It wasn't because they couldn't make change, but because the store has a policy not to accept bills over $50. Investing in a counterfeit pen could easily solve this issue. When it was our turn to order, we asked for a Mocha Madness, which is still listed on the menu. The attendant told us they had all the ingredients but weren't allowed to make it anymore due to a manager's decision. When I need a quick pick me up and don't necessarily want coffee and a fruit smoothie is what I'm craving, Tropical Smoothie is my go to! The cashier was super nice - I don't like a bunch of added sugar so I subbed Splenda and I forgot to mention it before I paid, the girl at the blenders had literally started my smoothie before I paid to be quick and efficient but the cashier was nice enough to tell her to put that aside and make mine with the alterations. My go to smoothie is Blimey Limey. ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I love the tangy of the lime but the sweetness of the strawberries and other fruit. I literally drink the entire huge cup they gave me. My hubby ordered a Paradise Point - it wasn't super sweet at all but very balanced, especially since he also subbed for Splenda. You literally can't tell the difference. My worst experience in a long time and terrible customer service. I give a long leash to food service workers bc it's a tough job, but I didn't feel like a valued customer today. I ordered a smoothie and a wrap through the Yelp app (which uses grub hub) at 5:30 and arrived at 5:50 to pick it up. The cashier said they hadn't checked their grub hub orders so they didn't start making it yet. You would think they would make my order quickly, right? Nope, the exact opposite. Had a negative experience last time I ordered. I ordered on Postmates at about 7:00 PM. The bowl came with one tiny container of dressing, which was about half what was needed. That in itself is not that negative as I am sure I could have ordered more sauce, but seems kinda cheap since the sauce has to cost cents. The main issue was to put my Postmates order over the minimum, I had to order 5 sides. I chose the Kale Apple slaw since I've had it before and it's good. The apples were mushy and the mayo or whatever was watery. This is obviously an old batch using old apples. The apple thing is its own issue, but the mayo issue is obviously due to mixing giant batches ahead of time and letting it sit. So now I have 4 more containers of crappy slaw. To be clear, I live right next to this location, so the Postmates "delay" was not the issue. For a place that is supposed to look and feel fresh, old slaw is pretty bad. That may sound dramatic, but I wouldn't serve old slaw to my worst enemy. I'm certainly not a diva and generally I never think "ugh this is old" at any given restaurant, but man fresh produce and mayo is another story entirely. Overall, I'd give the experience a two star, but since I have had positive visits in the past, I'll let it sit at three. I just worry the place is going downhill. To the managers/owners/etc. - Toss the old slaw OR make it in smaller batches. It's not a lot of labor to mix the already prepped fresh ingredients with the slaw mix! read more

Customer service is awful! I've been to this location over 10 times and it's always the same. Every employee acts like they hate their job. Moving slow, not greeting customers, not one smile... everyone acts put out when a customer walks in. Ive tried chatting and giving small talk and no response. They were barely mixed up. You want to know what taste horrible and doesn't fit through straw? Whole f'n OATS!!!! This smoothie was our standard go to smoothie. We have ordered the same thing for YEARS!!! (Even when they raised the price.) This location is close by and we are regulars. I didn't even get into how poorly we were treated because we commonly just assume they are having a bad day and try to be kind and ignore it. I placed an online pick up order here. Tried to have some grace for the wait time because they had been slammed with a large online order. But then I back to work and my hummus veggie wrap with no picked onions was a carribean jerk wrap with picked onions and spice. My lunch group chose this place on the recommendation of one of our members. She stops by regularly to get a healthy Island Green smoothie on her way to work. The rest of us had never been there, and we were pleasantly surprised. Among the four of us, we enjoyed Cali Chicken Club Flatbread, Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad, a Totally Turkey Wrap, and a Jerk Chicken Bowl. I've been noticing these places popping up around the metro, but wasn't aware of this location until randomly driving by. My sister and I stopped in to order something to go, and I chose the Thai chicken salad. I was going to get the wrap at first, but then noticed they had it as a salad too. I was definitely using the calorie count to guide my decision! The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the dressing has a great tang. The prices are reasonable also. The staff was very friendly and helpful - pretty sure she could tell it was my first time here. I'm a little surprised that the smoothies only come in the huge sizes. I love smoothies, but don't need one quite that large unless you are having it as a meal replacement, which is what I'd recommend. If you want it as a just a drink to go along with a meal, that will be a lot of extra calories and sugar that you probably aren't intending to have. read more

When this was being built, we were so afraid it was just going to be another dollar store or dry cleaners, or the third fried chicken place at that intersection. We were thrilled when we learned it would be a TSC! On Friday afternoon, K and I came for a little lunch date. I'd been out of town all week so we needed the catch up time. I ordered the Thai chicken wrap and it was so good! K ordered the combo that came with a chicken salad sandwich a smoothie - I couldn't believe how big the smoothie was - definitely enough to split. He got the acai berry smoothie and it was delicious. I think the way to order here is to get one combo with a smoothie to share (as long as you can agree on the type of smoothie), and then the other person can get by with just a wrap or sandwich or whatever. The smoothies are just so big, you don't really need two. We will definitely be back - and soon! So thankful for some variety in the area, and hoping for more healthy options in the new businesses coming in nearby. read more

A coupon brought us into this new establishment. That was wise, because now we will be customers! I had the Thai chicken wrap, sub chicken-free strips. Delicious, and I totally appreciate that option that is very very rare! Hubby had the totally turkey wrap. Both were lightly grilled for a slight crunch. I tried the kale and apple slaw which was so good. He had the fruit medley, which was like a glorified fruit cocktail tinged with honey. Maybe next time we will try a smoothie but if it's savory you're craving, check this out.
