The mussels normally come with bread, but I let them keep it in the kitchen to sub my own GF bread from home. The broth was thin and lightly flavored, which I enjoyed almost like a soup (but was too embarrassed to tip the bowl). The patron to my right bemoaned the loss of a thicker broth from a previous recipe, so the bartender brought him some scampi butter which helped apparently. I really loved the light broth and found it soaked into the bread quite nicely. Friendly bartender gal cashed me out at my request before I took my drink on the patio. $30 plus tip, well spent. We also got hush puppy and fries, both sides, hot and tasty. Saw the mussels and clams and shrimp in the display case for other options they offer as well as four sizes of crabs to choose from. You can buy just one or a whole dozen. Just soft drinks were available, but you can BYOB. I highly recommend this small hidden gem for a crab fix.
