Lights are flickering. Employees have their drive through headphone over one ear and an earbud for their phones in the other ear. The young woman I tried to speak to didn't hear me because of this. I finally did get her attention and she doesn't seem like she was trained to be attentive and helpful. I asked if something was dairy free and she said she didn't know. I had to push and ask for her to figure out. She didn't quite know how to check and I suggested looking on the container in the back. The smoothies were lacking in flavor also. Ordered here at this location and the meal was supposed to be ready by 7:03 I show up at 7:15 and the food is just being wrapped. I was handed my food and returned home to find that the employee put my order in a bad with a different lady's order. So I had to turn around and drive all the way back to the restaurant to get the correct order. Fact is each time I order at this restaurant there is an issue. They nickle and dime their customers. I had to pay $1.08 for jerk sauce because they don't put enough sauce on the wrap in the first place. Then they usually find a way to screw up the order. The fact that the district manager has not stepped in and found a way to correct some of these issues. I rate this restaurant a zero star. read more

Update: I did reach out on the website as directed and left comments along with contact information but I have yet to get a response or have anyone try to rectify the situation. Very unsatisfied, poor service, worse follow up. I wish I could have updated with a better report. Again I would choose a different location for your smoothie needs. read more

Never make my food right !! And I wait forever and my food still isn't fresh or just not even made right like for example I get the buffalo chicken wrap...it almost never have the right sauces on it no buffalo sauce or ranch ! I go here often because it's close to me but I'm about to just drive somewhere else ! It's a waste of your money read more

Terrible service! I have given this place multiple opportunities because it's the closest Tropical Smoothie but I will NOT return after today. They always manage to get my order wrong almost every other time i come which is several days a week. They are super slow even when no one else in line. Management needs to work with employees on accuracy. Today my husband order a chicken cheese quesadilla and his quesadilla had no chicken. I ordered a smoothie with no sugar and they made it WITH sugar. This review is not due to just one bad experience or I would not have taken the steps to share my experience as things sometimes happen but it's a problem management needs to address. read more

Wow. After ignoring us for 10 minutes, the staff spoke to us like we were street-corner beggars. Mouth-breathing side-eyes, staring at us while unapologetically telling us the things they couldn't or didn't want to make due to missing ingredients and their choice to turn off presses hours before closing. Didn't offer or provide the sides they rung up without asking us. Heard them ranting about the things they couldn't be fired for while we ate. Have a second star because the food we did order was actually decent. As a world traveler, American restaurants get more and more embarrassing by the hour. To be clear, we never confronted them. One of the very few locations with a drive-thru, which makes it an encouraging option when you're on the go. The smoothies are always reliably good but the service at this location can be messy. From long delays at the drive-thru, to frequently unavailable items across a number of menu items (I've heard everything from no blueberries to no oatmeal to no whey to no bananas in stock). It can be an exercise in frustration that makes one ponder the operational deficiencies unique to this location -- which rarely occur at others I've been to. On the plus side, the smoothies when available are really good. read more

The consistency and reliability with which this place manages to get my orders WRONG is astounding.When they first opened up, I attributed it to growing pains, but it was EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. My visits have become very infrequent. The wait time is long in the morning (there only ever seems to be one person working - working the drive-thru and preparing smoothies) and with 100% reliability, my order is incorrect. Understand, this is not an exaggeration. I have never once received a correct order from this place. Granted, I only work up the nerve to give it another shot every few months.Its a shame, because other locations never mess up an order, and this place is conveniently located near my work. Almost without fail, I receive a smoothie with the wrong ingredients. Most often, my smoothie has bananas in it, despite me ordering smoothies on the menu which do not contain bananas as a listed ingredient. This leads me to believe that their employees don't know how to make the smoothies or that they are not washing blenders between uses. Several times, I have ordered a smoothie and sandwich, had my order repeated to me, but when I reach the window to pay my total is different, and I only receive one of the items. I would suggest people with food allergies not to visit this location. You never know what may end up in your smoothie, because the only consistent thing you can count on is that it won't be what you ordered. This place is absolutely not worth the trouble. After receiving a poorly blended Avocolada this morning which is riddled with chunks of bananas (which are not an ingredient that comes in that smoothie) I won't be going back. read more

Would leave zero stars if I could. Pulled up at 6:30 pm to order dinner and was told I couldn't get a quesadilla because 'we deep clean our press at 6 pm and cannot make anything on the press after that time'. This location is a constant disappointment. read more

It took 20 minutes to make my sandwich when I was the only person in the drive thru. I stated they were running slow and the drive thru employee Johnathan yelled "Fuck you" as I was driving off. I have this entire interaction recorded on my dash cam camera in my car. I asked to speak to the manager on duty who proceeded to argue with me and did absolutely nothing about the situation. read more

When I go to Tropical Smoothie on Chenal during lunch they have a very long line of cars that moves very quickly. They are very accurate with the order and polite. So, I don't understand when I go anytime after 6 pm there are no cars yet I'm greeted with rude service and it takes four times the amount of time it takes for the lunch crew to get through all those cars. I see employees just standing around talking and they say nothing to you when they hand you your food. No "have a nice day" or "thanks for coming" or even a "hello" for that matter. I also got the sloppiest put together wrap I've ever received. I won't be back during the night shift and I don't know who put those employees in charge of the store. read more
