It's a hot, steamy Oklahoma summer day and my family and I wanted to eat somewhere with a nice, well stocked salad bar. We knew Jason's Deli is the only place that fit the bill so we drove up to NW Expressway for our self commitment to eating a salad and we were NOT disappointed! We were greeted with a big smile and warm greeting from the manager, Katrina, when we walked in. We ordered our salads, Katrina told us how and where to go to get fresh plates (we each ordered an unlimited salad bar) and away we went. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating. The salad bar was well stocked, cold, and had all the options we wanted and more! While we ate, salad bar staff were keeping the salad bar stocked and clean, and Katrina came to check on us during the visit. Our family forgot we needed to bring a dish to an event later in the day so I asked Katrina if they could quickly cater a fruit tray for me. Katrina told me absolutely! And by the time we were all done with our meals, Katrina packaged up the freshest, most beautiful fruit tray that ended up being the biggest hit of the gathering we went to. And I need to add that the restaurant was pleasantly busy. People were continuing to come in and out, and Katrina and her team were still able to pull together such an impressive tray for us. We won't hesitate to come back. It was worth the 20 mile drive to make our way out to this Jason's Deli location. Arrived on a Sunday around 11 am and there was already people there. Kayla was our cashier and was very sweet. We got the whole ham and salami muffaletta. It was perfect. It's hard to find a good pastrami sandwich these days and I really loved the flavors of mine. Quick service - nice deli style ambiance and a great little lunch. I visited Jason's Deli with my Stepmom and Grandma in February. We dined at the NW EXpressway location. My stepmom and I both had guacamole and chips. When it came out the chips were more like crumbs and the guacamole was brown. Later that evening I had an upset stomach and so did my stepmom. The Manager Alexis said she was sorry and she would send me a giftcard in the mail. I wrote her again because I still haven't received it. She said she would talk to her team and see what they can do. That was five days ago! It should have only taken two to three days at most. After waiting in line and ordering $100 of food then having to wait on myself for food and drink then having to eat a sandwich that I could have made at home for a fraction of the cost i finally left. This was a group order for 8 of us. (We've used Jason's for much larger group orders up to 50 people with similar issues). Nothing was labeled so we had to open each bag to see what was in it and who ordered what. One drink was left off completely. My potato salad and broccoli salad was slung right on top of my garden salad instead of to the side. Such a disappointment. Pretty sure we won't be using Jason's for our group orders again. Other places label the bags with the person's name so now we are over here opening every bag of people's food asking if they had a certain side so we could figure out if the scratch writing on the sandwich containers were theirs or not. I have always enjoyed Jason's Deli in multiple states as I move around life. A couple days back I had the absolute worst dining experience I've ever had at a Jason's Deli. I usually get the manager's special with a fairly basic turkey sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup. The soup was not hot. My cup of soup had 2 noodles, for real, and 3 huge chunks of chicken that filled up the entire cup. My sandwich had the most stale bread I have ever consumed in my life. It was absolutely gross. I had two bites of soup and two bites of the sandwich before I walked out of the restaurant. I didn't complaint to the manager because I figured if the manager cared they wouldn't serve food like that in the first place. Jason's is always there when I need a break in the cycle! Today was no different I just needed a decent sandwich and salad. The Club Sandwich was perfect and then I built my own salad. I do things a bit differently when I'm building a salad at the buffet bar. I start with my dressing on the bottom and my lettuce and then add my toppings. Instead of the dressing on the top mixing with everything else I chose differently. By adding my salads I like I get to eat those first then work my way to the salad. I was excited to come since I was in town and we don't have one near us. I ordered my favorite meal and was told they'd bring it out shortly. I got my drink and found an empty table, which was easy as it wasn't busy. My favorite drink is the black currant tea. I've not had it since before covid, so I was very happy to get it today. I was sitting at the table, waiting for my meal for a bit when I noticed that the restaurant had started to fill up, and people who came in after me were eating. At first I thought it was because they got the salad bar, but then I noticed they were having actual meals. I thought maybe mine was just taking a long time, even though it was a simple turkey sandwich, so I started watching new people come in to see if they got their stuff. When about three more tables of people received their orders, I figured something was wrong. I went up to the counter and I told the guy I didn't get my order and he seemed confused, so I asked him if I could just go ahead and get a refund because I was holding people up and I don't like to do that. Anyway the food ended up being ready. He had put it as a to-go order, which I had ordered for dine-in. But also he said he called my name three times but the restaurant was extremely quiet and I kept looking at him and he would look at me and he never said anything so anyway I just got my refund and left. I still give it three to stars because the tea was really good, the manager was really nice and apologetic while giving me the refund, and gave me my tea for free, even though I said I would pay for it. I'm sure it was just a simple error as Jasons deli is usually pretty decent. I will return a few times I'm sure during my next visit! read more

