I ordered the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli, it was a five star meal. The chicken was moist and the broccoli wasn't tough at all. It was the perfect temperature too. The beer was perfectly cold! Just the way I like it. The food came fast, and so did the beer. Leighann K. Is a great waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. The restaurant was clean, and well maintained. Definitely coming back again!

I came here yesterday at 3pm and it luckily wasn't packed! The service was really good as the waitress always came by to make sure we were happy. She even helped us save money with our orders! We ordered the 2nd or 25 (great deal). The food came out delicious! I ordered Chicken Wonton Tacos for the first time and I definitely recommend them ESPECIALLY if you're attempting to eat clean! We even went for dessert and of course their classic Triple Chocolate Meltdown (my favorite). Definitely recommend coming here with friends and family!

I dine at this Applebee's for convenience since it's the closest one to me. For the most part, all of the staff are friendly. I went once on a very busy Thursday night but my party and I decided to wait. I gave my name and stood right in the front to ensure that I could hear my name being called. After waiting for about 25 minutes, I asked the hostess how much longer my wait was. He asked me my name then proceeded to say that he called my name about 15 minutes ago. I told him that was impossible because I was standing right in front of him the entire time so he must have pronounced my name incorrectly. So basically, I was standing there all that time for nothing. Other then that, I haven't had any negative experiences. All of the waiters I've encountered are friendly and patient.

5 stars for service and great food. I always come here for half priced appetizers which starts at 10 PM. I came on a Tuesday night and it was reasonably crowded but was still seated almost immediately for two. Our server was super nice and prompt. Our food came out hot and fresh. I highly recommend ordering the double crunch bone in wings with the sauce on the side! The wings always come out super crunchy this way and you can control the sauce. The spinach and artichoke dip is a must try!

They quoted us an hour and 45 minute wait -- way too long -- so we made a game-time decision and went to Miller's Ale House instead. Honestly? Very glad we did. We stopped by on a warmer night after a week of being snowed in, so I'm guessing they may have been caught a little off guard because they were definitely understaffed. We were quoted a 35-minute wait and ended up being seated in about 30, which was appreciated. There were quite a few empty tables, but it was clear they were trying to keep the load manageable for the kitchen. Our server Jack apologized for the backup and genuinely did his best to stay on top of things while juggling a lot of tables -- no complaints about the effort at all. We started with wings, which were solid. For entrées, we had the chicken quesadillas and the steak & shrimp combo -- both were good and hit the spot. Overall, it was a decent experience. Restaurant was clean and well kept. The only real downside was the lack of seating for people waiting -- we had to stand the entire 30 minutes, which wasn't the most comfortable. With a few adjustments on busy nights, this place could easily be a 5-star visit.

Upon getting there, it is a nice Marina bar that has a grave a lot. We walked shortly from the parking lot and got seats of the bar right away. There was a good amount of people there for a Saturday afternoon. However, we were helped right away. Their beer prices are pretty phenomenal in my opinion. The selection I think is pretty good too. We were speaking with one of the people behind the bar and they said the plan is to also have food trucks here eventually as well for a food option. There is ample seating here as you can see from some of the pictures I took and the two staff we talked to were very friendly. One thing that could be a pro or a con depending on your disposition is that this is an outdoor bar. There are a lot of fans going and it has a very nice breeze. How over on a hot day where something loose and breathable. However, in the spring and fall I can imagine this place having a big crowd because it seems like a really nice place to have a drink and hang out. All in all. If you're local, I would definitely come check this place out. We will definitely be back in the future.

The whole situation felt very shady and poorly handled. Eventually, he came back and claimed the original charge was voided and that I would be charged the correct amount instead. However, when I asked for proof or a void receipt, he told me they "don't do that." I even showed him the pending incorrect charge still on my card with no sign of a corrected charge or void. The manager came over and tried to explain things, but while I was calmly asking reasonable questions, the waiter suddenly started scolding and yelling at me in front of my daughter. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The manager did apologize for his behavior, but the damage was already done and we left. To make things even more uncomfortable, earlier during our meal the waiter actually sat down in our booth and said, "Do you mind if I sit? I'm very tired." I understand people get tired, but that felt very inappropriate and unprofessional. I've never had an experience where I was yelled at by restaurant staff simply for questioning an incorrect bill. Customers deserve better treatment than this.

This brand-new spot on Forest Avenue is a sleek, modern izakaya that feels like it was plucked straight from Tokyo and dropped into the heart of the borough. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is electric--warm wood tones, soft lighting, and a lively open kitchen where the chefs are slicing fish with samurai-level precision. I started with the Hamachi Carpaccio, drizzled in yuzu-truffle ponzu and topped with microgreens and crispy garlic chips. Each bite was a perfect balance of buttery yellowtail and bright citrus pop. The sushi omakase (chef's choice) was the star of the night. Standouts included: Bluefin Otoro so melt-in-your-mouth rich I almost cried. Uni from Hokkaido--creamy, briny, and served at the perfect chill. A live scallop nigiri still twitching on the rice (yes, that fresh). But Oishi isn't just raw fish heaven. The izakaya side shines with small plates like Wagyu Beef Skewers glazed in a sticky-sweet tare, and Truffle Miso Black Cod that flakes apart like edible art. Even the vegan options (grilled king oyster mushroom "scallops") had my plant-based friend raving. Cocktail game? Chef's kiss. The Yuzu Gin Fizz with shiso leaf garnish is dangerously drinkable, and the sake list has gems you won't find at your average spot. Service was attentive but never hovering--our server even explained the difference between akami and chutoro without making us feel like amateurs. Prices are fair for the quality (omakase ~$85, rolls $14-$18), and portions are generous. They're still in soft-open mode, but you'd never know it--everything ran like clockwork.
