Corn side . They push it up so it can hold less

Last 3 times i went there . Placed my ordered for wraps and sides . The sides dish you get screwed on. Thought it was just a mistake or bad container but 3 times in the last 3 times i went..? Really?? Pay enough for these things and get screwed with denting in the container to give you 30% less of that side . If it happens again , they will be doing my side again in front of me as well as getting some compensation for this sneaky crap

Got the beach bum smoothie and buffalo chicken wrap and it was all so tasty and big portions too. Fast service highly recommend them.

I really like this place. It's a small casual cafe that sells different types of smoothies and sandwiches. They have healthy smoothies and traditional smoothies as well. For food, they serve sandwiches, flatbreads, salads and wraps. I usually order the Island green smoothie (kale, spinach, mango, pineapple and bananas) It's so good! Comparable to Jamba Juice with more reasonable prices. Be sure to check the paper menu for what ingredients are in the sandwiches because the menu on the board only shows the name and not the description, unlike the smoothie menu on the board.

Love going here for a nice açaí berry boost. Their promotion for half off during morning hours is over so I'm a little bit upset about that. It says If you check in you could get a free smoothie. But I checked in and it said that you can get a free smoothie only if you buy a sandwich.

I've been hearing so many good things about this place and saw everyone on campus with their smoothie so I decided to finally check the place out after being at CSI's 1R for 3.5 hours running on half an avocado! Anyways! The place wasn't really busy on a weekday around 5-6pm & the place looked clean! A little small around the ordering area but good amounts of seats and tables for sit-in. The workers were super friendly as I was overwhelmed with what to get (I don't go well with so many options!) but it came down to doing a combo/ meal which consisted on a smoothie, sandwich and a side. Let's say I was VERY satisfied with my order which was ~$11 something. The smoothie - I got pomegranate plunge, yum! - it was in a large styrofoam cup which really surprised me because I was expecting a smaller cup; the sandwich was really yummy too! I ordered the turkey bacon ranch and I got a side of fruit medley :) (On a side note: I didn't get a picture of the sandwich bc I got too hungry.. oops! But it was well presented and was delicious). Proportions were great with its prices imo. Can't wait to go back to try other things!

Workers are really cool and helpful. Smoothies are pretty big sizes and really good! Love there wraps which comes with a side. They offer more than that. Open pretty late and good music flowing. I would go back since it's close to my work area and don't wanna eat heavy since I do work the overnight vampire life. Located inside the Coral plaza next to DDs.

    Blueberry bliss, $5.98, after tax

I was in the neighborhood and I was craving a smoothie and this place hit the spot. I got the blueberry bliss, which had blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. The total was $5.98, after tax, which is very cheap considering the size. In Manhattan, a smoothie would cost $6-7, sometimes even $8, and it would be smaller. Even though it has bananas in it, it was on the icy side, instead of creamy. And it's more on tart than sweet. It was served in a styrofoam cup, so it took awhile to melt.

    Avocolada smooth sweet and awesome!

I have tried two wraps and a flatbread sandwich from Tropical Smoothie as well as different smoothie on every visit. What a great place! The food tastes great and is guilt free. Hey if you have a sweet desert it is just one cookie. Jerk Chicken and Thai wraps were both awesome. Pesto chicken flatbread was also great. Smoothies tried were the Acai Berry Boost, Watermelon Mojito and todays shake the Avocolada. This was one of my favorites. Avocado, pineapple, spinach, kale, coconut & lime. The only complaint I can make about the smoothies is that they don't make it back to my job site in time. They are huge and I still find myself pushing thru brain freeze to choke them down. Resturant is clean and the service is friendly. It is one of my go to spots for a healthy meal now. Thanks Tropical Smoothie Cafe!

I brought my family for an April 5 2026 Easter brunch. The food quality was mediocre. They even ruined a simple matzoh ball soup. I ordered the "Dill combo" and I got a small 1/2 of a pastrami sandwich it looked like a quarter of a sandwich and the pastrami was over processed and bright red looking and floppy and disgusting it was low quality. I will definitely not go back here. The matzoh ball soup tasted like dish water it was in a "chicken " soup" with no flavor and the matzoh ball was hard and uncooked properly in the middle: very unprofessional. A matzoh ball should be yellow and fluffy and light. This was dark colored and looked old and was hard The pastrami tasted overly processed and I didn't like it Coleslaw was not tasty or salted The salmon was not on point and didn't taste fresh or have capers. They served it on a brioche bun. Seriously? A brioche bun? The challah French toast was tasty and my son appreciated that it was hot and fresh. The water had an actual mint branch in it and it was room temperature. Glasses looked dirty There was no sign for it when we were driving. It's located in a plaza. Every store on the strip has a sign under the plaza sign except this place. There is very limited parking and this place can't decide if it's Jewish or French with the decor of bright yellow wallpaper and small English tea cups. They blare loud music nobody knows why. They have a gigantic TV on the wall blaring . To go to the bathroom there is 1 stall for the whole restaurant. In order to get there you have to pass the kitchen window with the food to be served waiting to be picked up at the counter. Unsanitary! I had to walk past the waitress trying to get to the food that was on the ledge in order reach the stall Owner should pay for a sign so people know where this is Lovely wallpaper P.S. I vomited when I got home Save your hard earned money and go to the Stone House at Clove Lakes Overall I will not return