Jason's is always where I go when I am craving a huge salad. They have quite a few other choices if you aren't feeling salad.. soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes. Everything is always delicious. Having not eaten here in several months, I noticed a few additions to the salad bar. Cole slaw, jalapeño ranch, and crispy onion toppings were all tasty. A few items didn't look super fresh but overall it was a good experience. I would love to have a paper cup option instead of water cups being plastic. Bu did I mention free ice cream for dessert? There once was a restaurant called Jason's Deli. They used to have this item on the menu called the Ranchero Wrap. I say "used to" but they still have it, although what they have now is not the Ranchero Wrap of old. It's like a Pseudo-Ranchero... A Diet Ranchero... Ranchero Zero. The meal I had yesterday was so terrible that this nonsensical diatribe should be the natural progression. Terrible experience. Terrible review. I used to eat the Ranchero Wrap all the time. Alllllll. The. Time. It was my go-to for a delicious and filling meal, and I used to pay in the neighborhood of $5 for my meal (it comes with chips). But then I guess food prices must have started going up, and profit margins were getting slimmer. I understood that some adjustments had to be made, but I didn't realize that the adjustments would keep coming so often. As a poor college student, I was sad to know that one of my favorite meal options was becoming less and less of an option as they kept jacking up the prices every six months. I'm no longer a poor college student and as I was driving by I thought, "Hey, Jason's Deli! You're hungry, you haven't been there in a while, and they have the Ranchero Wrap!" And that's how my stupid brain talked me into going to this stupid place. When I looked at the menu, the first thing I noticed was that the Ranchero Wrap was now $8.00 (actually $7.97 after tax). It still comes with chips and salsa (also known as watery onions and red food coloring; a Jason's Deli staple). The wrap had also gotten significantly smaller. Like... really, really small. Like... Okay, imagine if the smallest sandwich from Jersey Mike's had intimate relations with a wheat tortilla from Walmart, and the resulting tortilla sandwich baby was born prematurely (I'm not even sure how that terrible analogy came about in my brain and I'm sorry you had to read that) So let's see: - Significantly more expensive than I was expecting. Strike One. - Also significantly smaller than I was expecting. Strike Two. So you're asking, does it at least taste like the Ranchero Wrap of old? Abso-pauseforeffect-lutely not. It tasted like shame, and low-quality chicken that had been burned and combined with a watery concoction of ranch, old jalapenos, and my bitter failures, all very poorly wrapped into a mushy tortilla that was held together by a touch of despair. This place serves over-priced garbage masquerading as sandwiches. It's very obvious that while prices have gone up, they've also been cutting corners everywhere possible and it shows in the quality/quantity of the food. I'm really hoping that Jason's Deli (frontline, corporate, whoever else) staff reads this. If this location folded tomorrow, it would be a step toward the betterment of Oklahoma City. I can think of at least four sandwich places within a couple of miles of this place that would better serve your taste buds and your wallet. And they all lived happily ever after. I ordered from doordash but I can say that the staff is super friendly and accommodating becsuse when they were making my order they called me and let me know they were out of a certain item and offered to substitute it with items that were above and beyond what I even paid for like what restaurant ever does that? Just amazing experience overall. The menu and sandwiches are super customizable and very reasonably priced across the board. Me and my wife got two huge meals an appetizer and drink to share AND desert for just under $40 (AFTER DOORDASH SERVICE FEES!!!) The Salmon Salad is delicious. I've ordered it like 10 times. The salad bar is supposed to be really good too, but I like the Salmon Salad so much that I never have tried the bar. Came here for the first time for a quick lunch before heading to the golf course with the boyfriend. Place was clean and staff were helpful. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was delicious. I was also hungry so it pretty much hit the spot. My boyfriend got the New York sandwich which he really liked it but he could only finish half of the sandwich. It was piled high with pastrami. The food came out fairly quick after we ordered so that was good since we were in a hurry. They also give free ice cream too. read more

Curbside pickup is a joke. I called the phone numbers, was put on hold, someone answered and I told them my name. I was put on hold again. Someone answered and I told them my name, they said it would be a moment and hung up. Someone came out to my vehicle and asked the name on my order? I told them and I'm still waiting. The order was supposed to be ready at 1:26, it's 1:31 and still no food. Finally received the order. The sandwich container was laying on its side in the sack instead of laying flat. I really enjoy the food at Jason's Deli, today I called in my order and it was ready went I got there. I ordered the Manager's which is a half sandwich, a cup of soup and chips. I was in the mood for their piled high hot corned beef sandwich and French onion soup. With a short drive back to the office, my food was hot and delicious. My other favorites I recommend are New York Yankee. Muffuletta and the California club. They also-have a great salad bar.
