I've been wanting to try the Chicken Salad Chick for a while. I had an iced tea (1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweetened) and the Fruity Fran Sandwich (croissant) with broccoli salad. I don't love mayo and was pleased that the chicken salad didn't have too much for my taste. The fruity fran chicken salad was perfect for a hot sunny day and the broccoli salad was delicious. The meal came with a small cookie with buttercream frosting, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was great - order at the counter and it's delivered to your table in minutes. I did sample the watermelon sweet tea, but it was too sweet for me (so many years of drinking unsweetened tea in the northeast have left me finding it too sweet). Love the decor and ambiance. Wellllllll... every bite is absolutely delicious. One combo will leave you full filled but not heavy like fried foods. Came through drive thru and ordered THE chick Made sure I spoke clearly and slow so that it could be heard Drive thru operator kept rushing me through order as I am telling him I'm reading the menu, one sec pls .. so after I ordered my combo on a croissant I asked for it to be toasted.. I even repeated and asked if he heard, his reply was yes.. Drive around ,pd for my food, got order from a pleasant young lady, she handed me my order,I asked did they toast the croissant, she says No I stated I specifically asked for it to be, toasted, she said that they only do that on certain types of sandwiches.. I asked why didn't he say that before I ordered and spentcmy money.. She then asks, what would u like to do .. I said that I WANT MY CROISSANT TOASTED.. The drive thu service was so slow. The women that took the order kept yelling that she couldn't hear me. She repeated the order perfectly but then the order was totally wrong and what was made was terrible. The chicken salad melt that was paid for was a whole sandwich. We received a half sandwich of a burnt croissant with cold provolone cheese thrown on top with broccoli salad instead of the ordered soup. The other sandwich was wrong too. DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be back, I had the pesto turkey sandwich , fresh fruit as the side. My fiancée had the jalapeño holly chicken salad BLT sandwich, with the macaroni and cheese as the side.. The ONLY reason I am giving a 4, is because the croissant bun on my turkey pesto sandwich was not fluffy, it was hard. I wouldn't go as far as to say stale, but definitely not fluffy croissant. **edit** I DO NOT like sugar cookies AT ALL... But I gave this one a chance because the employee Tammera (I believe her name was) said to give it a chance because it's not like the store bought ones... This sugar cookie I just ate is DELICIOUS!! Food was really great, but fighting off the gnats/fruit flies was ridiculous. The buggers were relentless, I killed one and three more came at us. Landing on my plate, my cup, ugh...it was too much. If they're this bad in the dining area, how bad are they in back. I can't justify eating here with gnats as dining companions. I will say service was wonderful...but that's not enough. We had lunch at the new Chenal Pkwy location just west of Costco on Friday Nov 25 at about 1:00 pm. The store was busy but not crowded. Sarah and I bot ordered the Traditional Chicken Salad as a sandwich with a sides of potato soup and poblano soup. The food came out in about 5 minutes. The food and service were both excellent, and the order-taker spent enough time with us to explain the options on the menu. I asked about how much of the food is prefabricated, and the staff xplained that all of the chicken salad and sides are prepared in-house - they cook and prep the chicken in the store. The soups we had are pre-fabbed elsewhere and frozen, but are exccellent. Well-done, owners, cooks and employees. The store was spotless, servers attentive, and tables cleared and cleaned with haste. Well above the standards I usually see in Little Rock restaurants. We'll be back. read more

I have eaten at CSC in Huntsville, AL, for years & loved it. This franchise doesn't have the different varieties of chicken salad, & I'm sure the Carol in Huntsville isn't as mushy. This chicken salad has spent entirely too much time in the food processor, mushy instead of nicely shredded. The consistency seems to be too heavy on the mayonnaise as well. The counter staff seemed to be a little overwhelmed, probably in need of more employees as is the case everywhere. Even so, they were nice, & I appreciate that. read more

I met my siblings at this location and we all met up in the parking lot; we had not seen each other since last year, nor had we been together at all until the parking lot. After eating, we had to each go our separate ways again. About 5 hours later we ALL got sick! Same symptoms, same food, only one location! I reached out to Chicken Salad Chicks corporate location. A phone call from Paul, reached out to me. Never even apologized or cared that we all got sick from the restI rant in the least. I was treated so rudely. I had high hopes for a good soup and salad restaurant. I do not give bad reviews lightly. But, the negative ratings were correct. Save your money and go to your local grocery store. That seems to be what this place does. Also, the two ladies who took our order, could not tell us able any of the items offered. They just looked at you with a blank look. Their minds were somewhere else, although the menu was a little confusing. It is all about the food and service. Our order was not all we ordered. We did not comment to them about our feelings.
