Trouvé keeps claiming I have cancelled multiple appointments going back years. But those cancellations weren't apparently intolerable enough to end the relationship when they occurred. In reality they are peeved that I posted my honest online review. Years ago when they were in a nondescript office complex, they did not enforce their cancellation policy. Over nearly a decade I cancelled 3 appts (they were petty enough to comb their records & check) and that is only because I was genuinely sick. If I had to pay fees for these missed appts I never would have continued services here & definitely would not have pre-paid thousands in cash for 6 microneedling treatments in 2026. They do not do anything special in comparison to other medspas and the only reason I kept going here is to not get hit with surprise rules (like this newfound enthusiasm for previously unenforced policies). They recently moved to a new building which now they apparently have to pay out the wazoo for and suddenly they are enforcing anything & everything to wring you dry. They also see fit to arbitrarily double these fees whenever they feel like it from $75 to $150 w/ no rhyme or reason. Do not believe the sweet as pie "girl how you doin" jazz. They are 2-faced mean girl bullies to the core. They finally canceled my upcoming appointment and have agreed to refund me my remaining balance, which I asked for 3 months ago bc I do not feel comfortable with these people. At that time they refused to refund me bc it was against their "policy." Well what do you know another policy has changed overnight!! Another Trouvé sleight of hand. There will be many of those.Half of my sessions were also performed by non-RN's for procedures that are not just surface level peels but more invasive like microneedling. This is certainly not anything I have encountered at other med spas at this price point. Here's where it gets good : They had the nerve to: 1.) email, 2.) text AND 3.) send me a typed letter to my home about my future appt they were canceling and the return of my balance as if I am being canceled a front row seat with the Pope & not being given the favor of no longer having to frequent some dodgy medspa. I guess some people (rando nobodies who have gotten in over their heads with expanding their business) just have to do things in triplicate w/o addressing the real reason they're angry to make themselves feel vindicated. Ok divas: if you are holding onto someone's money she prepaid give it back to her when she no longer wishes to do business with you and your passive aggressive tendencies can remain in the dark & reviews would not expose you. The nerve they had to act like it was all their idea in the first place to refund me my money and cancel my appointments, using such emphatic language to boot LOL keep the letters coming. Next are you going to get a hot air balloon in front of my house telling me my appointments are canceled? A message in a bottle by way of Lake Erie? ‍ Smoke signals? Bc you have exhausted the known communications technologies of Western civilization. The Trouvé experience: getting hit with ridiculous fees out of nowhere (& have them double!) and then when you're puzzled about it get told they are suddenly enforcing policies that have been dormant for the entirety of the business. Ask to have your cash balance returned and future appts cancelled & they refuse & then have them abruptly change their mind be they rewrite policies to favor their interests and not the consumer. Have invasive procedures performed by estheticians not RN's. Expose them and watch them throw a hissy fit but in person experience profound cognitive dissonance when they "heyyyyy bestie!" you (ie empty playacting devoid of sincerity.) A medspa sells something unusually dependent on trust, reputation and atmosphere. Prospective clients are wondering, Are these people competent? Will they treat me well? Is this place worth the premium for expensive elective treatments? Answer: RUN! Avoid these mercenary snakes! read more

She knows a lot about skincare and has a lot of experience both with topical and injectable products. I trust her with my face (she is an advocate of "less is more" which means you won't leave Trouve with trout lips and a paralyzed face) and have referred my friends. I did the $50 light chemical peel on Groupon and totally loved it. I did Botox here and the first time, it looked great because I only did one unit for crow's feet (I'm 28 years old for context). I did some in my forehead and thought they did a great job there too but the rest of the review is specifically for crow's feet. So, after one unit for crow's feet, I loved the way it looked but it only lasted a month. I came back in to ask if it could look the same and emphasized that I absolutely still wanted some lines around my eyes but if possible, would like that exact look to last longer and they guided me to 6 units. I had gotten Botox before and told them that was way too much so they suggested 4. A week later, I have absolutely no lines around my eyes and look crazy. I am too self-conscious to socialize and there's nothing I can do but wait for 6 weeks. As a lesson to others out there, they were not conservative here in my experience. If they said I should do 6, I really should have done 2. Don't make my mistake and push back if they give you a number that seems too high - get less and then you can always go back if you need more. And if you have to go back every month then do that rather than look crazy for a month. I wish they had told me this before. They were very professional and the first two experiences I had really good ones so the last time is really disappointing. read more