STARBUCKS WHO?! The Best Bagel Spot You Are Entirely Ignoring in the "Forgotten Borough."…read more Let's be honest for a second. We live in Staten Island. We know good food, but we also get set in our ways. We walk the same blocks, we drive the same avenues, and we mindlessly queue up in corporate drive-thrus for burnt espresso (or food) because it's "convenient." Well, I am here to officially staging an intervention. Two weeks ago, I was walking past the Dollar General, completely blind to my surroundings, zombie-walking my way back toward Starbucks. That is when I saw the sign for Poppy Seed Bagels. After a local native whispered absolute prophecies into my ear about a mythical "French Toast Bagel with Cannoli Cream Cheese," I knew I had to make the pilgrimage. I have lived here for almost a year. Why did none of you tell me about this place? Seriously, I need answers. Are we hoarding the carb secrets now?? Like c'mon, f'real???? lol The Vibe: Small Footprint, Massive Inventory. When you first walk in, the shop presents itself on a smaller scale, but every square inch serves a distinct, glorious purpose. To your left, an absolute wall of refrigerators spans the room. They have every liquid refreshment known to mankind: cold brews, espressos, energy drinks, sodas, and teas. If you can drink it, they have it chilled. The Ultimate Coffee Loophole As a "self-proclaimed" coffee fanatic, this is where I nearly lost my mind. You pay for a coffee. Just a coffee. And then? You pick whatever size you want. Let me repeat that for the people in the back. You pay one flat rate and you can walk away with a large. (like whaaaat?) We are strictly not talking Starbucks vibes here, nope--no siree. Then you hit the mixing station. I am a French Vanilla creamer devotee, and they had an entire lineup of premium flavored creamers, flavored shots (hazelnut, etc.), and a shaker of freshly ground cinnamon powder. *YUP* Shaking real cinnamon into a piping hot, perfectly brewed coffee felt less like a morning routine and more like a religious experience. Was I awake? Was I dreaming? Was I in coffee heaven? It felt way too magical to be in the "Forgotten Borough." The Main Event: The "Perfect Bagel" Look, I went in with one mission: get the French Toast bagel. Naturally, because the universe loves a plot twist, they were fresh out. The neighborhood hype is real, and the early birds caught the worm. Undeterred, I pivoted. I ordered a perfectly toasted sesame bagel slapped with that famous cannoli cream cheese. I snapped a picture, texted it to a friend, and captioned it: "The perfect bagel." Mind you, this wasn't even the French Toast flavor I came for! If a backup option can elicit that level of emotional texting, that alone speaks volumes. The bagel had that flawless crunch on the outside, a soft, pillowy pull on the inside, and the cannoli cream cheese--an absolute, pure, unadulterated delight. Sweet, creamy, and decadent. So delicious. While sitting there in a literal cloud of French vanilla, cinnamon, and sesame bliss, I watched the digital menu monitors loop videos of their special custom creations. Lox bagels, hot pastrami builds, and wild culinary concoctions that had me salivating mid-chew. I am already scheduling my next trip back specifically for the French Toast and, yeah, maybe the pastrami too. Why, not! Hospitality That Hits Different: A restaurant can have great food, but small businesses win our/my heart. The staff here is exceptional. The girls at the counter were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Furthermore, a tall gentleman who was busily cleaning the tables noticed that I have some trouble walking. Without me even asking, he took it upon himself to go up to the counter, grab my food, and bring it directly to my table. There are only a few tables inside, but that simple, proactive act of kindness transformed a quick breakfast into a memorable dining experience. The Verdict: Whenever I am in the area again and have to choose between corporate green-apron coffee or this local masterpiece? Ahem--excuse me---Starbucks who? This will now be my go to spot. I am a massive supporter of small businesses, and Poppy Seed Bagels is doing everything right. Hello---stop gatekeeping this place! People just got to know! :-) So... Go... Go support them, buy a giant coffee for the price of a small, and pray they have the French Toast bagel waiting for you---if that's your thing or not. ;-)
