So who has time to write reviews all the time of all the great food and people we meet while visiting restaurants? That said, I feel inspired to take a minute out of my life and find out that this restaurant seems like a hidden gem. We've never heard of it before, and Tosca pointed it out out of the corner of our eyes as we were passing by. I think the restaurant looks very nice, Tosca pointed out that it is adorable and the decor is very relaxing. The service was phenomenal, and the people behind the counter are knowledgeable and very happy to help. Our server recommended the whipped carrot feta thingy, and it was superb. I had the sausage egg and cheese burrito, and it was spot on. Tosca got the El Goodo bowl, and while the ingredients were amazing and very nutrient dense, the flavor was amiss. This was remedied slightly by adding the roasted pineapple salsa from my burrito to her bowl. She also got the Go Greener drink, but it was lacking something as well. Not bad, it just needs a little zest or something. All in all, very good, and we will be back to try some of these other delicious looking items. read more

At the risk of embarrassing my grown son I felt compelled to ask the personable man behind the register here, "Is weed legal in Arkansas?" It's not, I learned, but studying the menu at City Silo you'd not be wrong to consider that, perhaps, there might be some buried in your food or green drink. The names given to menu items here are all playful riffs on the names given to THC and CBD products elsewhere in the country. Aside from the monikers, the menu here is a fever-dream of wonderfully healthful-sounding offerings and the physical space in which to enjoy it all is seriously perfection. It's immaculate and well-designed and just a charming place in which to spend an hour or two. Between two of us, a "Green Light Go" drink ($10.50 for a small), a "Super Classy" acai bowl ($13), and a "Kind Veggie Burrito" ($11) were consumed and we left feeling that this place practiced what they preached: clean eating, that makes you feel good about what you've consumed but also that you enjoyed consuming. My acai bowl was packed with so much good stuff (greek yogurt, almond butter, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, cashews, roasted pepitas, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, bee pollen, granola, and honey) that I wasn't even certain where the acai was. With an additional two outposts in Tennessee I can happily say that City Silo + Pantry would fit in perfectly in Northern California, perhaps in my neighborhood, where I'd be quite pleased to welcome them. read more

Overall, I enjoyed my time at City Silo. The customer service was amazing and each staff member was extremely accommodating. We enjoyed our juices and meals out on the patio and it was the perfect place to sit. The aesthetic inside was also nice and it was a few people enjoying their meals there, when we walked inside. We ordered 3 different meals and we enjoyed each one. Would I recommend this place, yes!! It's perfect for those who are looking to eat cleaner, healthier food that is well flavored. Over the past few months, City Silo has become one of my go-tos for days when I want something relatively healthy to eat for dinner but do not want to cook. Their menu offers vegetarian, vegan, and meat-based menu items with simple ingredients that taste wonderful but also don't lead to heartburn or other regrets post-eating. We used to really enjoy City Silo for their healthy menu options but the service this time was really lacking. We ordered lunch and the coffee came in dirty cups and the server admitted to pouring us the old batch of coffee. We had to ask for fresh coffee in clean mugs and when they returned with new cups they were still dirty. Our friends who joined us ordered a sandwhich with chicken but the sandwhich came out with no meat. When they spoke to the host their response was that they forgot to charge him for the chicken so he would have to go up to the register to pay and then they would fix his sandwich. The correct response would have been to just admit their mistake and bring out the sandwhich that he ordered. They also seemed slightly annoyed that we even brought these things to their attention. It would be one thing if this was during a lunch rush, mistakes happen, but the restaurant was not busy at all. It's a real shame because we enjoyed eating here in the past, probably our last time. read more

The smoothies here are sooooo good!! The restaurant has plenty of seating and big windows with lots of natural lighting. The service was friendly, and fast. Well all went well but just a tad short on personality. The food was good and wholesome. Food / drinks are all stand to order and then table delivered. Wait staff never asked if we needed or wanted anything else just pointed to the "water station" when I asked for the water I ordered. Not a big deal really but I selected a 15% gratuity for service on check out, for what I now know is non existent. Note: Coffee was excellent yet it was delivered in a large mouthed cup. The hot coffee quickly cooled and IMHO was not enjoyable. No refills.. No Warm ups..?? at least I don't think ... no one ever came around to offer. I think it has good potential but would give 3.5 if Yelp allowed. There are still some kinks that need worked out, but overall a good experience. Food: Sweet potato hash--this really wasn't much of a "hash" at all, it was just sweet potatoes with some seasoning. I expected the it to include peppers or other veggies to make it a real hash. They were yummy nonetheless, but came out half cold and had to send them back. Once we got them back, they still weren't hot. Hippie Scramble with Chicken--this was good! Has a lot of kidney beans which my boyfriend got tired of eating after about half the bowl. He was glad to have added the chicken. Sunshine burrito--SO good! And very filling. This was the highlight of the brunch. Def will get this again. Drinks: All That Beets--I really enjoyed this beet forward drink! Not too earthy and has a good balance of sweetness. Majik mushroom--super good. Tasted like chocolate milk! A bit on the sweet side, but would def get it again. Service: All of the staff was super friendly, but there are a couple things that could be done better. We did not know there was a water station or a condiment station and would be helpful to know at the counter we place the order at. The second thing was the timing of the order. The hash came out first--like a good 7 minutes before everything else. It was meant to be a side for the burrito so I'm not sure why it came out before everything (and cold). Next, the scramble came out. And about 5 minutes later, my burrito. The drinks came dead last. I did notice other tables were getting food in waves as well so not just our table. It could have been an off day, but I think once they figure out the timing of tables, this will be a really great choice for high quality, clean eating! read more

This is my first time here, and I've had a wonderful experience! The guy at the register, Ben, was super welcoming and warm! He was very helpful to myself and those around me. He didn't rush me as I was trying to decide what all to try, and he gracefully served us all, even as the restaurant started to get busy really quickly. The sweet girl with the tinsel in her hair (didn't get her name) was also super attentive and quick to help out! The food tastes delicious-- with simple ingredients but complex flavors. The music playing was peaceful and cozy, something like you would play on a calm roadtrip. It made for a great atmosphere to enjoy my yummy food. The huge windows probably make the place even more beautiful during the day with all the light they would let in, and the greenery scattered through the restaurant (including the labeled/named plants on the window sills) were a lovely organic touch to the experience.
