This is from March 2021 - I forgot to finish & post my review. We were traveling from Sedona, AZ back to KC through OKC. This was our 1st time having a meal from Tropical Smoothie and it was spot on! Service was friendly and fast. Food very fresh. Will be dining at another location soon as we were passing through. We had the Chicken Caprese Sandwich and Bahama Mamma Smoothie. They were also kind enough to provide cooked chicken breast strips for our Golden Retriever. We were all pleased with our lunch. read more

The staff was friendly and my food came out quick. Place was nice. My drinks had a bit of a wait but there were quite a few people so that was to be expected. The 3 cheese chicken quesadilla was yummers I highly recommend it. It scored a solid A tier on my chicken quesadilla tier list. read more

Size of the smoothies are large! Enough to drink on for a few hours. So many different options and they let us substitute. You can change the amount of sugar you want which is nice. The food is actually decent too! Was quite surprised at their options, portions are good and they had meat alternative chicken products for vegetarians. We've had the hummus wrap and the jerk chicken (with fake chicken), and the apple slaw. Not a huge fan of the slaw but the wraps were great. read more

This location never seems to be able to adhere to the curbside order. It's pretty sad when you walk in and you are not being helped because somebody is too lazy to bring your order out to you which you've paid for on the curbside app. I'm sure they called me a Karen today and I'm OK with that. I been coming to this location for years, a few years ago as you can see in my photos the food was almost perfect! Then the other day when I ordered a cali chicken club flatbread, I was in shock! It looked they way it tasted! Soggy!!! I never had this issue with tropical smoothie and their food. I will continue to come here and see if anything changes because I do love their cafe!! read more

Since a certain boba place in Yukon decided to renovate for like a year, Tropical Smoothie has been a nice place to get a drink and relax with friends. I'm not crazy about smoothies, but something about a tasty drink consisting of fruits makes me feel good and healthy. Yes, I know it's a lot of sugar, but fruits and veggies don't fit into my diet very often. Prices are fairly high as you'll probably end up spending at least $5, but it is a big cup. Apparently the food is good but I haven't tried it yet. I'll be sure to update this once I do though. The wait can be a little long at times. Maybe I went when they were training people, but it was almost empty and it took 10 minutes to get my order. Overall, a nice, little establishment that I'll be back to soon. read more

Great smoothies every time, but this location in particular has a very dull manager. She was very blunt and it was borderline rude. Seemed like she didn't have time for us (even though we were the only ones in the store). At one point she was speaking to an employee and got frustrated that he couldn't understand her, she tore off her mask and spoke in his face. Just seemed unprofessional overall. Have tried several times ordering curbside but each time I end up going in to get it. Each time there are 3 employees working with one just standing at the register asking to take my order. Today I waited 20 minutes in my car to see if they would eventually bring it out, nope! And my Beach Club salad did not have chicken on it. Won't be back to this location. read more

Probably the most frustrating experience, the worker didn't even know about the $1 smoothie. it was very unorganized and he didn't help in the slightest. I ended up having to pay the full price because he was not price. The manager did not help either and they just stared at me like I was an idiot. read more

I stopped here for the very first time ever for a smoothie. I thought it was just a smoothie place given its name but they have sandwiches and snacks here as well. I ordered the mango, kale, spinach, and ginger smoothie and I thought it was just okay. It definitely does not taste like it was made with fresh ingredients so $5 for a smoothie was kind of pricey. They say computer went down which I understand but only one of 4 employees making the sandwiches which many have waited for over 30 min. Also they did not answer phone for carry out. The past two times I have ordered the Super Chicken Caesar Wrap, it has looked, smelled and probably would have tasted like cat food. It was soggy and just straight up disgusting. This is a nice place to get a smoothie. Great variety of smoothies and meal menu. If your are calorie or carb conscious this may not be your go to place. I didn't realize the Detox Island Green has a ton of carbs but is a low calorie drink. The service is excellent, the place is clean and my main attraction is their Happy Hour. My biggest issue is that if you get a drink and a meal you will eat a lot of calories. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. The service here is terrible. Majority of young kids/adults that seem to have no work ethic and big attitudes. Several times we've had to call our orders in again to make sure they didn't keep missing them. Overlooking orders isn't something a place like this should be doing. I've never seen a place that has its system go down as often as this place. Who's running your systems? Obviously not someone competent. The establishment is bright and clean, the food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Not to mention I feel better eating healthier. I wanted to give more because the food is amazing but the place is ran by children and that means the same thing each time I encounter this: DIRTY! The food is fresh and smoothies are great, this place can do really well here, but not if they don't get some management going, even on the weekends. Nobody wants to eat in filth. We walked in and nobody was here but employees, all the tables were filthy, trash cans over-filling and the cashier kept asking other employees to find "Makayla" who I am guessing is the kid in charge. My food was not brought out on a tray and no napkins... Usually the entire presentation is pretty cool. Basically, come here during the week when there is a vested employee working. I gave it 2 stars because the smoothies are good. It's run by unenthusiastic teenagers. It's dirty every time I come in. The shift manager stands and talks to employees while the store is full of customers. The cashier fumbles money around and then, without washing her hands, starts making a smoothie!!! No one wears gloves while preparing the food/smoothies. They mix ingredients in the cooling station so you may be getting sugars or nuts in your smoothie when you don't want them! I watched the girl make my smoothie and she certainly did not add an extra scoop of whey protein like I paid for. There is no authority in this cafe. No one in charge. It's pretty nasty. Come to think of it, I don't really know why I continue to go there. I have made my last trip to Tropical Smoothie in Yukon, unless management takes back the authority and runs this place like a restaurant should be run!!! read more