I have come here twice, for two hydrafacials, first in the beginning of June and then again a few days ago. The first hydrafacial was around $250 and this last time around $200 because of a special. It is hard to leave a review for the place overall; I'm waffling between 3 and 5 stars, and I'll explain. First, when I booked my first appointment online in June, I had a choice of two people I could choose to have the facial with on the online menu. I chose one and then got a call a day or two later that she needed to change the appointment to the other practitioner and wasn't even sure how I was able to make an appointment with the original one I chose, as I guess she doesn't give facials. Hopefully they have that worked out in their system. As a result of that error, I had to choose a different time for my facial, although I was busy that was fine. Then, as soon as I got off the phone, I got an email with a new confirmation time that was different than the new time I had to choose. So I had to find time to call them back and ask if I had the right confirmed time in mind. She said yes, I could just ignore the email she sent in error...okay. Very confusing logistics/a lot of work to just book a facial. When you get to the spa, it is inside one of those corporate industry buildings with tons of different businesses on every floor, it looks very dreary. However, once you get to the fourth floor and inside the spa, it is decorated very nicely and is clean. They have a Keurig and a water dispenser with some tea bags. The first time I went they had little snacks of trail mix you could grab. This time they had some small candies, mints, and little botox injection shaped cookies. I've never had any of the food there but it's a nice little touch, albeit it's a help yourself approach, they don't offer to hang your coat or get you a water, unlike many other spas that charge less for facials. Moving on, like any spa you have to fill out tons of details about yourself such as your allergies and medicines the first time you go. The second time I went I just had to initial a waiver on a touchpad. I had originally wanted to get a microdermabrasion as part of my first facial, but the esthetician Anna (who by herself I would leave the highest review for) suggested a hydrafacial as I'm allergic to certain metals, and she was worried that would cause inflammation. This is a relief -- someone who actually reads your medical form and helps give you personalized advice for your skin. The hydrafacial was wonderful and my skin was glowing afterwards, she also did a great job the second time and remembered tons of details about me I guess she wrote down (e.g. I was just starting a new job, my allergies, etc.). That attention to detail is what makes you want to be a regular at a spa, like I am on a biweekly basis at Woodhouse Day Spa for my nails in Pinecrest. She explains everything that she's going to do, tests new peels on your skin as a patch when you have sensitive skin instead of just slathering it on, and overall is just the expert that you're looking for. However, both times when I got the car and looked in my rearview window, there was facial clay mask left on my face, the first time on a large part of my eyebrow and then the second time on part of my lips. Fortunately I had finished my errands this time, but out of all the people in the spa, Anna nor the *three* girls at the counter checking me out could tell me I had something on my face or offer to wipe it off? And this happened twice. I feel like this is a little rude as when you're not in the dim light of the facial room you can clearly see that I need to have something wiped off my face. Also, both times that I was here the girls at the front desk seemed a little unprofessional and were all gossiping and laughing very loudly with each other instead of paying attention to the customers. The facial room is pretty close to the front desk so even when you're getting a facial and you hear spa music you hear the front desk girls talking loudly. It doesn't necessarily lend towards a tranquil spa experience, and I guess maybe because they're all young and there's so many of them with so few customers. This along with their scheduling I want to leave 3 stars for, but Anna herself is great at facials and in fact I think I recommend as the best in Ohio that I've tried so far. So I'm torn. Read through this and see if it's the place for you. read more

I used to love this place but my last few experiences have been just horrible ... I will say this isn't about my results or procedures but about the front desk / policies ...I was canceled in the past at the last min with no real apology after waiting months to get in . After trying to get in at a later date to return there was a deposit policy now in affect of 100 dollars . I reluctantly agreed and rescheduled. I had an appointment today but told the spa desk about two days before I was at a doc appt and needed to call to confirm if I needed to cancel in a bit . ( before the 24 hours policy ) I was then diagnosed with Covid so clearly needed to for sure cancel ! I then again called back to inform the spa but they did not answer . ( Closed or busy ? ) On the day of my appt I tried to cancel yet again and was told rather rudely covid was not a valid reason to cancel and I needed to still come in or lose my deposit . They said my slot time was too valuable to waste so I would forfeit my deposit due to that reason ! So my slot is valuable but my health the staffs health and other clients health is not ? I was also told they have no restrictions in place for Covid so come or don't come but if I don't I again will lose the 100 dollars ! First thing , how can you predict a Covid diagnosis ( even through I kept them in the loop during the diagnostic process ) ? Second why would I be told to come in WITH Covid to be face to face with staff and receive medical procedures with an active infection / illness ? Third , why am I seeing reviews stating others were cancelled due to Covid related reasons yet I'm required to come or lose my money ?? I found this to be very concerning health wise and also very frustrating that I've been canceled before last minute after long waits to be seen due to staff emergency with nothing to makeup for it yet if I cancel for a legit reason I lose my money ? I feel I need to dispute the charge with my bank if the decision to hold my deposit is upheld and I feel the owner needs this brought to her attention as well to possibly make this right . Money should never come before staff or client health ! read more

I am very pleased with my experience at Trouvé Medspa thus far. Molly was able to correct my gummy smile which is something I've been self conscious about for years. I was happy to know that Botox could correct this issue versus the more expensive and painful alternatives. Molly was very informative about the procedure and what to expect in the days and weeks post treatment. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable which I truly appreciate. In the two weeks following my treatment, I personally can tell a difference with my smile and I'm happy with the results. Samantha quickly greeted me and took me back to a room where she answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. The fact that she is a Nurse Practitioner and referenced the facial muscular anatomy made me feel confident in her expertise. She was very personable and we talked about different options for injections. We decided on a moderate approach but she said if I wanted to come back for more she'd honor the price of the one day event I was able to take advantage of. I really appreciated that she didn't try to up sell any products or services but gave me an honest opinion when I asked about different services saying whether or not I would benefit from them at this time.
