$130 for a chain restaurant for 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 drinks and 2 beers is insane. The appetizers were good, my son wanted a crispy chicken sandwich with nothing on it, in which they charge for a higher priced sandwich then 'remove' toppings on the bill but still $19-$20. I ask for Onion rings instead of fries for my lower than mediocre cheeseburger, and get 5-6 onion rings for an extra $3.99. So 2 brewtus', 2 soft drinks, boneless wings, quesidilla, a sandwich, a cheeseburger, and a grilled chicken platter equals $130 before tip. Its Applebees. I never complain about a high bill, but for this mediocre stuff at applebees???? How do they expect to stay in business for long? Not worth it: go to any other non chain restaurant for something much better and even slighlty cheaper. 2 stars cause the server was OK even though she could have easily found a way around charging $4 for 6 onion rings and a way around the $20 chicken sandwich. read more

Heard about Applebee's are open at the boulevard wanted to try it out. When we walk in they check the vaccine card which is a plus. The restaurant is pretty big and a little cold since air condition is on. The booth are pretty comfortable. There are tv almost every where which is good can watch some football game. The staff are very friendly. The service is pretty good. The foods came pretty fast and very tasty. Will definitely come back here again. read more

We showed up here close to noon. Restaurant was mostly empty but a few tables and a couple of them were occupied by employees either having lunch or on their phone. I waited for a hostess to seat me for about 20 minutes, before I got annoyed and left. My dining partner even went to the restroom while I waited with no luck. The employees seated just glared at me never offering to help or at least let the staff not on break know that there were customers waiting to be seated. At least this helped me find a local small mom and pop eatery that was very delicious with awesome customer service! read more

I know that with Applebee's, its not uncommon to expect food that was once frozen. However, when I went here the food was still half frozen. Also, I ordered a salad and it was completely and totally DRENCHED in dressing. It is as if they poured an entire bottle on this one salad. It was gross. Horrible!!! Service was terrible!!!! And that is being kind. There was an over abundance of servers and still waited over fifteen minutes to order. We were seated next to the order kiosk and had to hear them complaining and talking about customers amongst others things. Once we ordered an ice tea and seltzer it took another fifteen. No lemon! So why did you ask ? Server that finally came over ( the one doing the most talking ) said oh your server is tied up in the back. I will take your order. I hope she really wasn't tied up !!! Food was horrible! Missing dressing asked two people for it and it finally came. Lastly server came with the check and told me to go on line and pay. Never even asked if I wanted anything else. I have not been to Applebees since Covid started and a new location was recently opened. I found it to be as good as before the pandemic and the service was excellent. The owner Anthony was super friendly and warmly greeted on entry. Tim the waiter was first rate with his service, recommendations and overall help. The potatoes and corn are now brought in fresh and you can taste the difference. I ordered the snow crab boil and it was so good I forgot to take a picture. I have to give it up to this Applebees location especially to Nick. Nick was the bartender when I was there today at around 2pm. This guy is everything you want in an employee. He was nice, friendly, hard working, making sure everyone not only in the bar but in the bar area was eating and drinking, it seemed like from what I observed, the customers and his fellow employees were very fond of him. Little does he know I have worked in food business for a very long time and was very impressed with his work, multi tasking ability and cleanliness he had while I was there.I go to a bunch of places weekly and make sure everything is up to code now. I wasn't on the clock but I always look around since that's what myself and other do, whether I'm on the clock or not. When I asked him his last name I think I surprised him and I think he thought I was unhappy with him but it's not like that at all. I did say as I left it's nothing bad and it is nothing bad. I just want to give gratitude where it is deserved and for him to continue his hard work. From one food industry employee to another, keep slaying. read more

Walked in the door, only three tables had customers, n no workers or servers were around. After a few minutes waiting someone came out and sat us, we looked at menus n were ready to order but no one came over to table to even take our drink order. We sat patiently another 5-7 minutes n when I looked u saw two waiters near bar n one bartender, I asked if anyone was working, they Ignored me n the two waiters walked off in the opposite direction, so I got up and approached the bartender and asked to speak to the manager. She completely ignored me, but spoke in her headphone, so I walked away n we left. I love Applebees food, but will never ever go to that location again. The disrespect from the employees shocked me, n left a really awful taste in my mouth. Be warned. Do not go to Hylan Blvd location, travel further out and try another one. read more

Wonderful experience!!!!! I went for lunch today at Applebee's. You are asked to show your vaccine card which is a positive move towards safety. Our server was Janet...she was amazing. Couldn't do enough for us....so kind and accommodating. We had my friend's little support dog with us. The whole staff smiled when they saw her. The manager, Jennifer, came over to say hello.
