Since my husband and I have started trying to eat as plant-based as possible we've started frequenting this place. He comes here often to get smoothies as well as their sandwiches. I can definitely say I have never had a bad smoothie experience with them. His favorite is the Triple Berry oat but this particular time that I checked in I got the desert island smoothie. I always try to incorporate healthy greens when I get a chance into my foods and it was super delicious. He also got an egg breakfast wrap and we split the peanut butter and banana and granola wrap. Everything was super good. Each time we've been to this location we've always gotten great customer service so this is definitely one of our favorite spots to hit up on our days when we are being healthy. Went there today ordered the Island Green Smootbie, thought this would really help boost my immune system and fill me up. I did not taste any banana nor pineapple. The really sad part is all I tasted was alot of ice!!!this was not thick n rich with flavor at all!!! I couldn't believe how watered down it was. I can't believe there isn't a set recipe for the workers to follow because there was too much ice and no where near the fruit to make it creamy! I will say the staff were good at cleaning all tables,chairs, counters! That is great to see during high Covid outbreak. I live close and had always wanted to try this place! I actually had some coupons so I thought why not try! The prices are decent in my opinion. I ordered the peaches and silk smoothie. I think normally it was around 4.29 or so. I had a coupon for 50% off. Even if I did not have it for what you get definitely worth the money! There are different options to choose from and you can add things as well. I will for sure be back! I saw previous post about how this place is run by young people and teenagers. Because I work at the Dollar General in Freddy's Plaza, Tropical Smoothie's just a few yards around the building. It's your typical TSC with an island-like interior, bright colors, loud noises, and good food. The cafe is always clean and tidy, and the staff are GREAT to interact with. If you work in the plaza, you earn an automatic 10% discount on meals, but you have to make sure you mention (and prove) it. Love the food, love the smoothies, love the people here. :D read more

I've had negative experiences lately with TSC... entering this location it was packed unlike usual.. granted it was a hot Sunday afternoon, understandable.. I ordered a smoothie and wrap.. while standing watching I saw the employees incorrectly making smoothies to the point they were adding tap water to loosen the thickness.. once it was time for mine to be made I watched an employee scrape the side of my cup with her finger and add the dripping smoothie back into my cup..
