Picked by a friend, otherwise I never would have found it, I highly recommend you give it a try. The lunch I had there was supreme! Never before have I had stewed oxtails that taste this good. Usually there is a somewhat bland, fatty taste but none of that here. Instead there were seasonings that brought out more flavor from the meat which clung to the bone instead of falling off. My visit was during lunch hours and it was not that busy. They have some DJ and lighting equipment set up for later hours. It probably be a interesting place to visit then too. read more

This was my first time trying this place and it was so good. When I walked in I was immediately greeted. I ordered stewed chicken over yellow rice and it was excellent and filled with flavor. I'm sorry but this place is horrible. I am puertorican and never in all of my years of life have i ever had a place use par boiled rice for their spanish rice!!! I couldn't believe that's what they sent me. Then my entire order was wrong they forgot my salad and my sodas I had to go back and the lady gave me an attitude about my missing items. Food was not great meat had a lot of fat and my meat was missing it was mostly all potatoes. I'm so upset this is crazy. Never spend your money here the food just isn't worth it!!! read more

I had the oxtails and rice and omg! I'm Jamaican abs this is the next best thing. Hit's close to home cooked meals! The only issue I have is that it's difficult to communicate what you want as well as oxtails aren't always there. Food is really good but when you walk in be prepared to scream your order and they still can't hear you or get it right because the music is so so so loud. Don't get me wrong, the music is amazing and the vibes are cool if you at a club or lounge. But if I'm ordering food, I expect you to get it right the first time, not repeating myself over and over and over because of the music. It's common sense really. Just turn it down a bit. Check your food before you leave too because they might forget to pack some things in the bag. Also, their menu is totally different online than what they actually have in store. I had a certain price in mind of how much I want to pay and end up paying more than I anticipated. That needs to be updated but they're aware and don't seem to care about that. Other than that if it wasn't for their stew chicken or pork, I wouldn't come back at all honestly. read more

Absolutely delicious Dominican food but is so busy that I had to wait over 20-30 minutes because you get in line as you walked into the restaurant. The downside for me that you don't find parking and tables inside limited depend on the day of the week. Also is you enjoy loud music then is fine but not for me is way too loud. No to my opinion too loud is too much noises with people talking loud around you. Food prices average to high depends on what you ordered. Staff very pleasant and nice. The reason I gave them 3 stars was on the waiting on line and the loud music beside hardly no parking. Also, they have a separated bar area in which it makes people over too happy and loud. On the food I definitely give them a 5 stars. Pero todo riquísimo que pena que la música muy alta y casi no parking. read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Wilmington. My family just moved up from a city in Texas that had no Dominicans! So we came up here & this is the first place that popped up for Dominican food. Absolutely LOOOOVE them. So authentic that when I don't feel like cooking I know their food will be like home cooked meal. I highly recommend this place to anybody and everybody.
