table they have set up (as it is perfect for a little laptop work. Extra star is for the customer service and the app. Gives points for money spent with reward that will equal a smoothie. (Well, you'll have to folk out a few cents and tax.) My husband and I love the quality of this quick restaurant! We don't eat out very often but I was out running errands, was starving, and thought this would be a good quick option. However, I went in today and ordered sandwiches and smoothies for us and one of the teenage girls behind the counter was texting with her gloves on right next to the counter...first of all, this is completely unprofessional to be on your phone while customers are around. Secondly, phones are extremely dirty and bacteria-infested and it made me uncomfortable to know she would be preparing our food with her dirty gloves. Management needs to demonstrate proper glove usage with food preparation, especially during a time where every person is more hesitant and observant due to COVID-19. I particularly enjoy this location because the manager there during the lunch shift is so incredibly nice and offers great customer service. Well the food was delicious!! However, I am giving two stars because of the poor attitude of the young gentleman that helped me and my family. My sister invited me to go with her and her husband to get food at this location, and I had never been before so I went along for the ride. I had no idea that they closed at 7 (as I wasn't driving) and we arrived right at 6:50. I felt bad because I have worked in the customer service industry for a long time and I know it can be irritating to have last minute customers. BUT we are paying customers and that is that... The tall young man was visibly irritated the moment we walked in and when he began taking my order he was banging very aggressively on the tablet and then proceeded to say "this is to-go right?, since, you know, we close in.. (he proceeds to look at the clock) 9 minutes." I was immediately taken aback by the fact that he would be so blatantly rude. Unfortunately, he assumed I knew, and because I was simply a passenger, I had no idea. I really wanted a smoothie, but I felt so bad because he was making it clear I was inconveniencing him. I felt VERY pressured to just get the transaction over with. He hurried my sister along her entire order as well and continued to bang on the screen. He made it very clear he was not happy with us at all. BUT TO MAKE IT WORSE, he continued to talk trash on us in front of my sisters husband while my sister and I were at the outside table. He was complaining because he said he had just cleaned all the equipment. Look, I get it. I worked at DQ for 4 years when I was young, but come on man! We are paying customers and we were very apologetic for coming in last minute (which we really shouldn't need to do anyway since we are paying the business to be open). I am empathetic, but at least complain behind closed doors WHERE YOUR CUSTOMERS CANT HEAR YOU. Lastly, I asked for fruit as my side and this is the banana they gave me (pictured below). I will return once more to see how his demeanor is because I believe everyone deserves a second chance, but this experience was very poor. I hope he learns how to provide better quality service even if faced with frustrating situations. Edit: I should add that the young lady working with him was very nice and pleasant and never even acted like it affected her. She smiled and brought us our delicious pitas very quickly. read more

I ordered a Pesto Chicken Wrap (devoured before I thought to take a pic...sorry I was hongrry) & the Island Green Smoothie (greens like spinach & kale & fruit) I also subbed for Splenda (less calories) & added flax. So delicious. There is only one size and initially I thought I wouldn't finish it. But I did and I will be back. Service & Food was 5 Star all the way for such a cute cafe. If they had a drive thru I would probably stop here most days. Tip: there is a breakfast Happy Hour (50% off smoothies from 7am - 10am) noted in the door.
